The Extra Villain: I Made a Contract With The Dragon Empress!

Chapter 349: Dance Session (3)

Chapter 349: Dance Session (3)

"Is this your first time dancing?" Merlin asked gently as he reached out his right hand.

Liora took it and stepped forward. With a shy smile, she nodded. "Yes, it’s my first time. You don’t mind, do you?"

As a member of the druid race, she had spent almost her entire life in the forest.

It was only natural that she lacked experience with dancing, especially since it was usually something practiced by nobles in human kingdoms.

However, she had read a book about dancing yesterday, so she at least had some basic knowledge.

"Of course not," Merlin said. "Don’t worry, I’ll lead. Just follow my steps, and I’ll guide you. Understand?"

Liora’s worries instantly eased. She smiled softly and whispered, "Thank you."

"[Ding! Heroine Liora Aryn’s affection has increased by 3 points! Current affection: 63 points.]"

"[Ding! Congratulations on earning 10,000 system points!]"

The music began to play, and the third dance session started. Merlin carefully guided Liora, though it wasn’t easy.

Liora’s body was different from that of an ordinary girl. Roots and vines surrounded her, so the two of them couldn’t stand too close.

She also couldn’t move quickly, as tree roots were wrapped around her ankles.

The result was obvious—their dance looked awkward and strange.

Liora felt a mix of embarrassment and discouragement. Dancing with Merlin suddenly seemed like a huge mistake.

She was only making things harder for him, and the other students were laughing at her.

"Don’t pay them any mind," Merlin whispered. "Just focus on yourself."

Liora met his deep purple eyes and felt an indescribable sense of comfort.

A small smile appeared on her lips as she gave a gentle nod.

"Um... thank you."

The music continued, and their movements slowly grew more fluid.

Liora felt a surge of joy. She hadn’t expected that, with Merlin’s guidance, she would actually be able to dance gracefully.

Finally, after five minutes, the music ended. Liora, out of breath, looked at Merlin, her eyes sparkling.

"Thank you, Merlin. Because of you, I was able to enjoy this dance."

"[Ding! Heroine Liora Aryn’s affection has increased by 7 points! Current affection: 70 points.]"

"[Ding! Congratulations on earning 30,000 system points!]"

Merlin checked his status and saw that his system points had increased to 240,000.

If he had known earning system points was this easy, why had he been desperately waiting for the system to assign him missions?

Wasn’t this method far easier and more relaxed?

Snapping out of his thoughts, Merlin smiled and gently patted Liora on the head.

"You’re welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed it. If you ever need anything in the future, just tell me, alright?"

As it happened, he had no reason to get closer to Liora, so he had to be proactive to keep her dependent on him.

"Um!" Liora nodded enthusiastically. "I’ll count on you!" Merlin seemed satisfied with her answer.

Afterward, Liora walked over to where the four girls were waiting.

Seeing her cheerful expression, Margaret and Monica couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy.

But when Monica realized it was her turn, she quickly stepped onto the dance floor and approached Merlin.

"Please help me," Monica said shyly, her slightly chubby cheeks turning red.

Merlin took her hand and gave her a faint smile.

"Of course, beautiful lady."

With that, the fourth dance began. The two moved to the rhythm of the music.

Not far away, a fat man watched the scene with clenched teeth. The fury in his eyes was unmistakable.

"Damn you, Merlin Clay! How dare you touch my Monica!? Are you tired of living!?"

If Margaret, Luna, and Catrine saw him, they would have looked at him with disgust.

That man was none other than Rodart—the perverted professor with twisted intentions toward Monica.

If not for their intervention back then, Monica might have been deceived by him and lost her innocence.

"I won’t allow this... Monica belongs to me alone!" he growled through gritted teeth.

He had already convinced himself that Monica would be his future wife. The girls had stopped him before, but he didn’t care.

Now, however, his fantasy had been shattered by Merlin. That damned brat had dared to hold Monica’s hand—and even wrap his arms gently around her waist.

Something like that was only possible in Rodart’s dreams.

"It’s fine... I still have a chance," he muttered, forcing down his anger and anxiety.

He had already prepared a plan to conquer Monica. He simply hadn’t dared to carry it out yet—the right moment hadn’t come.

He still needed his position as a professor. The salary was too good to give up.

But he was certain the opportunity would come sooner or later. And when it did, Monica would fall completely into his hands.

Five minutes later, the fourth dance session ended. Monica felt a surge of joy.

’So this is dancing... it feels so wonderful,’ she murmured, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

Earlier, she could only watch. But now, she could actually feel it for herself, and it was truly amazing.

Of course, she realized that the feeling might have come from the fact that her partner was Merlin. If it were someone else, she wasn’t sure it would feel the same.

"You did your best," Merlin praised.

Monica’s eyes sparkled. She smiled and whispered, "Thank you."

"[Ding! Villainess Monica Sael’myr’s affection has increased by 5 points! Current affection: 90 points!]"

"[Ding! Congratulations on earning 15,000 system points!]"

"[Ding! Monica Sael’myr’s Main Body Conquest Progress has increased by 30 points! Progress status: 80/100!]"

Seeing the series of notifications, Merlin nodded in satisfaction—especially at the conquest progress.

’It won’t be long before I conquer the Monica in front of me... or the real Monica,"’ he muttered.

The real Monica was an ancient elf who had lived for thousands of years. Conquering her was clearly extremely difficult—almost impossible.

But with the system’s help, it could be done. And the Monica standing before him played a crucial role.

Through her, Merlin was indirectly connected to the real Monica Sael’myr.

Once Monica stepped away, it was Margaret’s turn. Her face was filled with excitement.

She grabbed Merlin’s hand and spoke like a queen. "Don’t disappoint me, understand?"

Merlin chuckled softly. He lifted Margaret’s hand and kissed the back of it.

"Of course, Young Lady."

With that, the fifth dance session began—and ended flawlessly.

The students who had been watching from the start couldn’t hold back their admiration any longer and burst into applause.

It had to be said, Merlin’s stamina was truly extraordinary. Even after dancing consecutively with different partners, his movements never faltered.

Meanwhile, Merlin, the center of everyone’s attention, didn’t care at all.

His mind was focused on a single goal—completing the mission of dancing with all five girls.

"System," Merlin said arrogantly, snapping his fingers. "Give me the reward."

"[Ding! Mission complete! Congratulations, Master. You’ve earned 40,000 system points!]"

Merlin glanced at his system points, which had risen to 295,000, and nodded in satisfaction.

"Excellent. With this many points, I can move more freely."

Aside from his own strength, he relied on the system—especially his system points—to overcome the challenges ahead.

The more points he earned, the more confident he became.

"I didn’t expect you to be so skilled. Just as expected of the controller of women—amazing."

A sarcastic voice came from beside him. Merlin turned and saw Nerixa, the dragon princess.

Merlin smiled and replied casually, "It’s nothing. There will be more girls later. Want to join my harem?"

He meant it as a joke, but Nerixa only smiled and leaned closer.

The distance between their faces was barely five centimeters. Merlin could even catch her scent—soft and fragrant, like magnolia blossoms.

With a playful smile, she whispered, "I don’t mind. But it all depends on you. Are you capable of keeping me by your side?"

Merlin glanced at her status panel. Her affection points were only 45—extremely low—so her words were nothing more than empty talk.

"Stop lying. It’s too obvious."

He pushed her away.

Nexara was taken aback. She could control her expressions, steady her heartbeat, and more. It was almost impossible for a boy not to be moved by her words.

Yet just now, Merlin had called her out. Doesn’t that mean he could see right through her?

"[Ding! Heroine Nexara’s affection increased by 5 points! Current affection: 50 points.]"

Merlin seemed unfazed. In truth, his goal had never been to conquer all the heroines. Nexara wasn’t among his targets. The dragon queen—her mother—was.

If he could get her, the power of the dragon race would naturally be his. Wouldn’t that be like getting gold and diamonds all at once?

"You’re really boring," Nexara complained, though her smile was hard to hide.

"By the way—" she began, but a cold voice cut through from behind them.

"You’re Merlin Clay, aren’t you?"

Startled, both of them instinctively turned to see Geran approaching, accompanied by Trigard, Arta, and Luvis with his cronies.

Merlin narrowed his eyes and muttered, "Impatient, aren’t we?"
