Supreme Heir Son-in-law

Chapter 956 - 955: Fraud

Chapter 956 - 955: Fraud

The two sisters had plans well thought out and followed the other party without much hesitation, and throughout the journey, the scout showered them with flattery.

He even shared juicy gossip about famous stars with the sisters, who listened intently, exclaiming in amazement.

It was hard to believe that the glamorous stars led such lives behind the scenes. The scout was eloquent, knowing from the sisters’ exchange what they most lacked, and he focused on persuading them around this, successfully moving their hearts.

First, the sisters followed the scout to a skyscraper, which, despite its exterior grandeur, had people constantly entering and exiting, looking quite imposing.

The scout led them to a conference room, handed them each a glass of water, and told them to wait there for a bit, assuring them that someone would soon come to discuss contract matters with them.

The sisters did not think much about it and were unguarded. Who could’ve known that after drinking the glass of water, they would soon be oblivious to everything?

When the sisters opened their eyes again, they had already been moved from the skyscraper to an extremely remote place.

Not only was the area sparsely populated, but it was surrounded by alleys, and mostly single-story houses were seen, with scarce tall buildings, looking far from a good environment.

It was then that the sisters realized they’d been deceived, but it was already too late; their hands and feet were bound, mouths gagged, making any attempt at rescue futile.

However, they weren’t entirely without an advantage; at least their phones were still on them, and it seemed their captors didn’t know they’d regained consciousness, as they chatted audaciously.

Perhaps too confident in themselves, the captors only bound the sisters, leaving their belongings seemingly untouched, as if certain they wouldn’t attempt to flee.

The sisters exchanged a glance, and when the vehicle halted, they closed their eyes with absolute coordination, using their shielded hands to help untie each other’s ropes.

The opportunity was singular, and they had to seize it. If taken into a room, escaping would be immensely difficult, their sole chance was during this transfer.

This was when the captors were least vigilant, grasping this chance was their only possibility to escape these people.

It seemed luck played a colossal joke, for the captors never imagined they’d awaken early, resulting in their escape from the vehicle.

Yet, as they concealed themselves, Xu Ke’s phone rang loudly, abruptly exposing their hiding place.

Having just escaped the captors’ den, the sisters were captured again, but before being taken back, they managed to send their location to Xu Ke, quickly hiding another phone.

In a rapid series of actions, thanks to their usual synchronization, they managed to retain one phone despite being searched.

"You’re quite capable, you two think you’re quite clever, planning to escape? Anyone captured by your brother here has never escaped, nearly ruined my reputation,"

The man who posed as the scout revealing his wicked face, stared at the sisters with fierce eyes.

Frightened, the sisters clung tightly to each other, trembling.

The man was satisfied with Tangtang and Guoguo’s reaction, when suddenly he wiped the smile from his face and slapped Guoguo viciously.

"Ah! What are you doing? How could you hit us like that?" Tangtang quickly sheltered Guoguo’s face in her arms, glaring angrily at the man.

"I hit her, so what? I’ll hit you too. You two disobedient wenches," the man said and indeed slapped Tangtang, leaving five painful marks on her face.

"To be honest, I’m not afraid of you running away, this whole area is your grandfather’s domain, no matter where you sisters run, I’ll grab you back." The man said with a twisted smile.

"If you’re smart, you’ll stay here obediently, and I’ll let you live decently for a few days. When I find suitors, I’ll pick ones with good conditions. But if you decide to cross me, don’t blame if I’m harsh." The man said, sinisterly watching the sisters.

"We’ve always been honest, never provoking anyone, why do this? You’ll ruin our lives," Guoguo, peering from Tangtang’s arms, said tearfully.

The man, hearing Guoguo, at first was stunned, then laughed mockingly.

"My heavens, did I hear wrong? You’re asking us to let you go? Are you crazy? Or are we? Let you go, and face alarms? I’d be crazy to leave good times for prison bullets." The man sneered.

"We won’t report you. We swear, if we report you, let heaven strike us dead," Guoguo raised three fingers towards the sky solemnly.

Her words seemed earnest, as if heartfelt.

The man, observing Guoguo’s gestures, wore a mocking smile.

"Swearing is outdated, if it worked I’d have no bones left. I’m a firm materialist, don’t buy those oaths, forget about them, stay put." The man said to Guoguo.

His words pierced Guoguo’s heart, leaving her breathless, face heavy with despair.

He finished, locking Tangtang and Guoguo in a lightless room, while he and his brothers rejoiced over meat and wine.

Xu Ke arrived under such conditions, using the phone’s location to pinpoint them.

The man, drunk with his comrades, was startled when Xu Ke kicked the door with force, enveloped in a dark aura, stepping into the courtyard.

"Who are you? Breaking in here for what?" The man suddenly stood vigilant, eyeing Xu Ke.
