Chapter 807 - 788: I’m Not a Slut 99
Chapter 807 - 788: I’m Not a Slut 99
In the small living room, three people were seated.
A woman in an old-fashioned floral cotton shirt and blue fabric trousers.
Her hair was messy, her complexion sallow, her figure appeared particularly thin.
On one side, there was a beautiful young girl, but her eyes seemed slightly vacant.
Beside the girl sat a man in his thirties with a broken leg.
The man had a smile on his face, that kind of leering smile that was uncomfortable to see.
When he smiled, he revealed a mouthful of large yellow teeth.
His appearance wasn’t good either, a chubby round face, sparse eyebrows, small triangular eyes, but a large nose with some black spots on it.
He was grinning as he grabbed the girl’s hand, the other hand reaching over to touch her body.
"Come, let your brother touch, don’t be afraid..."
Wei Jiaming’s eyes reddened with anger. He took a few steps forward and kicked the man away: "Touch your own mother..."
Mr. Wei quickly pulled Wei Jiahui close, comforting her: "Huixi, don’t be afraid, Dad is here."
Wei Jiaming kicked the man again and again, almost kicking him to death.
The man was truly frightened: "Don’t hit, don’t hit, I’m here for a matchmaking visit."
"Matchmaking, my ass."
Wei Jiaming really started cursing in anger: "You’re damn harassing."
The man pointed to Mrs. Wei: "She asked me to, she told me to. I just followed her instructions."
Mrs. Wei now realized she was afraid too, curled up in the corner of the sofa, weakly saying: "I’m just doing this for Jiahui’s good; if she marries, someone will take care of her, and in the future, have a child..."
Mr. Wei was furious, letting go of Wei Jiahui and walking over, slapping Mrs. Wei hard on both cheeks, causing her face to swell with blood flowing from the corner of her mouth.
"I’m still alive, Jiaming is here, how could Jiahui be without anyone to care for her? Haven’t I told you countless times not to interfere with Jiahui’s affairs, with me and Jiaming here, she wouldn’t be wronged, and yet you... are you really her mother? Would a real mother harm her own daughter like this?"
The more Mr. Wei spoke, the angrier he got. He couldn’t hold back tears when he thought about the grievances he suffered for years because of Mrs. Wei, and the hardship the children endured following her.
"I’ve had enough, I want a divorce, this time no one can stop me, I’ll get a divorce no matter what."
Mrs. Wei originally wanted to jump up and fight with Mr. Wei, but when she heard about the divorce, her voice weakened: "No, I don’t want a divorce. Why divorce, I didn’t interfere with you associating with that fox spirit. We still have children, our son and daughter, what will happen to Jiaming and Jiahui if you divorce now? Jiaming is about to marry, and if you do this..."
Wei Jiaming sneered, coldly saying: "Divorce, I support the divorce. I have my wife’s support, she doesn’t care about these things, her family knows about our situation, not afraid."
When Mrs. Wei heard what Wei Jiaming said, she angrily cursed: "You unfilial brat, did your father bribe you, huh? There’s nothing good about you Wei family folks, Jiaming, I’m your mother, and this is how you treat your mother. What kind of kid wishes for their parents to divorce, you... if I knew you’d turn out like this, I should’ve strangled you at birth."
Wei Jiaming laughed in anger: "Why didn’t you strangle me? Let me tell you, from now on, I will take care of my sister, it’s best for you to stay away from her. Also, we’re done, I won’t come to see you again, whatever happens to you has nothing to do with me. When you lose the ability to work, I will deposit a pension into your account every month, besides that, I don’t want any further relations."
He was truly hurt by Mrs. Wei.
Regarding her treatment towards him, he could bear it, but today’s incident where Mrs. Wei brought someone to the house to sexually assault Wei Jiahui was unbearable for Wei Jiaming.
He half-carried and half-supported Wei Jiahui out.
Mrs. Wei wanted to chase after them, but Mr. Wei blocked her.
"I will file for a divorce in court, reflect on your own actions."
After he finished speaking, Mr. Wei gave her a push, knocking Mrs. Wei to the ground, then quickly walked a few steps to catch up with Wei Jiaming.
"Jiaming, I’m taking your mother to Aunt Shen’s place, let Song Song take good care of her."
Wei Jiaming nodded.
Even though he was brothers with Wei Jiahui, as a man, many things were not convenient for him to handle, but Song Song and Wei Jiahui grew up together, and she was at ease with Song Song around. He could trust leaving Wei Jiahui to Song Song.
Also, Wei Jiaming knew well that Mr. Wei was taking Wei Jiahui to Song Song to check if anything happened to her physically.
After getting downstairs, seeing Mr. Wei driving off with Wei Jiahui, he then drove back home.
It wasn’t long after he got home when Mr. Wei’s call came in.
"Don’t worry, Jiahui is fine."
Only then did Wei Jiaming let out a sigh of relief, his whole body relaxing.
Afterwards, he sat on the floor, leaned against the bed, and tears started rolling down his face.
The next day, as soon as Wei Jiaming woke up, he drove to the Jiang family.
Jiang Anan was at the bun shop at the time, not home. Mrs. Jiang was the only one at home tidying up.
Hearing the doorbell, Mrs. Jiang opened the door to see Wei Jiaming coming in with loads of packages. She smiled and handed him slippers: "Nannan isn’t home, why bring so much stuff..."
Wei Jiaming chuckled: "Got some supplements from outside for you and Uncle."
After placing the stuff down, Mrs. Jiang asked: "Have you had breakfast?"
Wei Jiaming hadn’t eaten yet, and Mrs. Jiang noticed: "Wait here, I’ll make you a bowl of noodles."
Mrs. Jiang went into the kitchen, and soon came out with a fragrant bowl of egg noodles.
Starving, Wei Jiaming gave his thanks and devoured it.
After eating, he explained his purpose: "Auntie, I’d like you to help me find out if anyone in this neighborhood is selling their house, I want to buy a place here."
Mrs. Jiang was surprised: "Why do you want to buy a house here? Doesn’t your family have many houses?"
Wei Jiaming laughed: "I just thought it’d be nice to live closer to you and Uncle after we get married. I believe Nannan will be more comfortable living here."
That made sense.
Anyway, the Wei family could afford it, and buying one more house wouldn’t make a difference. So, Mrs. Jiang said with a smile: "Okay, I’ll ask around for you."
Mrs. Jiang was proactive; she asked Wei Jiaming to wait at home while she went downstairs to have a look around.
In the small garden downstairs, lots of elderly folks were out for a walk. Having lived here for a while, Mrs. Jiang was familiar with them.
She went down and quickly mingled with them for a chat.
Coincidentally, someone in Jiang’s building was planning to sell their house.
The family had renovated their house but hadn’t moved in, and due to some family issues and their child staying in the Capital after graduating, they planned to buy a place there to get married, so they decided to sell this house to fund a purchase in the Capital.
Once Mrs. Jiang got the information, she quickly returned to tell Wei Jiaming.
Mrs. Jiang knew the family selling the house since they lived in the same building and often bumped into each other going up and down the stairs.
She took Wei Jiaming to their place downstairs, and when they arrived, someone was there. Mrs. Jiang knocked, and the homeowner opened the door, immediately greeting her when they saw familiar faces.
Then, Mrs. Jiang started discussing the house sale with the homeowner.
Wei Jiaming was paying in full, without needing a loan, and the other party urgently needed the money, so they were happy for a quick sale, plus, Wei Jiaming didn’t haggle over the price.
By the afternoon, both families went to the exchange, where Wei Jiaming pulled some strings to expedite the paperwork. All the paperwork was completed within the afternoon.
Now having a house here, Wei Jiaming felt a load off his mind.
Mrs. Jiang was particularly delighted.
She and Mr. Jiang lived in Anning’s house, with An Ping living upstairs, and An Nan downstairs. The three sisters being so close would make future help easier.
Moreover, it didn’t matter if they lived with any of their daughters in the future. With the three sisters being nearby, it would be easier for them to take care of their parents later on.
