The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day

Chapter 252: Do You Like Me

Chapter 252: Do You Like Me

"You..." Summer Monroe felt unsatisfied, but she had indeed promised Damian Knight that as long as he wanted to eat, she would keep cooking for him.

There was no other way, Summer could only get out of the car, under Damian’s gaze, dragging her tired body to follow him into the villa.

What surprised Summer a bit was that the villa looked very luxurious from the outside, but inside, the decor could only be described as "simple".

The room was uniformly black, even the walls were covered in dark tiles.

The hard furnishings were already this simple, and even the soft furnishings were uniformly black. In the living room, apart from the basic living furniture, there was nothing else, not even a single-seat sofa. The villa was so empty it was a bit scary.

"Does anyone actually live here?" Summer couldn’t help but ask.

Damian responded with an "Hmm", saying, "When I’m not at the estate, I stay here."

Summer was shocked, someone lives here, and it’s still this simply furnished?

Damian seemed to see her confusion and said, "This is my own place, I don’t want anyone disturbing me. The simple decor makes it easier to clean."

So, to prevent others from coming in, he didn’t even hire a cleaning lady?

The next moment, with a sudden topic change, he said, "You’re the first guest here besides those three guys from the Knight Group."

Summer couldn’t help but twitch her lips, "I’ve noticed you seem a bit antisocial."

"Maybe." Damian pointed towards the kitchen fridge, "The ingredients are all there."

It dawned on Summer that she wasn’t here to visit, sighed, and walked towards the kitchen.

But when she opened the fridge door, Summer was stunned.

Summer opened the fridge door and found there was nothing in the fresh food section, just two eggs.

Just two eggs, how was she supposed to make dumplings?

Did Damian overestimate her? She could only make dumplings, not conjure them out of thin air.

Summer was about to ask Damian if he hadn’t bought any groceries when she heard Damian’s voice coming from outside: "The stuff is in the freezer."

Summer suddenly realized, and opened the freezer door.

Inside, there were several bags of Knight Group’s frozen dumplings quietly lying there.

She rummaged through and found that besides the frozen dumplings, there was nothing else.

So, Damian just wanted her to help cook them? This simple thing, he couldn’t do it himself?

Damian’s voice came from behind her, "This batch of dumplings is a new product not yet on the market. After you cook them, try them out. If the taste isn’t good, we’ll hold off on launching them."

Summer was dumbfounded for a moment, then turned to see Damian standing behind her at some point, hesitantly asked, "You’re not asking me here just to eat dumplings, are you?"

After all, something like cooking dumplings only requires hands; there was no need to specifically call her over.

Was Damian worried she’d be hungry, so he called her here?

But now that she thought about it, she really hadn’t eaten much all day and was actually a bit hungry.

However, the next moment, she heard Damian speak coldly, "Nice try, I want you to give some opinions since you’re good at making dumplings."

Summer felt a speechless frustration: "..."

Why was she being so self-centered again?!

Was Damian the kind of considerate guy? Even if he was considerate, it wouldn’t be towards her, a friend, but rather his beloved one.

What was she even thinking?

Damian urged, "What are you spacing out for? Start cooking already! I’m hungry. Cook a few of each, and after eating, give me your feedback. If you don’t have any reasonable suggestions, you won’t be leaving tonight."

Summer was so annoyed she ground her teeth, glaring at Damian, "Don’t you think acting like this will make it hard for you to find a girlfriend in the future?"
