Chapter 510: Can We Stop Arguing, Please?
Mu Zeyu greeted the photographer and the crew, exchanging a few polite words, like asking them to take good care of Xiyan. When he turned around, he noticed the young girl still frozen in place, her expression extremely unpleasant.
Mu Zeyu walked over with concern, asking, "What’s wrong with you?"
"..."
"Summer?" Mu Zeyu gently nudged Xiyan, "Are you feeling unwell somewhere?"
Xiyan suddenly raised her head, looking at Mu Zeyu’s face that was so close, and shook her head, "I’m fine."

Throughout the shoot, Xiyan was completely out of sorts, slowing down the progress significantly.
Finally, they wrapped up the day’s work. It was already past six in the evening.
Resting her head against the car window, Xiyan stared blankly at the vehicles passing by outside. Suddenly, her lips moved, "Uncle Zhang, stop here, please."
They weren’t far from Xia Mansion. She wanted to get out and feel the breeze.
The driver respectfully pulled over to the roadside.
The summer evening breeze carried a slight trace of heat, ruffling Xiyan’s hair.
Lowering her head, Xiyan looked at the elongated shadow of her figure under the sun, her eyes slightly stinging.
Was Ou Jue really going to S Country with Qiao Qianmo?
I really want to call him...
But if I reach out to Ou Jue first, wouldn’t that make me seem like I’ve no pride?
Lost in thought, Xiyan absent-mindedly lifted her gaze.
And there, not far away, she caught sight of a tall silhouette.
Xiyan’s eyes widened in disbelief as she saw the strikingly elegant figure of the young man not far away.
Ou Jue!
He was leaning lazily against the wall with his arms across his chest, one leg slightly bent, resting against the wall behind him.
The warm orange hue of the setting sun outlined his chiseled features, while the wind tousled his black bangs—he looked like a stunning character who’d stepped out of a manga.
As if hearing the sound of footsteps, Ou Jue raised his handsome face and glanced sideways.
The person she had missed so intensely suddenly appeared in her sight. Their eyes met.
Xiyan’s breathing tightened. She quickly averted her eyes.
She stepped forward, intending to pass by Ou Jue, but he gently grabbed her arm.
Xiyan remained silent, her gaze lowered.
After a while, Ou Jue let out a silent sigh, wrapping his arms around her. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, his voice hoarse, "You silly girl, can we stop fighting, please?"
Ou Jue had always carried an air of superiority, never bowing his head to anyone.
But now, he was softly pleading, "Please?"
Somehow, those three words carried boundless tenderness.
"..." Biting her lower lip, Xiyan lowered her head to look at the tips of her shoes.
"It’s only been a few hours," Ou Jue tightened his arms around Xiyan, his voice growing raspier, "But I’ve missed you so much I feel like I’m going crazy."
Thump, thump—
Her heart raced.
A tickling sensation at the center of her chest, like being pawed by a cat.
Her heart, because of those words, softened into a complete mess in an instant.
Xiyan wrapped her arms around him in return, yet she still pouted and muttered, "Well, it was your fault to begin with—who told you not to trust me?"
Ou Jue straightened up, lowering his gaze to look at Xiyan. "Qiao Qianmo is my cousin. Whether she likes me or not has nothing to do with me. I will never like her anyway. But you—"
Ou Jue narrowed his eyes slightly, "Yesterday, trying to make me jealous by getting into another man’s car, weren’t you?"
"I did not!"
"Still denying it?" Ou Jue gave her a light pat on her small bottom.
"Hmph." Xiyan wriggled free from his embrace and tilted her little face up to look at him. "You tell me first, are you going to S Country with Qiao Qianmo or not?"
