Maya fights hard to hide her surprise but blurts out in curiosity "What?!".
'How could this man..how does he know?!'.
Kalki only smirks as a reply. He is standing near the huge wooden table in his chamber which once Maya marvelled before. But now she is nervous and clueless as she couldn't decide or think what to do in front of this man.
Kalki shrugs and speaks arrogantly sitting on a wooden chair "Well, It's not that oblivious. You left your several chances of leaving my country in vain and keep on staying here".
Maya only gulps.
'I must not speak for my own good. He speaks as if he already knows everything! Why would I open my mouth and cause trouble for me?'.
Kalki states grabbing a soldier miniature from the table carelessly while his eyes rested on the soldier completely "Now you started saving the family of Royals. Do you have any foolish motive of becoming the Queen?".
His eyes found her face when he asked the question. There was a hint of coldness in his voice whils asking it.
Maya gasps immediately "No!".
'He thinks I am here to become the Queen?! That's the reason he is troubling me?! Now I answered him that I don't want to be a Queen. He will let me go?-'.
Kalki smirks even arrogantly and declares "Exactly! Now tell me. Why are you here?".
Maya "..." This man is truly impossible..He knows everything! And...Did he just trick me with my own answer?! Now I am cornered to tell him the truth! How witty and cunning is this man?!
"I will explain everything, Your Highness".
Bhommi appears out from the ceiling and descends from there slowly.
Maya frowns at Bhommi displeased.
'I don't want him to know! I don't like involving him in this! He is too arrogant to help us!'.
Bhommi smiles hearing Maya's point and speaks "We have to tell him anyway, Sister Maya. This is about his country too. I have to do my duty to guide you in the right path. Telling him everything will only help us immensely".
Both eyes at Kalki who never changed his face. Not even a little!
Maya sighs looking away silently 'This man is already looking down on me. If he takes this in his control, I can't do anything on my own!! Only he knows about the Cold prison! And what can I do without even knowing my Power Element?!'.
She hates herself now as she feels too vulnerable and useless in front of this man.
Bhommi chuckles seeing Kalki's same nonchalant posture "I expected you to at least be surprised seeing me, Your Highness".
Maya rolls her eyes 'No one can surprise this man. At least I don't have to speak now..It would be surprising to us if he even move his eyes away'.
Maya watches sullenly till Bhommi finished telling everything from the beginning about what happened outside the Cold Prison.
Kalki stares at Maya mysteriously before speaking harshly "You opened the door".
Maya takes a deep breath and stays silently. She wishes that he would let her go off this but no.
He speaks in disdain "So you don't know your Power Element which might be the next step to close the Cold Prison".
He sounded so cold and calm as if he doesn't feel this issue as a new one. He spoke as if he has been aware of the problem since the beginning.
Maya frowns suspiciously 'How can he just accept everything so easily?! He talks as if we were together for whole years! Wait...He TALKS! NORMALLY! Finally in His normal coldness!'.
But she chooses to answer him at first even though she hated it "Yes. I don't know yet".
She couldn't believe they were talking about this. She never would have imagined that she would be talking to him so soon!
He smirks mockingly as if she was the only stupidest creature in this world.
Maya grits her teeth at his arrogance and fumes in her heart.
He walks to a corner of his room where numerous candles were lit and comes back with a little barrel of oil which was kept beside the table. Looks like they were kept so that they will refill the oil in the lamps when it ends.
Maya frowns strangely and looks at Bhommi who pouts innocently at Maya.
Maya scoffs at Bhommi in her mind 'Can't you speak to him? What is he doing? It's not time to refill the lamps!'.
Kalki grabs a candle while turning back and smirks at Maya.
She takes a step back getting a bad premonition of this and asks in alert "What are you doing?".
'He is not going to...burn me alive, is he?! What's there to kill me over this issue?!'.
As if he read her mind he smirks broadens devilishly appreciating her scared response.
Maya looks at Bhommi nervously and warns immediately "I don't believe him. Ask him to stop whaterver he is trying to do!".
Bhommi smiles faintly and speaks with confidence before eyeing Kalki sneakily "Sister Maya. You don't have to worry at all! He can't live without you. So be rest assured".
Maya opens her eyes wide 'What?! He can't live without me?! What's that supposed to mean?!'.
Kalki stops walking for a brief moment hearing Bhommi but continues his pace towards Maya.
Maya forgets her fear and fumes pointing at Bhommi accusing "You never told me that!".
She puts her hand down as soon she notices it shivering. She doesn't want to embarrass herself in front of this man!
Bhommi rolls her eyes "You never asked, Sister Maya. It's true..If you die, his power will disappear too!".
Kalki stops walking and glares at Bhommi as if this new information shocked or irked him but he didn't show that.
Maya takes her steps back from him even after he stopped walking and asks bluntly "He will only lose his power but I will die, won't I?!".
