Chapter 46
Chapter 46
The dream….
Ana was watching the man swimming in the river amidst nature. His back was facing her and he appeared extremely handsome. The muscles of his arms flexed as he reached his hair, combing it back with his fingers to get rid of water. He was olive skinned, perfectly built tall and lean with sexy abs and mouth watering machismo. Ana kept staring unblinkingly at him. He looked like an Eros of passion.
Turning back he smiled and walked towards her from the river. She was standing on a riverbank holding a towel, gazing at him beside the cascading waterfall. The sound was heavenly from the waters and the sky above her was clear.
Whiter than snow were the clouds, and the ether was the bluest blue. He walked towards her in dangerously slow steps and with that panty dropping smile adorning his lips that could make any girl melt in her insides. With every step he took forward her heart was beating louder and louder.
Taking the towel from her hands he wiggled his head and droplets of water splashed on her face and neck from his dark black hair. He gave out a naughty seductive grin and winked at her. His inviting fragrance was encapsulating her entity in a lustrous endeavor bringing in her the chilling thoughts of amour.
Her lips parted with his zealous effect. There was just an inch of space between them. He bent forward and Ana closed her eyes. His fingers gingerly traced the droplets of water on her shoulder setting her complete body on fire.
Slightly bending his head, his lips traced her ear lobe and kissed her. Ana did not know she was holding her breath. He caressed her face to kiss her when somebody appeared in front of them. Larry. What the hell! Where did he come from?
Ana's eyes flickered open. She was pulsing high with sweat covering her face. What a mind blowing vision it was. Her heart was still beating fast. She recollected the man from the dream and to her alarm he was the person she wanted to keep her distance from. Mr Forbidden.
Why did he come in her dream? Why would she not be able to control her heart for the man. She was squirming like a bee for his virginal touch when she had so many males doing much more mature things to her in the past. Why?
Her eyes took a note of the time on the wall clock and it was almost noon. How would she sleep so long? Of course yesterday's schedule was very tiresome. Since morning nine she had been traveling and shopping alternatively.
She looked around the executive suite where she was staying. Her life was taking a drastic turn all of a sudden. And she was apprehensive about the happening because when similar kinds of things happened in her past they only ruined her and to an extent she couldn't recover till date. Anyone who sees her would never believe she was up to her neck in debt. But with the way she dwelled it screamed riches and power.
What Anastasia did not know was, a man in his late forties entered the room of Aria, Anastasia's mother. His aged eyes locked their vision on the beautiful sleeping lady in front of him. Lovingly he ran his hands on her silky tresses.
Taking out his black rimmed glasses he wiped the wetness that formed in his eyes with a handkerchief. "I am sorry." He whispered to her holding her hand. A lone tear from his eyes fell on their conjoined hands and the woman opened her eyes.
She wiggled her eyebrows and knotted her eyes staring at the man sitting in front of her and the realization hit her like a hurricane. A slow but sure smile dawned on her like a rising sun gazing up at him. Her lips trembled and words went sealed experiencing the miraculous moment which couldn't gain a place even in her dream.
She wanted to say many things to him. But before she could recover her strength to speak, darkness consumed her and she fell back on the bed unconscious.
The team of neurologists and cardiac surgeons arrived at the room in no time. The paramedics immediately arranged for an intravenous. The doctor checked her pulse and ECG was supervised. After almost two hours they could revive her. The hustle cleared and everything finally settled.
"Don't worry she will recover and she will remember everything after the surgery." The doctor patted the man who looked half dead feeling the misery of the woman and left the room.
Flashback
And the best student award goes to Aaron Gills." The principal of St Xavier's school announced and there was a round of applause from the crowd in the Auditorium.
Aaron, dressed in a black blazer and Navy blue pants went to receive the award, his eyes were searching for a certain someone among the students as photographers clicked continuously to capture him - the blue eyed boy of the school.
On his way back to his seat there were many of his juniors and co-students congratulating him for his remarkable achievement in academics but the person he was in quest of, was nowhere to be seen.
David, Aaron's friend, hugged him with happiness. "Your mom would have been very happy to see this if she was alive today."
"Yes, she would." Aaron replied to him with wetness in his eyes.
David and Aaron are orphans brought up in St Xavier's orphanage since they were three and both of them went to the same school.

Aaron since his childhood wanted to be a businessman and earn loads of money.
His father Abraham Gills was a billionaire entrepreneur. Aaron's mother was an innocent and kind hearted lady who fell in love with him. Little did she know he was only using her.
Everything went on good in Aaron's life until his mother died of cancer when he was only three but her last words to him created a lasting effect in his mind.
"Aaron, my son..."There is only one thing in this world that works from beggar to billionaire - money."
She brought her shivering hands cupping his soft cheeks and kissed his forehead. "When you have money the whole world is filled with your relatives and when you do not have it there is nobody even to look back and give you a begging bowl. Remember this formula as long as you live."
Since the day Aaron made it his life goal to become the richest man in the universe. He studied day and night to grab top grades because until then he wouldn't get a scholarship to score a seat in top universities - a stepping stone to become the richest man.

"Hey man, today is your day. Let us have a few drinks and enjoy some girls." David insisted but Aaron's eyes were still searching for her, he would call his life.
David looked at Aaron and understood everything. "You're looking for Aria. Isn't it?" The girl wouldn't even look at you but you are head over heels for her.
Aaron ignored David's statement and asked him curiously. "Did you see Aria?"
David marked a frustrated sigh. "I saw her walking towards the church."
Aaron's eyes twinkled like the stars in the night sky. The happiness that David couldn't see even when he was receiving the prize as the best student of the school was now reflecting on his face as clear as a day. David was worried about his friend that the girl would reject him one day and break his heart.
Aaron turned towards the exit in excitement but David stopped him. "Today you are going to ask the girl about her feelings towards you. If she agrees I will be the happiest guy on earth after you but if she rejects you, you are not going to see or talk to her ever again. You would promise me that." David demanded.
Aaron nodded to him with a grin and raced to the exit in jubilation.
Aria was kneeling between the rows of benches before the huge sculpture of Christ with her head bowed and hands folded.
After she finished her prayer she turned around and her eyes went wide in surprise looking at the only person for whom she was actually there.
Aria was a nerd who hails from a respectful middle class family. Due to her introvertness though they were friends for a long time she could never confess her love for him but secretly admired Aaron.
Aaron smiled looking at her. "I was searching for you throughout the auditorium. I thought you would be present when I received the biggest award of my life." There was a little disappointment etched on his features.
Aaron did not know Aria wouldn't miss, even for the world, the most glorious moment of his career. She had been present till the time he received the award and ran to the church to thank God for accepting her prayers.
Aaron was apprehensive to express his feelings for the fear of losing his friendship with Aria in the name of love. But it was now or never. He had applied and already got selected for a scholarship program to do his graduation in University of Michigan.
"Aria" he walked to her and held her hands in his. "I had feared to face this moment for a long time but today if I do not do it, I will miss my chance forever." His voice was husky, immensely masculine growing erotic feelings in her. Slowly he lifted her arm and flattened on the left side of his chest.
"Do you feel the beat of my heart?" Aria nodded. "It always goes erratic, like this whenever you're around me."
"I love you so much and I cannot live without you." He finally confessed.
"I know you are a very shy girl. You need not say a word. If your feelings are the same as mine, pick the red rose. Else, you pick the white one and I will not show you my face ever again."
Aaron's heart was beating a thousand miles a second. It was the anxiety he never experienced, like he was standing at the edge of a cliff and in his last moments of life.
Aria walked slowly to him and then looked at his open palms which held both the roses. She was mute as he expected. The feelings on her face were unreadable making him more agitated.
