The Alpha Prince's Redemption

Familiar Scents

Familiar Scents

Nalya

"Yes,"

"Tell me about him," she insisted.

" I have never seen a sexier man than him. He was perfectly tall with ripped muscles, a clean-shaven face, and those ocean blue glaring eyes." I told Kiyana everything about Rhaegar, from how we met to how we ended up here, but I was careful not to mention werewolves.

"You love him," she whispered. I thought long and hard. I did love him. I still do.

"So you've never been with anyone else?" she asked.

"Never,"

"Then how will you know what you like when you have one flavor, Nalya!" she was shocked.

"Everything we did is what I like," I told her. She sat straight and put her palm under her chin.

"I like hearing you talk about sex... Tell me more," she nudged me, and I shook my head.

"No, that's enough,"

I said, playing back the movie. "Argh!" She screamed in my face, and I laughed.

We spent the weekend watching movies and trying to cook different recipes.

To our dismay, Monday came, and we were fully booked.

"Dora, table six wants dessert, he's angry!"

"Coming right up!"

"The kids on table ten want milkshakes, one banana, vanilla, and strawberry flavor!"

"It's done, Kiya, can you take it?!"

"No, I'll spank one of them. These kids are testing my patience and their parents are just -"

Before Kiyana could finish her sentence, Van and Frank came in a hurry. We all turned to them, surprised. They were excited.

"What's going on?!"

"We are closing up now. Some people booked the whole place and are paying a lot," the manager announced. He went to talk to the chef.

"But we have customers!" I said.

"Well, I'll make up something. I can't pass on this chance,"

"Are we catering for a private event? Why is this so urgent?!" Kiyana asked.

"Some rich folk at a large corp called. They booked the whole restaurant and paid three times as much as we make for a week!" Boss Van was smiling from ear to ear. I huffed in annoyance. Couldn't a large corporation find a better place to host?

"How many people are we expecting? As you can see we are short-staffed today," Dora said.

"I don't know but it should be a dozen. I guess we have to share the work. Dora, you shall help the chef in the kitchen," he said and then pointed at Kiyana and me.

"You shall serve," he said, and we nodded.

Thirty minutes later, the restaurant was cleared. We cleaned the place thoroughly. We were now waiting for the important guests to arrive.

"If they are so rich, why do they want to eat here?" Kiyana scowled.

"Well- well... Because we make the best food in town?" Van said, puzzled. We burst out laughing. This restaurant wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either, " Fine... I don't know why they chose to eat here of all places, but they ordered the most expensive bottles and food at the cafe,"

"Don't worry, boss, we'll do a good job," I said.

"Just try not to burf all over their shoes... Like the last family," My face fell. I knew he wouldn't let it go.

"The smell of fish just got to me, it won't happen again,"

We waited for the next hour, and still, the guests were no show. Van and Frank were getting disappointed with every passing minute. He checked his phone, and suddenly, his face lit up.

"They are here! ... but it's not a group," he frowned.

The manager rushed to the door as we went back to the kitchen. Chef Nox and Dora were busy making delicious-looking meals. Frank came back, almost out of breath.

"What is it?!" We asked.

"They are here," he whispered.

"My love, you're pale and red. Are you okay?" Van asked.

"They are just unbelievable... Simply out of this world. They are like gods," his voice was labored. Oh lord, this man was really dramatic. Maybe it had to do with his failed acting career.

After calming Frank, we carried two bottles of champagne and followed Van out. I froze when I felt familiar scents.

No, it couldn't I told myself, but I was wrong.

Oh goddess, I see who is sitting at a table for four. Prince Rhaegar, Nate, Ella and Kendrick. They looked proper, and one could tell they exuded wealth and elegance. They didn't belong in such a restaurant. Their eyes were fixated on me, and I trembled, almost dropping the bottle in my hand. How the fuck did they find me? Was it a coincidence?

"Babe, are you alright?"

"No, I need to leave this place," I whispered. I almost turned around to leave when Van hissed, " Where do you think you're going?"

"I feel faint," It wasn't a lie.

"Suck it up and smile," Van ordered. I gave him a pleading look. Kiyana looked at me confused. I should put the drinks and run, I thought.

Nate and Ella stood up at once when we got to the table. Nate was standing in front of Kiyana with a shocked expression. I knew that look, they were mates.

"Um, okay. You're being weird, sir," Kiyana's voice quivered as she backed away from the beta. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest, and she was flushed.

Nathaniel raised his hand and stroked her hair gently with a smile. "Hi, there,"

"H- hi?"

Nate's eyes fogged, and he inhaled, going to his seat with a small smile on his lips. He wasn't expecting to find his mate.

"Why did you leave without saying a word," Ella pulled me into a hug.

I gently pushed her from me, "I left you a letter,"
