Chapter 375: Chapter 376: Drowning to Death

"Ah, I don’t know what’s going on lately; the Stewart family has been dealing with one issue after another..." Alana Harris felt her spirits sink as she looked at her son and husband, who wore worried expressions every day.

"Mom, don’t worry too much. Dad and Frederick are so capable; they’ll definitely be fine."

Alana Harris looked at Sabrina Johnson, a hint of fondness appearing. "Our Sabrina here really knows what to say. Look, I feel better already just hearing you speak. You’re right, your dad and Frederick are so capable; they’ll definitely be fine."

"Mom, when Frederick is done with his work, let’s take a break as a family... Mom, where would you like to go?"

"I’m old. You young people go have fun. I’d just be a bother if I went."

Young people nowadays often don’t like to take the elderly along for fun. Hearing Sabrina’s words, Alana’s heart filled with joy.

"Who says? I’d love to go out with Mom. Frederick will be overjoyed to know you’re going."

"Really?"

"Of course, it’s true."

Sabrina Johnson’s sweet words made Alana Harris beam, the unhappiness Sissi had caused momentarily forgotten.

"Okay then, when Frederick isn’t busy, our family will go on a trip together."

"Good."

"Sabrina, eat slowly. I have an appointment with Mrs. Jones."

"Mom, you go ahead. I can take care of myself. Don’t worry."

After Alana Harris left, the smile on Sabrina’s face vanished. She stared coldly at the pork rib soup in the bowl. Then, with a flick of her hand, she sent the bone ceramic bowl crashing to the ground.

"...Ah, what happened?" The servant heard the noise, ran over, and saw the shattered bowl on the floor.

Sabrina wiped the corners of her mouth with a napkin and said calmly, "It’s nothing. My hand slipped, and I accidentally knocked it over."

"Oh, let me clean it up. You sit down and don’t move."

Sabrina’s phone rang. It was a call from Master Leland, but she didn’t answer. After one call, Leland stopped. He then sent a text message: "Sissi is in my hands. I know you’re still angry. Come teach her a lesson and blow off some steam."

It had to be said, Leland had a knack for understanding people. Sabrina wasn’t one to take a loss lying down. Although she had exposed Sissi’s scheme, Sabrina hadn’t forgotten the humiliation Sissi had put her through.

"Where are you?"

"Champagne Coast, Building 18, Unit 2, Room 1021."

"I’m coming now."

"I’ll have the Driver pick you up."

"No need!"

Sabrina didn’t want many people to know about her relationship with Master Leland. If possible, she hoped he would stop pestering her. She would make things clear when they met today.

Champagne Coast was a seaside residential development. Its remote location meant the occupancy rate wasn’t high. Sabrina found the address. Upon entering, she saw a woman tied up on the living room floor—it was Sissi.

When Sissi saw Sabrina, her eyes filled with fear. She whimpered, trying to speak, but her mouth was gagged, and no words came out.

"You’re here..." Master Leland greeted her.

Sabrina ignored Master Leland and walked towards Sissi, her teeth clenched. "How did you fall so low? Weren’t you insufferably arrogant at the mother and baby store? I actually thought Frederick would marry you..."

Sissi shook her head, staring at Sabrina in horror.

Sabrina removed the towel gagging Sissi. Sissi could finally speak: "Mrs. Stewart, I know I was wrong! I’ll never dare to do it again! Please, beg Master Leland to let me go!"

"..."

She sobbed, "Please, I’m begging you."

Sabrina looked at the wretched woman, a sense of satisfaction blooming in her heart. She taunted Sissi, "Kneel and lick my shoes. Then I might consider letting you go."

Sissi hesitated. Sabrina pressed, "What? Unwilling?"

"I’ll lick them! I’ll lick them!"

Sabrina might not know how formidable Master Leland was, but Sissi certainly did. She wasn’t afraid of Sabrina, but she was terrified of Master Leland.

In Sabrina’s hands, she might still have a chance to live. But in Master Leland’s, survival was impossible.

Just as Sissi knelt to lick Sabrina’s leather shoes, Sabrina sidestepped her. "Get lost! As if I’d let you lick them. You disgust me!"

"Mrs. Stewart, I’m shameless! I deserve to die! Please, forgive me! I promise to leave Sileria City immediately and never appear before you again..." Sissi slapped her own face repeatedly, hoping Sabrina would vent her anger and spare her life.

"Let me see that little bastard in your belly!"

Sabrina kicked Sissi in the stomach. Sissi screamed, but one of Master Leland’s men quickly gagged her again with a towel. She could only whimper, unable to cry out for help.

Sissi’s face was deathly pale as she pleaded with Sabrina with her eyes. Sabrina didn’t even glance at her, continuing to kick at the child in Sissi’s womb.

Because of this child, she had endured so much humiliation. Sabrina’s only thought was to destroy it.

She lived by a simple rule: anyone who made her suffer would suffer in return.

Sissi struggled and whimpered at first, but then she went still. It was only when the heavy scent of blood filled the air that Sabrina snapped back to her senses.

Her gaze fell to Sissi’s lower body. Something was flowing out from between her legs. That was... Sabrina screamed. Master Leland pulled her into his arms, gently soothing her.

"Sabrina, don’t be afraid. It’s alright."

"I killed someone! I killed someone..."

"She had an accidental miscarriage. It has nothing to do with you." Master Leland then turned to his subordinates. "What are you standing there for? Get this woman out of here, now!"

"Yes, Master Leland!"

The scene was quickly cleaned up. Sabrina, however, was still in shock, completely forgetting she was nestled in the arms of the man she despised most.

"Will she... die?"

"That will depend on how lucky she is," Master Leland said cruelly.

"And me? Will I go to prison?"

"How could I bear to let you go to prison?"

"But..."

"Relax. No matter what you do, I’ll be here to clean up the mess." Master Leland looked at Sabrina with doting eyes, his gaze making her feel as if what she’d just done was insignificant.

"I’m a little scared..."

"You’re still not ruthless enough. When dealing with those who’ve hurt you, showing mercy is tantamount to hurting yourself."

"..."

"Sabrina, you need to be stronger. From now on, if anyone dares to cross you, you must retaliate fiercely, so they never dare provoke you again..."

"Come, I’ll take you for a walk. The sea here isn’t developed, but it’s very beautiful. You’ll like it."

In a building across the street, two women watched Sabrina and Master Leland leave. They lowered their camera and sank to the floor, gasping for breath, thoroughly shaken by the scene they had just witnessed.
