The Dragon's Pact: A Princess for the Flame

Chapter 28 – Subdue the Magical Beast

Chapter 28 – Subdue the Magical Beast

Presented before Su Nian was a highly detailed map of the distribution of magical beast forces.

From their current location, the deeper they went, the stronger the magical beasts became. However, the highest level was only around 20. Beyond that lay the Silvermoon Mountains.

The previous Kobold chieftain lacked the ability to explore the more dangerous Silvermoon Mountains.

But for now, this was sufficient.

Centered around the Kobold tribe, there were three magical creature groups: the Blazing Rabbits, Cockatrices, and Spear Boars.

Deeper still was the Gnoll tribe, which often bullied the Kobolds in the past.

As for the Mountain Wolves, they had no fixed abode and were always on the move. The Silver Moon Wolves were rare, and the few Su Nian encountered that day were purely by chance.

Each of these magical creature groups had their own leader. Su Nian stroked his chin thoughtfully and instructed Polikri:

"Polikri, gather all the Kobolds, bring your tools, and later, do nothing but find all the rabbit holes for me and block them all."

...

Moments later.

Su Nian looked menacingly at the Blazing Rabbit Chief he held in his hand, seemingly contemplating where to take a bite.

Around him, the Kobolds looked like bullies, wielding knives, spears, and clubs, herding a group of ordinary Blazing Rabbits together, forcing them to crouch on the ground with their heads down.

Any Blazing Rabbit that moved even slightly would be kicked hard by a Kobold or stabbed in the backside.

The Blazing Rabbit Chief was a level 3 rabbit, slightly redder than the others.

It actually looked quite cute.

With 150 health points, its skills were quite poor, capable of nothing but spitting fireballs, with one additional clan command skill.

A quick look at "paw𝑟ead.com" will leave you more fulfilled.

The so-called clan command allowed it to order the entire group of rabbits.

But it was of no use; these rabbits were basically level 1 small monsters outside the Starter Village, with no advantages other than their numbers, fast reproduction, and being tasty.

At this moment, the Blazing Rabbit Chief was being held by its ears by Su Nian, its plump rabbit body curled up and trembling.

It had been happily pulling up carrots, not knowing how it ended up surrounded by a group of Kobolds and a terrifyingly fierce-looking Black Dragon.

When it tried to escape back into its rabbit hole, it despairingly found that all the hundred or so rabbit holes it had dug were blocked by those damn Kobolds.

So what if you're a trap expert?

The Blazing Rabbit Chief grew more and more frustrated, but its newly awakened intelligence didn't want to further provoke the Black Dragon before it.

It could only stare with its big, red eyes, looking pitiful.

Its bloodline inheritance told it that if you can't win, act cute.

"Wow, the bunny is so cute, I love it~"

The Blazing Rabbit Chief looked towards the back of the Black Dragon, where a delicate Elf Girl sat, and it suddenly felt hopeful.

Its bloodline inheritance told it that elves were angels.

But the Elf Girl's next words nearly made it collapse.

"Brother, how should we eat the bunny today~"

Damn it, elves are supposed to be angels, the Blazing Rabbit Chief thought its ancestors must have had some serious issues.

"Anna, today we won't eat the rabbit. We should get along with the rabbit."

Su Nian's voice was hoarse, like sandpaper, and although his words were friendly, to the Blazing Rabbit, they were almost indistinguishable from the whispers of the abyss.

"Blazing Rabbit Chief, listen carefully."

Su Nian forcibly injected his consciousness into the Blazing Rabbit Chief's mind using Draconic.

"From today, you are my follower. Every day, you will lead your rabbits to run five kilometers around the Kobold tribe, then do burpees and sit-ups under Polikri's supervision, 100 per set, 10 sets in total."

"As for what burpees and sit-ups are, I'll send trained Kobolds to teach you later. You have no objections, right? Hehehe..."

The Blazing Rabbit Chief quickly nodded, but since Su Nian was holding its ears, nodding turned into kicking its legs forward.

Seeing the Blazing Rabbit Chief agree to his kind suggestion, Su Nian didn't hesitate and immediately dropped a bit of blood on its forehead, which was instantly absorbed by the Blazing Rabbit Chief.

In less than half an incense stick's time, black scales grew on its neck, and its level rose to 5, clearly becoming one of Su Nian's kind.

"From now on, you'll be called Bugs Bunny. Stick with me, and you won't be mistreated."

Su Nian nodded, satisfied, and placed Bugs Bunny on the ground, even giving it a friendly pat on the shoulder.

After the Black Dragon and the Kobolds left, Bugs Bunny pulled itself out of the ground and, not daring to slack off, immediately gathered all the Blazing Rabbits to start running around the Kobold tribe's caves.

...

Later, Su Nian visited the Cockatrice Chief (level 7) and the Spear Boar Chief (level 9) in the same friendly manner, naming them Brother Chicken and Pigsy, respectively.

Like the Blazing Rabbits, they had to run five kilometers around the Kobold tribe's caves every day.

After running, Brother Chicken had to lead its Cockatrice tribe to hang upside down from trees and do a thousand pull-ups.

Pigsy's tribe had it even worse. Since Su Nian thought they were too fat, they not only had to run an additional five kilometers at night but also crash into trees five hundred times and do fifty shuttle runs during the day.

Thus, an absurd scene appeared in the Silvermoon Forest.

A group of Blazing Rabbits was seen running madly around the Kobold tribe's caves.

Following them were the panting, wing-flapping Cockatrices and the "panting" Spear Boars.

...

While these magical beasts were being forced by Su Nian to follow the path of Master Saitama, he had already led a group of Kobolds to the Gnoll territory.

Compared to the weaker Blazing Rabbits, Cockatrices, and Spear Boars, the Gnolls were not so easily subdued.

They were a group of chaotic evil faction thugs, wild humanoid creatures that would attack remote human areas or border cities without warning. Even in the Silvermoon Forest, they were undisputed bully invaders.

They loved to slaughter prey, leaving no survivors, and devoured the flesh and blood of their victims.

It's said that Gnolls were once followers of demons and took pride in serving them.

Su Nian's Dragonblood Pact was more likely to succeed if the captured were willing, so to subdue these unruly Gnolls, a bloody war was inevitable.

"Master, the Gnolls are very powerful. Although individually they are not as strong as the Itt Monsters, they are numerous and cunning."

Polikri was providing Su Nian with a detailed introduction to the Gnolls.

To be honest, Polikri was quite happy that the Black Dragon was willing to fight the Gnolls because those damn Gnolls had often troubled the Kobold tribe.

Kobolds often got killed and eaten by Gnolls when they ventured out.

Faced with large numbers of Gnolls, the weak Kobolds often had to retreat to their caves, using intricate cave designs and numerous insidious traps to deal with these bastards.

"The Gnoll leader is called Alpha. It rules the tribe with its strength and cunning, but it won't expose itself easily."

"If you find the strongest one later, with some piercing marks and strange trophies hanging on it, it's most likely the Gnoll leader."

Polikri spared no detail, revealing all the secrets it knew.

Brother Chicken
