Chapter 2435 - 14: Pretending to Be a Scoundrel

"Finally managed to get out, how could we possibly go back? Let’s go to the courtyard Old Yu rented first."

"Where do you think you’re going? Just out for a stroll and I bump into two little beauties."

An abrupt and clearly ill-intentioned voice sounded, causing the master and servant to quickly look around.

But at first glance, they didn’t see anyone.

"Where are you looking? Over here!" A tall man stood atop a courtyard wall. As Mu Huaen and her servant looked over, the man jumped down from the wall.

Just by his swift actions, Mu Huaen could judge that the other party had some skills.

She herself wasn’t afraid of what the other party might do, but her maid Juan’er had some looks. She wondered how to deal with this rogue that had suddenly appeared.

The masked Ye Haoyang was annoyed seeing the two of them dumbstruck, so he taunted, "Don’t know how to run? Seems you really want to have some fun with me!"

"Yes, I want to play with you," Mu Huaen suddenly chuckled and took a step forward, one hand actively reaching out to the man’s arm, the other raising.

Ye Haoyang couldn’t help but be speechless, was she planning to scare him with her looks again?

But in the next instant, a cloud of powder was thrown at him, and he realized he had misunderstood.

"Stinking rogue, go to hell!"

Ye Haoyang was stunned in place, how long had it been since anyone called him a stinking rogue?

His eyes showed a hint of complexity.

"Juan’er, run!" Mu Huaen saw him frozen and turned with her maid to make an escape.

Of course, Ye Haoyang couldn’t let them escape and chased after them.

"Juan’er, run fast." Mu Huaen saw this and pushed away her maid but didn’t run herself, turning around to block Ye Haoyang, "Stinking rogue, I’ll fight you!"

While speaking, she rushed towards Ye Haoyang, removing her veil, hoping to make a move when he was startled by her.

But the person opposite was Ye Haoyang; how could he be scared by her?

"With those skinny arms and legs, you think you can fight me?" He clamped down on her hands that reached over with one hand and wrapped the other around her waist, "Hmph, I’m immune to all poisons, you think I’d fear your little tricks? But still, who would’ve known a young lady like you carries such vicious things."

"Stinking rogue, let go of me, did you see my face? Aren’t you afraid of getting nauseous?" Mu Huaen struggled hard. She wasn’t scared much; after all, looking at her face, any normal person would vomit.

"Let go of my lady!" The maid Juan’er was loyal; although her lady pushed her away, she wouldn’t really run away. Seeing Mu Huaen restrained, she raised her bundle and started hitting, "I’ll beat you, rogue, for bullying people, I’ll beat you to death."

She used her feet as well while wielding the bundle.

"Enough!" Seeing the master and servant causing such a scene, Ye Haoyang lost his mood to tease them and lifted the veil from his face, "Had enough? Where are you going this late at night?"

"Ye... Brother Ye Er?" Mu Huaen was dumbfounded; she never expected the rogue in front of her was an acquaintance.

"Not calling me a stinking rogue now?" Ye Haoyang patted his robes and glared at them, "Why wouldn’t you stay safely at home, insisting on running out? Do you really think your face can bluff everyone in the world?"

The more he thought, the angrier he got. It was fortunate he followed along, and luckily the area around Capital City was still relatively peaceful, or else who knows what might have happened to the master and servant running around at night.
