Chapter 2522: I’ll Help You Find Him, But You Have to Help Me Find Someone Too!

"If there’s anything you want to ask, go ahead."

The middle-aged man, having eaten two servings of medicinal food, had a bit more color on his pale face. Perhaps because of Carson Flores’ gift, there was less wariness in the man’s tone and more warmth.

Carson Flores looked at the Token, which had a Formation, displaying a light arc. When this light arc completely disappeared, it indicated that time was up.

The middle-aged man ate quickly, so there was still plenty of time left.

Carson Flores asked, "Why not practice some cultivation to absorb it first?"

The middle-aged man shook his head, "Go ahead with your questions."

Seeing the middle-aged man insist, Carson Flores no longer stood on ceremony and continued with the previous topic, "Where do these businesses get the medicine they sell?"

"It comes from outside."

The middle-aged man simply explained, "Every year, a large number of Sea God Sect Disciples are caught breaking sect rules and are thrown into the Suffering Pray Sea. Over time, this place naturally formed a business."

"Those who monopolize the business here are people of formidable strength and background. They decide who runs which business, and anyone daring to compete will meet a dead end."

"Their families regularly send supplies in, which are then sold at high prices in the Suffering Pray Sea, earning them large amounts of Spirit Stones and Cultivation Resources. They then take these things out, give back to their families, and form a closed loop."

Carson Flores, upon hearing this, fully understood.

Indeed, wherever there are people, there is intrigue!

This place, though an exile land, is still controlled by powerful forces within the Sea God Sect who exploit this unique area for massive profits.

Outsiders find it hard to get such a stable and large supply of goods. If anyone tries to secretly meddle, they will barely survive in this place of exile.

Although the rule here is no internal killing, since everyone is a Sea God Sect Disciple, if a few die secretly, who would know?

Are there not enough who die under Spiritual Energy tides, deep in the sea, or by Sea Demons?

Carson Flores asked simply, "Which forces are in charge here?"

"Three forces: the Aarav Family, the Valentine Family, the Fire Cloud Sect led by Vice Sect Hierarch Erasmus James, and the forces led by Elder Council President Morvyn Newman. Although there are more than these three forces in the Sea God Sect, in the Suffering Pray Sea, it’s them that dominate here, dividing all business needed by the punished."

Carson Flores recognized the familiar Aarav Family and Valentine Family. As expected, these two families were closely linked everywhere, like one entity.

"What’s the deal with the Fire Cloud Sect?"

The middle-aged man explained, "The Sea God Sect is the sect hierarch, with many Immortal Sects joining entirely. They naturally become a force within the Sea God Sect. The Fire Cloud Sect was very capable, so Erasmus James eventually became Vice Sect Hierarch, and with this status, the Fire Cloud Sect naturally flourished."

Carson Flores nodded, indicating he understood.

The Sea God Sect, unlike the Three Sects of Eastern Radiance, is more like a mix of several Immortal Sects. In terms of overall strength, the Sea God Sect includes the most Sects, with the most disciples and the most experts.

However, the Sea God Sect also has its disadvantages: too many internal factions, severe infighting, and heavy internal consumption, making it hard to showcase truly strong Combat Power.

Carson Flores asked, "Are there any other islands in the Suffering Pray Sea like Market Island?"

"No!"

The middle-aged man explained, "Although there are a few other places, these islands are small. Most importantly, they have people keeping watch, not allowing anyone to compete for business. They concentrate all the business here for easier management."

Carson Flores nodded, finally addressing the core question, "I heard the Saint Heir was thrown here a couple of years ago and was sentenced to stay for a hundred years. Do you know about this?"

"I know."

The middle-aged man’s expression was somewhat nuanced, "His being sent here was a big deal, spread everywhere, but after arriving here he stayed on Market Island for a while then left, never returning."

"With his strength, and his stock of elixirs and other supplies, he doesn’t need to come back here for high-priced items. Maybe it’s possible in the future, but for now, he surely has no problems."

Carson Flores frowned, "Has anyone seen where he went?"

The middle-aged man thought for a moment, then looked up, "Are you just curious, or are you looking for him?"

Carson Flores asked calmly, "Is there a difference?"

The middle-aged man replied seriously, "I don’t know about this. If you’re just curious, we can move on to another question. If you’re looking for him and willing to pay a price, I can try to find out for you."

Carson Flores nodded, "I am indeed looking for him. Someone entrusted me to bring him something, but I don’t want to alert anyone. If you can help me find him, you can name your terms."

The middle-aged man’s eyes suddenly lit up, "If I help you find him, can you let him help me find someone too?"
