Maya jumps in shock hearing the huge door closing with loud noise.
HEAVY AND FAST FOOTSTEPS
None is needed to tell her whose were they.
Maya checks out the mini knife that she has been hiding in her robes and tries to focus by hiding her fear.
'How did he hear me from there?! Did I think loudly?! He can hear sharply too?! Just like me..This man can be dangerous, Maya. .but you are dangerous than him as you have magical powers! So stop getting scared of him! Huh? This man too has Powers, Maya! He can hurt you!-'.
"If you are finished panicking, do you have any intention to explain something to me?".
Maya turns to face the aloof face of none other than The Crown Prince Kalki!
'That was ..calm? He can talk normally?'
She shakes her head in confusion "Explain?".
That was the only word left her mouth after hearing his lengthy question!
Kalki leans towards his side and grabs a sack.
Maya tilts her head in confusion 'Is he going to kill me and throw me inside that sack! Heavens! I will kill him before he even tries! He can only dream!'.
Kalki keeps the sack on the table with heavy thud which made loud noises of metals.
He opens it exposing the contents inside it completely.
Maya opens her eyes wide as she looked at the contents of the sack "The Royal Bow and the quiver of arrows?!".
Kalki smirks dangerously "I feared you might have forgotten them".
Maya finds his smirk dangerous than his coldness!
He steps ahead towards her as an attempt to intimidate her "What are you exactly?".
Maya steps back in fear as her planned words just jumped out of her mind seeing him. She hated fearing him but she can't help it!
Just like fire gets quenched by water!
Kalki gets very close to Maya but then something serious happened.
Maya grabbed her mini knife subconsciously and about to stab him behind but Kalki holds her wrist right before the knife touches his back. It was more of a involuntary action from Maya as last time, Kalki just threatened her by placing a knife on her neck. It did hurt her too!
Maya shivers at his strength and whimpers trying to get her hand back from him.
Kalki's frown increased as if he senses something weird. He hisses gravely "I heard the people from Hindustan could never stab a person behind his back".
Maya finds her courage finally and smirks still breathing heavily "Oh They never do that!".
Kalki stares down at her slowly as his eyes land on her leg. He senses something weird apart from his previous suspicion. He already guessed that she might have injured in her leg by the way she walked in the court. He forwards his other hand saying "You are not stronger-".
He almost sounded distracted, as his statement sounded like a question.
Maya interrupts him with grave voice "I might not. But I am smarter than you!".
Saying so, she grabs the knife from her locked hand by her free one and stabs him right through his stomach.
Kalki didn't execpect this, as he never thought that Maya is actually capable enough to harm Him. Locking her one hand made him to think that she would give up but no. Turned out that Maya forbids to give up. But.

To both of their surprise, Maya was the one who screamed in agony.
As soon as she stabbed him, she wanted to throw a sentence at his face with a mocking grin 'People from Hindustan don't stab one's back'.
But she is shocked to feel the pain in her stomach instead! Exactly at the place where she stabbed Kalki before.
She couldn't help but let out a loud whimper 'Did he stab me too?! How did he do it?! I did not see any weapon in his hand-'.
Before she could find that, darkness made her to succ.u.mb to it, as all her injuries took their toll and made her to fall into Kalki's arms weakly.
Kalki looks at her shocked as he couldn't understand anything at all.
Before he could think of something, Maya lost her conscious and made him go blank!.
He never stands blank! He never gets shocked! He never stands without understanding something! He never gets stabbed by a woman! He never felt any of these until he met Maya at this moment.
He carries her and feels his left leg going completely numb as if they were severely injured.
He can recognize that as he is accustomed to the injuries but he wonders what made his leg go numb in pain suddenly.
He walks still staring right at Maya's face and makes her lay on his bed. He checks the stabbed injury in his stomach and hisses removing the knife, cursing under his breath.
He throws the knife away in rage and grabs a cloth to tie on his wound. As soon as he tied the cloth, he frowns 'Why did she scream in pain when she stabbed me?!'.
He remembers the weird feeling when he held her wrist before and turns behind him to see her still lying unconscious.
He walks to her again and looks at her carefully before forwarding his hand towards her wrist again but a little hesitantly.
As soon as he touches her wrist, the pain rushed into his leg again making him to wince.
He steps back in a swift movement leaving Maya's hand in the process. He gasps realizing something and stumbles forward towards her left leg. He gets astonished and eager to find the mystery in front of him. Magics sure find a way to make him curious!
'How is this happening?!'
Reluctantly looking at Maya again, he pulls up her gown slowly. His fingers trembles at the action.
He can destroy his enemies just by snapping his fingers but doing this really made him to shiver! If his curiosity wasn't ignited, he never would have done this but he has to find his answers which are lying in front of him!
