Chapter 93 93: The summit 2
Chapter 93 93: The summit 2
Outside the reinforced windows of the conference room, the Chaos Brigade began their slaughter.
Dozens of rogue magicians descended upon the academy courtyard, ruthlessly gunning down the lower-ranking guards and Devil familiars who were hopelessly paralyzed by the temporal lock.
Inside the safety of the room, Azazel casually leaned against the table, analyzing the magical signature locking down the campus. "It's the vampire half-breed. Your Bishop, Rias. His *Forbidden Balor View* has been hijacked and amplified."
Rias's expression tightened. "I need to get to him. *Oni-sama*, I request permission to use the castling maneuver with Koneko to bypass the frozen space and reach the old school building."
Sirzechs nodded sharply. "Granted. Go."
As Rias prepared the magical transit circle, Vali Lucifer let out a loud, theatrical yawn. He pushed himself off the wall, his silver hair catching the fluorescent light. "I'm getting bored standing around here watching politicians. I'll go entertain myself with the grunts outside."
With a flash of blinding white light, the *Divine Dividing* armor materialized over Vali's body. The Heavenly Dragon didn't wait for permission. He blasted straight outward, soaring into the chaotic airspace. A second later, Rias vanished through her castling circle with issei.
A massive, complex magic circle—glowing with the sinister, deep-sea aura of the Leviathan lineage—flared to life directly above the building.
A devastating blast of demonic energy rained down, completely destroying the structural integrity of the roof. The ceiling blew outward in a shower of concrete and rebar. Instantly, Sirzechs and Serafall stepped forward, their combined demonic power erupting to form an impenetrable, shimmering dome over the Faction Leaders, the Shinto deities, and the paralyzed students.
Floating down through the settling dust was Katerea Leviathan. She held a glowing staff, her face twisted in a mask of revolutionary zeal as she began to grandstand about the Chaos Brigade and her divine right to reform the Underworld.
Jin completely tuned her out.
Standing safely inside the barrier, his Sharingan spun lazily as he looked past Katerea, scanning the skies. He was doing the math. *Forty in the eastern quadrant. Thirty hovering near the clock tower. Highly coordinated, but no exceptional threat. More like Chitauri.*
His tactical assessment was suddenly interrupted by a gentle tap on his shoulder.
"Hey, Jin," Amaterasu said, a cheerful but calculating glint in her golden eyes. She pointed a slender finger toward the swarm of magicians circling the barrier. "Why don't you go and fight them?"
Jin looked at the Sun Goddess. He immediately understood the underlying game. She wanted to see exactly how valuable her new asset could be—how much investment he deserved.
Jin offered a slight, respectful nod. "As you wish, Goddess."
He turned and began making his way toward the shimmering edge of the barrier.
"I might as well go out there too," Azazel sighed. He cracked his neck and looked up at Katerea. "I'll take the Leviathan. Consider it an apology for the Kokabiel mess."
Sirzechs and Michael exchanged a glance. Sirzechs looked intently at Jin, curious to see the boy operate in an open warzone, and then waved his hand. A large section of the defensive barrier rippled and opened like a pair of sliding doors.
Jin stepped out of the barrier and onto the rubble of the academy grounds.
The Chaos Brigade didn't hesitate. Recognizing a target stepping out of the VIP shield, two dozen magicians in the immediate airspace locked onto him. They raised their hands, firing a massive, synchronized volley of lethal beams.
Jin didn't brace himself. He moved.
His body was a blur of hyper-efficient motion. The Sharingan tracked the trajectory of every single beam before it even left the magicians' hands.
As he dodged, his mind raced through his arsenal. *How do I put on a good show?*
He had the Tremor fruit, but he realized something crucial: he had almost completely neglected the ninjutsu of Itachi Uchiha. He relied on Touki, Haki, and Tremors more, as they suited him, and the Sharingan for perception. But he hadn't truly tested himself with Itachi's skills.
*Let's see,* Jin thought.
He came to a sudden halt, anchoring his boots into the shattered concrete. For the first time, he consciously reached deep into his core, pulling on the latent well of chakra resting within his cells. He brought his hands up, his fingers flying through a rapid, complex series of hand seals that were entirely alien to the magicians of this world.
*Horse. Tiger.*
Jin took a massive, lung-expanding breath, feeling the chakra ignite in his chest.
*"Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame."*
He exhaled.
It wasn't just a fireball. It was a biblical tsunami of pure fire. A colossal wall of raging, roaring flames erupted from his lips, expanding exponentially as it hit the oxygen in the air. It painted the night sky a blinding, apocalyptic orange, moving like a tidal wave directly into the swarm of magicians.
The front line of the Chaos Brigade didn't even have time to scream. Their defensive barriers melted instantly, and they were incinerated mid-air, reduced to falling ash.
Even Jin's eyes widened slightly in surprise as he stopped breathing out. The sheer scale of the jutsu had dwarfed anything he had anticipated.
*How?* Jin thought, looking at the scorched, empty sector of the sky.
Then, his brain provided the answer. *Chakra is created by molding the physical energy present in every cell of the body with spiritual and mental energy.*
The original Itachi Uchiha possessed genius-level spiritual energy and control, but his physical energy was severely crippled by a terminal respiratory illness and low stamina.
Jin, however, was a biological nightmare. He had integrated the dense, monstrous vitality of Edward Newgate (Whitebeard), the absolute hardening of Eijiro Kirishima, and the relentless, immortal regeneration of Wolverine. His physical energy wasn't just healthy; it was a bottomless, surging ocean. When he combined that monstrous physical vitality with his jutsu efficiency, the resulting chakra output was effectively on par with a Kage.
Inside the barrier, absolute silence reigned among the deities.
Tsukuyomi's jaw went slightly slack. Amaterasu's eyes were wide with genuine, unadulterated shock.
For the Shinto Gods, the laws of the world were absolute. Humans could use Senjutsu, yes, but only through the medium of Sacred Gears, divine blessings, or precisely drawn Ofuda talismans. To see a human physically exhale a localized firestorm of pure, raw energy without a single magical circle or artifact was rare, to say the least. They had only seen it a few times in their entire lifetimes.
Sirzechs, however, remained relatively composed regarding the fire.
But Sirzechs's composure was about to break.
High above, the surviving magicians of the Chaos Brigade panicked. Realizing they couldn't fight Jin at a distance without being incinerated, they changed tactics.
"Converge! Bombard him into the ground!" the squad leader screamed.
The remaining fifty magicians swarmed together, positioning themselves directly above Jin in a tight, concentrated formation, preparing to carpet bomb Jin.
Jin looked up at the clustering targets. His crimson eyes narrowed.
*Perfect.*
Jin dropped his hands to his sides and clenched his fists. He didn't weave any signs. He didn't mold any chakra.
A distinct, terrifying visual phenomenon occurred. A glowing, semi-transparent white aura—a sphere of chaotic, vibrating energy—manifested around his clenched hands.
The atmosphere around Jin instantly changed. The air felt heavy, suffocating.
Sirzechs Lucifer stepped forward, his polite facade shattering as his eyes locked onto Jin's hands. Sona Sitri, standing in the back, instinctively took a step back.
Even high above the academy, Vali Lucifer, who was in the middle of tearing a magician in half, suddenly stopped. The White Dragon Emperor whipped his helmeted head around, his battle-lust spiking as his draconic instincts screamed at the anomaly forming in the courtyard below.
Jin pulled his right fist back, the white sphere humming with the power to shatter the world.
There was a profound, sickening tremor in the fabric of space itself.
*CRACK.*
The first sound was a violent snap, like a massive glacier splitting right down to its core. Then came the impact.
*BOOOOOM!*
