Supreme Heir Son-in-law

Chapter 998 - 997: A Blow to the Head

Chapter 998 - 997: A Blow to the Head

The man pushed hard twice, but couldn’t open it, and grunted in confusion.

Finally, the three men tried in turn, but all failed.

Moreover, behind the door, Tangtang and Guoguo, the two sisters, were already tense and stiff, their fingers gripping the sticks turning white at the knuckles.

Sometimes, the greatest terror does not come from death, but from the moment right before death, that knife hanging over their heads.

But no matter how they calculated, they couldn’t predict the time of their own death, only the fear of death tightly surrounded and destroyed their hearts.

For Tangtang and Guoguo, although at this moment they were not facing death, being humiliated by three men was just as intolerable as death, perhaps even more painful.

Outside the door, after trying in turns, the three men still couldn’t open the door.

"Something’s not right, all three of us pushed, why isn’t it opening? What kind of lock is so tight that it doesn’t budge even when we push like this? How about we try together this time?" one of the men suggested.

The other two immediately nodded to show their agreement with his decision.

Inside the room, Tangtang and Guoguo, who were holding the door, heard the suggestion and turned to each other with a helpless smile.

In each other’s eyes, they saw helplessness and sorrow. Why were they encountering such a thing? Why must these things always happen to them?

What kind of sins did the two sisters commit in their past life to meet one bad person after another in this one?

Both sisters knew that if two men pushed at the same time, they would definitely be unable to resist.

As girls, their strength was inherently limited; against one man, they could still make it work, but facing two was like a wild fantasy.

No matter how strong they were, they couldn’t overpower the combined strength of two men.

Yet, they continued to hold the door with all their might, refusing to give up until the very last moment.

Who knew if these two might be just bluffers who couldn’t push open the door? Who knew if they might suddenly face some unexpected situation and just leave?

Although this idea seemed absurd, it was their greatest comfort in that moment.

Without such thoughts, they truly didn’t know how to carry on.

Fate did not favor the sisters; under the assault of the two men, the door was decisively forced open.

The sisters were slammed against the wall by the overwhelming force, struggling to hold onto their sticks.

"No wonder the door wouldn’t open, turns out someone was holding it from behind!" The three men swaggered into the living room.

Straight away, they spotted Tangtang and Guoguo behind the door.

Once their eyes landed on the sisters, they couldn’t look away.

Previously, they thought Old Wu was exaggerating and lying; from the moment they came with him, they had no good intentions.

They were planning that if Old Wu deceived them, they’d mock him mercilessly, but if the sisters turned out to be good-looking, they’d want to have a taste.

Yet, they did not expect Old Wu to be truthful this time; these sisters couldn’t simply be described as beautiful.

To them, these sisters were the most stunning women they had seen in their forty years of life, resembling movie stars, looking identical like mirror reflections being twins.

"Old Wu, you really pulled through. We thought you were lying to us, but these gals truly are as beautiful as heavenly fairies." One of the men drooled, disgustingly.

Another one dismissed him, smacking his head, "You’re exaggerating! When have you seen a fairy? You over-praise, they’re clearly like movie stars on TV. Truly beautiful."

This man wasn’t in much better shape than the previous one but still better than Old Wu.

At least he managed to compliment the sisters, whereas Old Wu could only drool and stare stupidly, unable to speak.

"Old Wu, get over here, I’m losing patience. If you don’t come, I’m going ahead." One man hastily began to undo his belt.

Tangtang watched him undoing the belt directed at her, and her face changed, screaming instantly.

Yet her scream was promptly muffled, silencing her voice.

She couldn’t afford terror; it wouldn’t help her defeat the man before her. She needed to save her fear to subdue him.

Though her mind knew what she should do, her body was entirely beyond control, rigid like a sculpted statue.

In the end, Guoguo rushed from behind and struck the man’s head with a stick.

She used all her strength, as if pouring her entire might into that blow.

It was effective, the man rolled his eyes and fainted on the floor before reacting.

Though he collapsed, the other two remained fine; their attention finally shifted from the sisters to the sticks they held.

"Didn’t expect you were so prepared, did you know the three of us would come and did this to welcome us?" said the man who came with Old Wu.

His taunting gaze fell on Guoguo, unfazed by her potential attack.

Even though she had taken down one, to them she was still a harmless woman.
