Chapter 399 - 400: The Turbulent Night
Chapter 399 - 400: The Turbulent Night
"Hey, are you frigid or something?"
"Go to sleep!"
"Now I really can’t sleep."
"If you can’t sleep, go out for a run!"
"..."
"Stop fidgeting..."
"I just want to touch you. You’re my wife, can’t I even do that?"
"Just one more month, okay?"
Sienna Johnson first made an empty promise to appease this restless man. One month was out of the question, never mind two. This pregnancy was a high-risk one for her; she absolutely would not do anything during it that could harm the fetus.
"Alright, I’ll let you off the hook this time. I’ll put up with you for one more month..."
Adrian Desmond gave her a firm kiss, then let go. He heard the woman beside him let out a long sigh. Hearing it, Adrian smirked in the dark. He was just teasing her, and she actually took it seriously.
At the Leland Family’s residence, the night was deep. Everyone in the Leland household was asleep. In Cynthia Leland’s bedroom, on the large bed, a man and a woman were locked in passionate combat... The battle was incredibly fierce.
"Faster, go faster..."
"..."
"AH..."
Aiden Howard pulled off Cynthia Leland, his muscular skin glistening with sweat. He lit a cigarette, blew a smoke ring, and asked, "Want one?"
"Give me one."
Cynthia sat up. Aiden took the half-smoked cigarette from his lips and placed it in hers. He then lit another for himself, and they took a moment to relax.
Cynthia Leland looked at Aiden Howard with satisfaction. "I never knew you were so skilled in bed."
"If you can take it, we can go a few more rounds."
Cynthia laughed. "I’ve never met a man as fascinating as you."
Aiden looked at the sultry woman beside him, his gaze lingering on her large breasts. He smiled suggestively. "You’re not bad yourself, very adventurous in bed. Let’s meet up again sometime; I’d like to have a few more rounds with you."
"Alright..."
Cynthia straddled him and began to move again.
"What’s your relationship with Adrian Desmond?"
"He’s my boss, more or less."
"What kind of women does he like?"
Aiden’s dark eyes stared at the woman trying to pry information from him. This hussy really thought too highly of herself, believing her looks could entice any man. Sienna Johnson was far prettier, yet she wasn’t nearly as conceited.
"The kind like Sienna Johnson, of course!"
"That Sienna Johnson woman might be beautiful, but I bet she’s incredibly dull in bed... How can Adrian Desmond stand her?"
"As for what happens in bed, well, that I wouldn’t know."
"...Actually, I don’t insist on Adrian Desmond divorcing Sienna Johnson. I’m not interested in marriage. You only live once. I just want to live it up and have as much fun as possible. If I like you, I’ll be with you. If I don’t, we part ways..."
Aiden understood. "So you’re looking to become our Sixth Master’s lover?"
Cynthia smiled and shifted her position, guiding him inside her.
"Can you help me? Just once, and Adrian Desmond will be inseparable from me..." Cynthia thoroughly understood men’s base desires and was also very confident in her own skills. That Sienna Johnson might be beautiful, but she looks like such a boring person. I refuse to believe I can’t seduce Adrian Desmond!
Aiden suddenly lost all interest. He pushed Cynthia away and began to dress.
Cynthia, not yet satisfied and resentful at his abrupt rejection, asked, "You’re leaving?"
"Suddenly lost interest."
"Weren’t you enjoying yourself with me?"
Aiden finished dressing, a cigarette still dangling from his lips, every inch the bad boy. He took a drag and said, "Sixth Master is a germaphobe. He won’t touch a woman another man has already touched!"
"..."
"You’d better give up that notion, and fast!"
"That Sienna Johnson had several men, didn’t she? And there was Kenneth Brown; they almost got married. Sixth Master still married her... You’re truly shameless! I let you sleep with me for free, just asking you to tell me a few things about Sixth Master, and you still refuse."
"If you were Sienna Johnson, none of this would be an issue. But alas, you’re not! ...Still, since you kept me satisfied all night, I’ll give you a piece of advice: don’t mess with Sixth Master. He’s not someone you can afford to provoke!"
It was rare for Aiden to show such benevolence, but Cynthia paid no heed whatsoever. She stretched her long legs and declared confidently, "The more you say that, the more determined I am to have Adrian Desmond..."
"..."
"I’ve never failed to get any man I’ve ever wanted."
Having had his fill, Aiden no longer had any interest in Cynthia. Adrian Desmond was nothing like him. Aiden wasn’t picky; as long as it was a woman with a hole, she would do to satisfy his needs.
He walked to the window, vaulted over the sill, and left the Leland residence.
When Aiden Howard returned, Aaron Faber was still coding. Those lines of code made his head ache.
"Still not sleeping?"
"Can’t you finish your... business... outside, shower, and then come back?" Aaron had caught the reek of Aiden from afar—the mingled scents after sex—and found it thoroughly unpleasant.
"You coop yourself up here coding all day. Don’t you think it’s a waste of your youth? You’re 27 and still a virgin. It’s downright shameful!"
"I’m different from you. For that kind of thing, I need both emotional and physical connection to find true pleasure."
"You’ve never tried it, so you don’t know what it’s like. When there’s a chance, your big brother here will take you out to get initiated, and then you’ll understand its wonders."
Aaron’s expression remained impassive. He stated coldly, "I’m not an animal, content with any female that comes along! If I can’t find a woman who truly stirs my heart, I’d rather remain a monk for life!"
Aiden walked closer. Aaron reacted sharply, turning his head and exclaiming, "You stink! Keep your distance!"
"So particular!"
Aiden went to take a shower. By the time he came out, Aaron had just finished his work, shut down his computer, and was heading to bed.
Adrian Desmond’s men were now staying at the Johnson Family’s estate. They occupied the outer courtyard, while the Johnson family lived in the inner courtyard, so the two groups generally had little interaction.
"Who was the woman you met today? The ’battle’ seems to have been quite fierce."
Aiden’s back was covered in a woman’s scratches, and there was even a bite mark on his chest. He’d apparently noticed them himself while showering.
"Cynthia Leland!"
Aaron’s gaze turned icy. "How did you get entangled with Cynthia Leland?"
"Just a fling, satisfying mutual needs," Aiden said nonchalantly.
"You should be aware that Sixth Master and the Lelands are currently rivals. You’re hooking up with the daughter of Sixth Master’s rival. What exactly are you playing at?"
Aiden scoffed. "What are you implying?"
"Don’t forget who you are!"
Aiden roared with laughter. "...You don’t actually think I’ve been so charmed by that woman, Cynthia Leland, that I’d leak Sixth Master’s information, do you?"
