Chapter 446: Chapter 447: And You, Have You Missed Me?

"Stop eavesdropping, or Sixth Master will punish you if he finds out."

"Shhh..."

Vivian Abbey came over and pulled her. "Let’s go..."

"I want to listen..."

"Eavesdropping like this is just too embarrassing."

"Oh, come on. If you don’t say anything, and I don’t say anything, who’s going to know?"

Vivian Abbey was completely at her wit’s end with this girl. This habit of eavesdropping was a sickness; it needed to be cured!

Aiden Howard walked over, grabbed Tessa Harrington’s collar as if she were a little chick, and lifted her up. Aiden laughed as he watched her flailing limbs.

"How dare you listen in on Sixth Master? Are you tired of living?"

Tessa, who had been about to scold the person ruining her fun, wilted when she saw Aiden. This was not a man she could afford to provoke.

"Easy there, hero. HA HA... I just wanted to hear if Sixth Master needed tea or snacks, you know?"

Aiden didn’t say a word.

Tessa then lied through her teeth, "Oh dear, look at Sixth Master, so travel-worn from coming to see our President Johnson. He must have suffered so much. He probably hasn’t even eaten..."

"Your President Johnson? Watch your words. President Johnson isn’t yours; he belongs to Sixth Master!"

"SMACK! Oh, this mouth of mine... I spoke nonsense!" Tessa pretended to slap herself. "Sixth Master’s President Johnson." She giggled. "President Johnson belongs to Sixth Master!"

Aiden still just looked at her.

"So, hero, can you put me down now?"

Aiden didn’t move. "I want some tea and snacks. Go get them for me." He set her down. Unable to provoke Aiden, Tessa scurried off to pour him tea and fetch snacks.

This girl, she bullies the weak and fears the strong! Vivian Abbey fumed inwardly.

"Vivian, how have you gained weight again recently?"

Vivian felt a pang. "Where did I gain weight?"

"There’s a bit more meat on your backside..." Aiden liked curvaceous women and was speechless at how Oriental women pursued such bony figures.

A woman with more flesh felt better to the touch. What were Oriental men thinking? Cuddling a bag of bones during intimacy would only lessen the pleasure, wouldn’t it?

Aiden’s gaze landed hotly on Vivian Abbey’s rear, making her face flush slightly. She found an excuse, saying, "Mr. Howard, I have other things to do. Please make yourself comfortable!"

"Sure." Aiden’s eyes glinted ambiguously as he watched Vivian. Maintaining a prim, abstinent expression like an old maid, she quickly fled from Aiden’s scorching gaze.

"Ah, I’d really love to get you into bed," Aiden murmured to himself after she left, making no effort to hide his desire. But this wasn’t a woman he could trifle with, not unless he wanted to get married and be tied down. Besides, Vivian Abbey was an Oriental woman; if he married her, he couldn’t sleep around with other women anymore.

Oriental monogamy was just so inhumane.

"Hey, hey, are you actually interested in Vivian?" Tessa Harrington asked conspiratorially.

Aiden leaned towards Tessa. "I’m interested in you. How about we get a room tonight?"

Tessa clutched her chest with both hands and backed away. "Mister, don’t scare me. I’m still underage."

Aiden’s gaze swept across Tessa’s chest. "With a chest like that, if you’re underage, then I’m still in primary school!"

Tessa giggled. "Exactly! So, Uncle, please be merciful and don’t crush this tender flower of our nation."

"Relax, I’m not interested in your body type!"

"Hey, hey, are you really into Vivian?"

"Want to know?"

"Yes!"

"Give me a kiss, and I’ll tell you." Aiden teased the young girl, looking at her puffed-up cheeks, which reminded him of his own little niece.

"Mr. Howard, with your playboy ways, no good woman will ever like you. At least Vivian won’t," Tessa said seriously.

"A good woman? What do I need a good woman for? As long as she’s usable down there, that’s enough."

Adrian Desmond suddenly emerged. Tessa immediately snapped to attention, her face serious. "Six... Si-Sixth Master..."

"HMM." Adrian Desmond responded nonchalantly, his gaze sweeping over Aiden and Tessa. Tessa felt a chill run down her spine under his stare and quickly lowered her head.

Aiden explained, "Don’t worry, Sixth Master. I won’t touch any of Madam’s attendants."

"Someone sent me a few beauties this time. Go pick some out. If you like them, you can have them all."

"Then I thank you, Sixth Master." Following Adrian Desmond always came with such perks, which usually ended up benefiting him.

Aiden’s unwavering loyalty to Adrian Desmond was inextricably linked to these kinds of benefits.

Adrian walked away, and Tessa’s gossipy nature flared up. "What’s Sixth Master up to? They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, hotter than a honeymoon! Shouldn’t it be like tinder and flame, igniting at a touch? So why did he just leave? Don’t tell me President Johnson kicked him out?"

"Were you eavesdropping just now, hoping to hear Sixth Master and Madam getting passionate? Heh... no need to go to such lengths. If you’re into that sort of thing, I’ll let you watch *me* for free next time. No charge."

Adrian Desmond walked back over, holding a mug that Tessa recognized as Sienna Johnson’s. Tessa realized he must have gone to get water for President Johnson.

"Are you two very idle? What are you doing loitering here?"

"Um, Sixth Master, President Johnson has been fond of lemon water with honey lately. Did you put honey in it?" Tessa asked.

"No."

"Then let me go get some honey for you."

"No need. I’ll do it myself. You two can go about your business," Adrian dismissed them like a couple of loiterers.

"Yes, Sixth Master. I’ll take this little third wheel away for you now." Aiden grabbed Tessa’s arm and led away the girl who had clearly become an eyesore to Sixth Master.

"OW! OW! That hurts! Be gentle."

"Don’t cry out like that. Anyone who didn’t know better would think I was actually doing something to you."

That rogue! How could he think such things!

A glass of lemon water was placed in front of Sienna Johnson. Assuming it was Tessa or Vivian, she didn’t pay it much mind, picked it up, took a sip, and frowned.

"How much honey did you put in this? It’s too sweet..." She looked up and met a pair of familiar eyes.

"Did you miss me?"

Sienna hadn’t expected to see Adrian Desmond so suddenly under these circumstances and was momentarily stunned.

"You woman, your heart is like a stone. I’ve only been gone a few days, and it’s already grown cold..." He pinched her chin, forcing her to look up at him.

He had missed this face, dreamed of it.

Sienna, however, was thinking about his unusual behavior before he left, and how he hadn’t sent a single text or made a single call in all the days he’d been gone. She couldn’t help but feel a surge of anger.

"Well, did you miss me?" she retorted.

"What do you think?"

Adrian expressed his feelings with actions. He clasped her waist and kissed her hungrily, his tongue plunging into her mouth, dueling with hers. His rich, domineering aura pressed down on her with irresistible force.
