Chapter 138: He’s In The Dog House!While the door was opened, Tanaga peeked inside first and looked if anyone else was there. When he was sure that there’s no else, he went straight in, and he started to open all the cubicles inside while calling her name.
"Ashley! Ashley! Ashley!" He checked all the cubicles one by one making sure she wasn’t there. He’s afraid that she might have passed out or something. However, after checking the whole place, there was no Ashley anywhere...- not even her shadow was in sight. Tanaga concluded that Ashley was nowhere inside the ladies’ room.
"Where did that woman go? Don’t tell me that she left already?" Tanaga mumbles to himself as his forehead wrinkled and eyebrows raised as high as the sky. His blood pressure shooting up high as he walked out of the door.
From the way he looks, If other people could see him at the moment, they would think he has lost some marbles because he keeps on talking to himself. "What did I do now for her to run and leave me without saying goodbye? Women I swear’, it’s tough to understand!"
When Alden saw that Tanaga was alone, he breathed a sigh of relief for whatever reason. "Is everything alright? It seems that your girlfriend wasn’t inside the bathroom?" Alden asked curiously.
"I don’t even know where that girl runs off. I swear I have a hard time understanding her! They would say that they are going to the bathroom, and then suddenly disappear like bubbles. Anyway, for your information, It wasn’t a girlfriend that I was looking for. Nevertheless, let me go ahead, just in case she’s outside waiting for me." Tanaga leaves as if his demon is pursuing him.
Alden was thrilled when he heard Tanaga say it wasn’t a girlfriend he was looking for. " So’ even if ... it turns out that it’s the same person this Ashley... that CEO Jones was
" What? Ah ’yes and no! I’m not sure, to be honest with you. All right! If you don’t need me for anything else, I’ll get going, for I still have a lot of work to finish." Alden said to finish the conversation.
Alden wanted to leave so he could return to their GM’s office so he could call Tanaga’s office and ask for an appointment. If Ashley is, in fact, Tanaga’s assistant, it means she will be the one answering the call and will speak to him.
Unfortunately, there was no one in Tanaga’s office. Since Tanaga went home early, Sato dismissed all the Junior secretaries and followed afterward.
Therefore, the one that answered his call was the operator and only transferred him to a voicemail.
Alden decided to postpone what he was planning on doing, and he didn’t bother leaving a message on the machine. He plans on going there first thing in the morning. He would go there personally at Tanaga’s office. That way, he could find out if he was right with his suspicion.

Meanwhile, Tanaga was furious with all of his bodyguards when he found out that Ashley told them that she was leaving first with Tiny, for she’s not feeling well. Everyone thought that Tanaga knew when she left, so they didn’t bother informing him.
Tanaga was about to explode because he knows that she’s going home to his grandmother’s mansion and that she is angry when she left without saying goodbye to him... Therefore, there’s only one conclusion that came in mind... He would be in the dog house for sure...
