He felt like having a child would massively change his role.

Besides, he was only nineteen this year. In this day and age, this age is too young to be a dad, just like being a young dude.

Some of Xu Lin’s elementary and junior high school classmates were indeed parents now, even though they lived in the city, not rural areas. But not everyone was still in school; some had left school, entered society, and started families, living carefree lives.
