Maya face turned ugly hearing Bhommi praising Kalki. She purses lips tightly and looks away bitterly.
'I thought...at least I have more magical powers than him..But now ? Turned out that he is powerful too...'.
Hearing Bhommi's praises only worsened her condition. She creases her eyebrows and glares at Bhommi sullenly.
'Powerful?! Fearless? Am I not? Look how ungrateful she has turned now after seeing that man!'.
She notices her thigh injury and opens her mouth troubled. This sudden realization again haunted her even more this time..
'Heavens! How would I remove this sword from my thigh now?! It will hurt more!!'.
She grits her teeth and sits idly. Her eyes were completely glossy as the agony of the injury is still there.
For some unknown reasons, she felt very unimportant now.
Or she might be disappointed after seeing the person who is her other Half of Her Soul.
Perhaps she is not satisfied with the fact that Kalki still would be in upper hand in every situations. Or she might not be satisfied with the person or...she might have expected someone else to be her other Half...

Bhommi asks seeing Maya in distress "Sister Maya? Why don't I help you..with this sword?".
Bhommi was about to pull out the sword but Maya screams in shock "It will hurt!!".
She stares at Maya in utter disbelief "..." Honestly?!
Bhommi chuckles approaching Maya "But you have to remove it-".
Maya shakes her head in horror and tries to crawl back away from her "No..It will hurt even more now..".
Bhommi looks at Maya flabbergasted 'My Goodness! Look at that fear in her face! As if she was not the one who stabbed herself before!'.
Maya purses her lips in humiliation and hisses through her gritted teeth "I did not expect that fearless Crown Prince would arrive here, did I?! I tried to fight my battle alone and not wait for any other Incomplete Soul to interfere in My struggles..even at the cost of my life!".
Bhommi frowns blankly "W-why are you angry, Sister Maya?".
Maya looks away irked and mutters "Instead of his help..I wish I could have die-".
Bhommi screams before Maya could finish her sentence "Maya!!".
Maya gets stunned seeing Bhommi so furious and blinks in confusion.
'What did I do?'.
Bhommi grabs Maya's shoulders and shakes her vigorously "Have you lost your mind?! What were you about to wish for?!".
Maya darts her eyes in more confusion and shrugs in defense "I did not wish for-".
She stops in mid sentence and realizes what she had done!
'I almost wished my death?!'.
She asks with a frown "If I..did complete the sentence...I would have died?!".
Bhommi fumes "You have to control your mind and words, Sister Maya! Because..Yes! I am responsible for fulfilling whatever you wish for!!".
Maya gulps "Even if it was by a mistake?".
Bhommi states with same stern expression "Yes".
Maya whines in shock "Even if it is my death?!".
Bhommi blankly "Yes".
Maya protests "How can you?! You should think before what you grant!-".
Bhommi rebukes pointing Maya with same stubbornness "Then you must think before you ask! Be careful of what you ask for! Because you might get it!".
Maya "...".
Bhommi taunts "If you act in this way, then how could we even create The Forbidden Magic Spell?! If we make a small mistake, it will cost dire consequences!".
Maya only swallows hard hearing everything. She felt ..burdened.

While Maya was lost in thoughts, Bhommi just removed the sword roughly from Maya's thigh which Maya to scream her life out! She rolls in the ground curling herself in agony.
"I am going to kill you someday for this!".
Bhommi giggles throwing the sword away.

Kalki's chamber.
"Xander! You have to stop this! You can't seize Madam title from Lady Maya in this humiliating way!".
Xavier stands in front of Kalki and staring at him seriously.
'He might not have married Lady Maya but he can't treat her this way!'.
Kalki states calmly "I can't change this edict, Xavier. This was issued before weeks and we can't go back from our words now. The news have already spread all over the country. Cancelling this edict will only cause chaos in this situation. We recently suppressed the riots and we can't on our own wishes now".
Xavier walks to and fro in anxiety. He returned from The Southern Country just few hours back and now the news of seizing Maya's Madam title made Xavier more anxious.
Previously he was planning to visit Maya as he was concerned about her. After all the battle with riots happened in The Countryside Pavilion.
'Jesus Christ! She must be devastated hearing this news! I wonder if she is able to bear this humiliation! Even though she doesn't like to be a Royal, she wouldn't like to be treated in this way! And with her impulsive behaviour ...Only Christ knows what she would do in The Imperial Court!'.
Kalki asks with a visble smirk "Why do I feel something else from your restlessness?".
Xavier asks in disbelief "Why would you want to seize her Madam title, Xander?! She agreed to come here as your wedded wife even though you didn't marry her! What wrong she has done to be treated this way?!".
Kalki states calmly "I told you. This was an edict which I issued before weeks-".
'If I had known her skills in Archery before..I...'.
Xavier interupts "Still! You shouldn't have done this! What would The Emperor say?!".
Kalki frowns and hisses glaring at Xavier "He is our Father, Prince Xavier! Try to acknowledge your family instead of acknowledging a stranger's feeling!-".
"Enough Xander!".
Kalki frowns even harder seeing Xavier's anger and growls "What's making you so annoying, Xavier?".
