Chapter 202 - The Cold Snow's Wrath!

Maya blinks dumbly "Cold? I don't feel-"

She stops speaking as she placed her own palm below her chin. It's typical to check the temperature placing their palm under one's chin in her country just like how others check the forehead instinctively. 

She gasps stunned and mutters in a cluless tone "Why am I turning cold?"

A LOUD SOUND OF WIND HOWLING!

Before anyone could speak, both turns behind hearing a sudden sound of wind blowing. In no time the sounds increases with harsh wind storm around the Pavilion. 

Xavier grabs Maya's hand hurriedly "Let's leave from here!".

Maya nods and runs with him towards her chamber. She couldn't help look back curiously while running with Xavier.

Something in her warns that this is not just a coincidence. Her mind already felt suspicious but she doesn't want to acknowledge it as she doesn't want to give certain someone that importance. 

As if a deadly storm is forming, the trees in the garden around them were almost clinging to the ground. Maya realizes the situation and shouts pulling Xavier's hand towards her "We should hide somewhere! ".

When Xavier nodded, both were separated instantly by a strong force of wind. Maya could only see Xavier screaming something looking at her for a fraction of second as in next moment she just stepped into the starting line of the real torture. 

Immediately, Maya was tossed around ruthlessly. She doesn't know what was happening to her but she thinks of a possibility. As she has experienced similar situation like this before. The difference is this time the wind didn't carry her straight to Kalki instead it is pushing and pulling her from all the directions.

She holds her head and screams "Ah!"

'Is this happening because of his health?! Then why am I being tossed around instead of going to him?! I was literally thrown into a battlefield last time! Then why is this wind punishing me?! For what?!'

She squints her eyes when she felt like hitting hard on ground and sees the strong roots of the trees grown above the ground near her. She didn't wait for a chance and leaps to grab it firmly. She doesn't want to be tossed aside again.

Even though she didn't want to unroot the whole tree by her current strength when she was being tossed by wind, she ignores that thought as she wants to show that she is not less than the wind.

She might not know anything about the situation. But one thing she has always been sure of .. which is.. she would fight till the end.

'What should I worry about when I know my Power Element?!'

Seeing the wind become silent, she thinks everything is over for good finally. She supports herself and tries to walk ahead. But a gust of wind pushes her hard instantly.

Maya "..." What the-

She stumbles weakly but manages to take a few steps ahead with her every strength. It seemed like the nature had made a firm decision this time as with every step she took she was pushed to the ground by a huge blow of wind from her behind.

Now Maya is lying on the ground and her whole appearance looked horrible than a homeless person. Her hairs are dishevelled and her clothes are torn. Till now the wind is making her looks miserable in every way. 

Without minding how she looked, Maya tries to walk. Maybe it doesn't matter how she looked as long as this wind leaves her alone? While she is staggering in random directions, the minute she stepped towards the sickroom direction absentmindedly, the wind stops pushing her instantly.

She gasps for her breaths as she didn't even realize that the wind stopped and feels both her ears are blocked at this point. She could hardly see as her eyes are burning by the cold wind and dust.

She blinks her eyes and realizes that she is kneeling which she doesn't even know how. She feels the sudden silence only few minutes after the wind stopped. She lets out a relaxed breath and tries to stop herself panicking.

Maya looks around carefully "..." What was that?

She wipes her face by her elbow and tries to stand. She tilts her head and takes a step back slowly only to be pushed by the wind harshly to the front. As if the wind wants to lead her in the right path.

".."

Maya kneels down again by the sudden impact. She starts thinking for a reason for all this happening to her and her mind instantly zoomed to Kalki's face in her mind.

'Did he curse me?! Wasn't his power element Water? Why is this wind helping him to torture me?!'

When she finished thinking such, she is already kneeling in front of the sick chamber. Previously the wind pushed her so hard so she fell right in front of the sick chamber where Kalki was being treated before. She just have to take few steps to open the chamber door.

When she had no strength to move, she falls on the ground. When she tried to move again, her eyes turns wide seeing a huge whirlpool of snow forming above her. As each second passes the snow storm gets stronger and a large amount of snow is about to fall over her. She can swear that this is Kalki's doing!

She whimpers curling herself weakly as the coldness starts to eat all her strength. She tries to use her Power Element but no vail. Realization hit her hard and she starts crying. She feels betrayed as the Power Element- Wind and Water of nature has turned against her. Her only Power Element- Fire itself is against her now as she couldn't feel it in her. As if it wants her to suffer now.

She whimpers when she felt the cold gust of wind from above slapped her face and screams in agony. She felt as if her body being stabbed by numerous knife at the same time.

Even her strong will power to fight the death is harshly blown away by all the nature's wrath. The cold snow's wrath!

'Is this how I die?! After suffering all my life?!'

She chuckles coldly and grunts glaring at the whirlpool of snow above her "Fine! Then kill me if you want him too to die!"
