The Alpha Prince's Redemption

Both of You

Both of You

Nalya

"Nalya, the best thing you can do is accept my rejection and leave this place forever, and if you want more money, I'll give it to you," he said and left me with a shattering heart. I fell to the ground, crying. My mate didn't want me. I wasn't good enough for him. Those words pierced me like a double-edged sword.

'Stop crying. It is pathetic to cry for a man who doesn't want you,' my wolf said sharply, surprising me.

'He said I'm not good enough,'

'Get up, go back inside, and take a long shower, then we'll accept his rejection when we see him,' she was determined. Something had snapped in her.

'B- But...'

'We'll be fine. You'll be alright, human,'

'No, I won't. I want him,'

'Well, he doesn't,'

Members of the pack were now coming out and quickly stood up and went inside.

I saw Uria and two guys in my direction as they went for training. I almost turned to leave, but I was too late.

"Hey, rogue!" She called. I wasn't in the mood to tolerate her bullying today.

"Did you shift? How was your wolf? Roguish? Green and disgusting?" she asked.

"I think they are just normal," One of the guys chuckled.

"Anyway, we want smoothies," she demanded.

"Making food is not in my job description," I said, walking away from her, but she grabbed my hair and pulled me back roughly. I blacked out for a second, and when I came to my senses, Uria was shrieking and holding her bloody nose.

"You bitch! You'll pay for this," Uria raised her hand to slap me, but a deep growl stopped her.

"Do you want to die?"

I turned around and saw Roman. He glared at the trio, and they moved away from me, bowing to him. I was confused. Was he of higher rank than them? Uria went to him.

"She slapped me, and I bled,"

"What made her do that?" he asked coldly, and she lost her words. " You want to go around fighting people? Let's see how you'll fare in today's tasks,"

Uria glared at me, silently saying this wasn't over, and walked away with her friends. Roma looked at me once and turned to walk away.

I was outraged at Uria, the Prince, and Roma! I clutched my hands in a ball and hit my bedroom wall. I did it angrily and only stomach when my knuckles bled. I calmed down and went to the shower. I wore jean trousers and a long-sleeved shirt. I put my hair in a tight bun and went to the kitchen.

"Almost ready," the chef announced. I tried to look calm, unbothered by anything else around the staff.

"Here you go, Nalya. Please be careful," she said.

We quickly finished serving, and I rushed to the staff dining room, got a croissant to eat, and went to wait for the Alpha. I needed to accept the rejection. Rhaegar didn't leave the hall when breakfast was over. I went to the fourth floor to his suit bedroom and knocked, but there was no response, sighing I left.

I met Beta Nate on my way down, " Hi, Kiddo," he was cheerful towards me as always.

"Hello, Nate,"

"How are you?" he asked. After exchanging pleasantries, I asked about the prince, but I was disappointed to learn that he was out of town for work.

"Oh, thank you," I said and walked away, but he asked.

"Kid, are you sure you're well?"

I nodded, and he gave me a small smile.

"Good, we want you to be comfortable here, and if there's anything I can do to make your life easier, don't hesitate to tell me," he said.

"Thank you, Nate, you're too kind,"

"Also, Ella told me to say hi to you when I see you," he informed me. I missed Ella.

"Is she alright at her university?" I asked.

"Yes,"

We parted, and I decided to meet Azura. She told me yesterday that she could take me to a place where I could get a job.

I found her in the common area. Everyone was busy playing their fun-looking games. These kids lived the life I only watched on TV back home. My eyes immediately found Roman. He was playing a video game with Zayn.

"Hi, Nalya!" Azura squeaked, getting off Zac's lap.

"Wanna join? Please do. We have everything in this room. Pool, dart, chess games, video games, oh! And there's beer in the fridge," she said.

"You told me we can job hunt in town today, but if you're busy, we can go tomorrow," I said. She looked over her shoulder, back to Zac, and he stood up. Azura smiled at me and threw one arm around me.

"Let's go,"

"I wish you didn't have to work," Azura said as we walked.

"Why don't you work anymore?" I asked her.

"I earned enough money for the bag I wanted,"

"Why did you have to work for money? Your parents are rich," Zac said in his usual low-bored tone.

"They confiscated my card, and my boyfriend isn't too generous to take me shopping again this month," she said, mockery lacing her words.

"You're a beast when it comes to shopping, babe, and you should apologize to your parents again,"

"Why did you anger your parents?" I asked.

"I threw a party while they were out of town and invited all my peers, and my dad's office files were in a tub full of liquor somehow," she laughed. They told me about their epic parties before we reached the country club we were heading to.

"Zac's uncle is the executive, and my parents are members of the club, so we pulled some strings. After a brief interview with the supervisor, you'll begin," She said.

"Thank you so much, both of you,"
