Chapter 761: Investigate Summer Monroe
Chapter 761: Investigate Summer Monroe
"Get lost!"
Aaron disgustedly shoved away the woman rubbing against him, quickly striding out of the villa amidst her panic-stricken confusion.
However, just as he was about to step out of the villa, a "click" sound resonated— the sound of a gun’s safety being disengaged.
Aaron immediately looked in the direction of the sound.
A bodyguard was aiming a gun at him.
Aaron’s light blue eyes suddenly narrowed, shooting forth a piercing cold light like an ice pick toward the other party.
But the bodyguard was well-trained, calm and composed, speaking mechanically as if used to Aaron’s gaze: "Young master, Sir has said, you cannot leave the villa."
It was the Nth time Aaron was obstructed by bodyguards, and he spoke intolerably, "What if I insist on stepping out today?"
"Then I’ll have to follow Sir’s orders and forcibly keep you here." The bodyguard replied.
Aaron scoffed and said, "I’m determined to leave today!"
With that, he stepped forward directly.
The next moment, his footsteps stepped out of the villa.
"Bang—" a gunshot rang out.
By reflex, Aaron swiftly moved a step to the left, his speed creating a blur of his figure.
In an instant, a hole was made in the door behind him.
This position...
Aaron believed that had his reaction not been swift enough, his heart would have been hit accurately.
"Are you insane?!" Aaron looked at the bodyguard, "Do you know who you’re firing at??"
The bodyguard spoke again mechanically, "Sir ordered, before his cooperation with the Duke is finalized, whether alive or dead, you must stay in the villa and not step out. Young master, you should step back."
"You... you..." Aaron was trembling with rage.
Just then, the bodyguard’s eyes suddenly froze, and he put down the gun, turned, and respectfully bowed to the approaching middle-aged man: "Sir."
The other bodyguards followed suit, bowing in unison and chanting: "King."
Aaron looked up in astonishment, seeing a man with a proud stature and a dignified air approaching.
Although the man was middle-aged, his facial contours showed no slackness, his features were exceedingly handsome, exuding the charm and majesty of a mature man.
Aaron’s demeanor immediately weakened, reluctantly bowing to the man: "Father."
He detested his father but also feared him.
The man nodded imperceptibly, spoke little, and tossed a document to him.
Aaron quickly caught it.
The man spoke calmly, "You want to go out, don’t you? I’ll give you a chance; help me investigate the woman in the document."
Upon hearing he could leave, Aaron hastily checked the document on his phone.
The first page of the document surprisingly showed a photo of "his exotic kitten."
For some unknown reason, as soon as he saw this kitten, he felt destined to be with her.
Maybe this is fate.
Aaron looked at his father in astonishment, questioned incomprehensibly, "Father, why do you want me to investigate her? Is it because of the last cruise ship explosion?"
The man strangely furrowed his brows, asked, "What cruise explosion?"
Aaron was even more surprised.
"You don’t know about the cruise explosion, then why investigate her?"
"That’s not for you to worry about." The man impatiently furrowed his brows, saying, "After finding her, find a way to get her DNA, and also that man’s DNA. As for other matters concerning this girl, investigate everything thoroughly."
