Chapter 357: Chapter 358: My Wife Is Too Strong-willed

"I’ve always wanted to please you, but I’ve realized I just can’t understand you. Take this time, for instance. I knew you’ve been wanting to deal with the Stewart family, so I stepped in to help, but you didn’t appreciate it. I’ve found that no matter what I do, you’re never pleased."

"Or... is it not that you don’t want help, but that you just don’t want *my* help? If it were Noah Phillips, would you readily accept it?"

Sienna Johnson quickly explained, "Adrian, I do appreciate it! I am happy! I know you’re doing this for my own good. All these years, I’ve been so, so tired on my own. Your shoulders are broad and strong, and I feel so secure leaning on them... But I want to face everything myself. I just need you to be there for me to lean on when I’m tired..."

"Adrian, do you understand?"

Sienna, afraid Adrian would overthink things, walked over and hugged him from behind. Her face pressed against his back, and she relaxed completely. "Just holding you like this makes me feel secure," she murmured. "This is enough."

He could tell her feelings were stirred. "Actually," he said, "you could make more use of me. It’s better than not using me at all, right?"

"There will be times when I need your help, just not right now." Seeing he wasn’t truly angry, Sienna relaxed and joked, "Sixth Master is so formidable. Of course, his great talents can’t be wasted on trivialities; they must be reserved for crucial moments."

"I’m always ready. Don’t hesitate to use me whenever you want."

"You’re my husband. Why would I be polite?"

"So, should I tell Morris to stop?"

"No need. I want to see what trump cards the Stewart family has."

"Alright, whatever you say."

Sienna hugged Adrian, closed her eyes, and said, "Adrian, thank you."

"Words are cheap. Show me some real action."

"Tonight," she whispered, her face flushing.

"Good. I’ll wash up and wait for you."

Sienna gently tapped him, deciding to ignore his teasing. "It’s time for work; I should go back. And remember, no spying on me with binoculars, or I’ll make sure you can only look but never touch."

The threat was undeniably effective. Adrian pulled her back into his arms, lifting her onto the windowsill. His dark eyes smoldered with an intensity Sienna feared most—that predatory gaze.

"Stop fooling around! It’s broad daylight."

"It’s not like we haven’t done it in the daytime before."

"That time in your office... have you forgotten?"

Sienna averted her gaze, her face crimson. Adrian couldn’t resist leaning in and nipping her fair skin, leaving a faint row of teeth marks.

"That time was different..."

She remembered standing him up then, infuriating him. She’d had no choice but to use *that* method to appease his anger.

"How is it different? I’m very angry this time too... I went out of my way to help you, and you didn’t appreciate it. Tell me, since you’ve disregarded my kindness, how should I punish you?"

Sienna wrapped her legs around his waist and gave him a deep kiss. "Satisfied now?"

"Not enough!"

Sienna threatened, "If we do it now, then nothing tonight. I have to be at work in fifteen minutes, which means you only have ten."

Ten minutes is nowhere near enough!

「At the Stewart residence,」

"Frederick Stewart, how could you let that slut get pregnant? How could you do this to me? Frederick, I hate you! I hate you to death!"

Sissi was pregnant. Frederick Stewart had come for a showdown, telling Sabrina Johnson he wanted Sissi to give birth to the child, and for Sabrina to then raise it. Sabrina completely broke down. If she hadn’t loved Frederick, it might have been bearable. But she did love him; that was why she had schemed against Sienna Johnson back then, taking her place to marry him.

How could she possibly be willing to raise Frederick Stewart’s illegitimate child?

"Frederick Stewart, let me tell you, I will never allow that illegitimate child into this family! Since he dares to be born, then he should be prepared to be a bastard his entire life!"

"Sabrina Johnson, you’re no longer the esteemed Miss Johnson of the Johnson family. They won’t even let you through their doors anymore. Sienna Johnson didn’t invite you to her wedding this time, nor did she invite the Stewart family. Now, the Stewart family has become a laughingstock. And it’s all thanks to you. If you dare cause any more trouble, I’ll divorce you immediately and throw you out!"

"Frederick Stewart, you bastard!" Sabrina Johnson cast aside her ladylike demeanor and lunged at Frederick Stewart, attacking him like a shrew.

"What do you think you’re doing, acting like a shrew?!" It was the first time Frederick Stewart had seen Sabrina Johnson lose control like this. He couldn’t dodge in time, and her sharp nails scratched his face.

"You shrew!"

"A shrew? Haha! If I’m a shrew, it’s you who forced me to become one!"

Back when she snatched Sienna Johnson’s fiancé, she had flaunted it triumphantly, only for Sienna to act completely indifferent. In fact, Sienna had thanked her for taking a scumbag off her hands. At the time, Sabrina had thought Sienna was just forcing a smile, never imagining that woman had already seen Frederick Stewart’s true colors.

"Don’t think I’ve wronged you. We’ve been married for so many years, and you haven’t even borne me a daughter, let alone a son. I’m the sole heir of the Stewart family! Do you want our family line to die out with me?"

Once a man’s heart changes, his expression becomes truly vicious and terrifying.

Sabrina Johnson stared at the cold, heartless expression on the man before her. A chill of fear ran through her; he seemed like a complete stranger.

"Frederick Stewart, you should know why I can’t have children, shouldn’t you? We had a child once. If that child had been born, they would be eight years old by now," Sabrina Johnson stated, her voice like ice.

Frederick Stewart frowned. "What’s the point of bringing that up? The fact is, you can’t have children now..."

"I understand now!" A resolute glint flashed in Sabrina Johnson’s eyes. Since this man is so callous, he can’t blame me for being cruel in return.

"Where are you going?"

"Shopping, salon appointments, pampering myself..."

"Apart from shopping and going to the salon, what else are you good for?" Frederick Stewart grumbled, dissatisfied.

Sabrina Johnson stopped in her tracks. A smile touched her lips, but her eyes were filled with scorn. "A man whose heart has changed is truly terrifying. Before I married you, you promised that if I became your wife, I could live like a grand madam, doing nothing and wanting for nothing, just enjoying life. And now? Now you despise me, claiming I’m not as capable at making money as Sienna Johnson?"

"Frederick Stewart, I distinctly remember you saying Sienna Johnson was unladylike, always making public appearances, utterly improper."

Frederick Stewart had no desire to speak with her further. He waved his hand dismissively. "Just go shopping then." With that, he turned and descended the stairs, not even sparing her a glance.

They passed each other, and he showed no sign of lingering affection.

Sabrina Johnson remembered a time back in high school. It had been raining heavily, and all the other students had left. She was alone in the classroom when Frederick Stewart suddenly appeared... They had embraced and kissed in the back of that classroom. She had given him her precious first time there.

"Frederick Stewart, you will pay for this!" Sabrina Johnson stood at the top of the stairs, her voice a venomous curse.
