Hello, everyone! I'm here to bring you guys good news.
As of today, Dr. Jesus has officially discharged my father from the hospital and he's already returned home with me and my mom. He'll keep taking his antibiotics at home for 5 more days. We were very fortunate that he sought medical assistance quickly and that the doctors were qualified, rapidly bringing the sepsis under control. He also underwent an endoscopy since he puked up dark vomit, which I thought had been hematemesis, but it turns out there's no injury or ulcer on his gastrointestinal tract, just some mild gastritis, since he also had gastroenteritis. I was fully prepared to spend many more days with him at the hospital, but fate was kind to us.

It's still ironic to me how I'm an atheist and my life was saved by a doctor literally called Jesus, and now he's helped my father as well. Funny how things work sometimes.
