Super Sweet, 100\% Honeymoon

Chapter 484: Future Wife

Chapter 484: Future Wife

Looking at An Ran’s disheveled appearance, Chi Cheng’s eyes darkened slightly. After wrapping her in his suit jacket, he carried her horizontally from the back seat of the taxi. The pleas from behind were incessant, yet Chi Cheng seemed not to hear them.

With a calm expression, he carried An Ran back to his car.

"Drive, to the hotel."

He didn’t want the scent of other men to linger on this girl’s body.

Even if it was just a slight touch, it was unacceptable.

Lowering his gaze, Chi Cheng looked at An Ran in his arms, his grip around her gradually tightening.

From the very start, he knew An Ran was coming to see Xiyan.

From the moment this little girl boarded the train, he had been following from a distance.

Chi Cheng lowered his eyes, gently rubbing his cheek against An Ran’s, murmuring in a soft voice, "An Xiaoran, is it me who’s taking revenge on you, or you on me..."

-

Inside the hotel.

An Ran obediently nestled in his arms, murmuring like a kitten, with little sobs, "Ugh, I feel terrible..."

Chi Cheng leaned in close to her ear, his voice hoarse with a hint of knowingly inquiring, "Where do you feel terrible?"

An Ran didn’t know, she could only repeatedly call out to him, "Brother, brother..."

Chi Cheng’s heart was in turmoil, "What should I do, An Xiaoran."

It seems...I’ve really fallen.

Because of you.

...I am a pure dividing line...

Chi Cheng turned over and headed to the bathroom, adjusting the showerhead to the lowest temperature.

He kept his head down, allowing the cool water to wash over his body.

The buttons of his white shirt were fastened meticulously to the top button at the collar, as always elegantly poised and serene.

But his heart was in complete chaos.

He clearly could have just claimed her.

But why did he stop because of her tears?

Previously, Chi Cheng thought that toying with An Ran’s emotions, attacking her proactively, making her helplessly fall in love with him.

Then claiming her, abandoning her.

That was the best revenge.

Revenge for that little girl, for forgetting what happened in the past.

Revenge against that little girl’s mother.

But...in the end, who was taking revenge on whom?

And who was playing with whose emotions?

An Ran slept lightly, waking up in less than an hour.

After being exhausted, a nap is always easily satisfying.

She stared blankly at the ceiling, her thoughts not yet organized.

Before she could fully recall everything, she heard a gentle and clear voice, "Awake?"

Her eyelashes trembled, and An Ran turned her head, seeing Chi Cheng sitting upright next to her.

Still impeccably dressed in a white shirt, the golden thread buttons at the cuffs exuded an indescribable sense of nobility.

"..." An Ran looked confused.

Chi Cheng leaned closer, the faint scent from his body lingering beneath An Ran’s nose, a very clean and pleasant smell.

His slender fingers traced the contours of An Ran’s face, "Will you dare to run around on your own next time?"

Run?

Right.

She remembered everything...!!

An Ran’s eyes suddenly widened, recalling everything that happened before.

Ah ah ah ah ah.

Hiding under the covers, An Ran bit her lower lip tightly, she really had no face to meet anyone now.

Chi Cheng reached out to pull the blanket off of An Ran, "Get up, let’s eat."

"I don’t want to eat, you go out!"

Looking at her awkwardly playing the ostrich, Chi Cheng laughed lowly again, "Now that you’ve used me, you want to discard me? So hurtful."

This guy, why did he have to keep reminding her of what just happened?

An Ran felt she would never have the face to appear in front of Chi Cheng again.

Chi Cheng smirked with a faint hint of amusement, his voice always gentle, but his words carried an absolute warning, "An Xiaoran, I’ll give you three seconds to come out yourself, or else, the whole day today, don’t even think about getting out of bed."

His ambiguous words frightened An Ran enough to fling the covers off, "You’re crazy!!"

Chi Cheng didn’t feel the least bit awkward about what had just happened, as straightforward as ever.

"Be good, get up quickly, hmm?"

Chi Cheng’s hot-and-cold attitude left An Ran completely bewildered.

She looked angrily at Chi Cheng, "Have you had enough of your games? This playing tricks on me, shouldn’t it stop now?! Chi Cheng, you come close to me when you want, and when you don’t, you go find other girls to date, what exactly do you take me for?!"

Throughout, Chi Cheng had always forced her to call him "brother."

An Ran called him that all along.

But now, she called him Chi Cheng by his full name.

The little girl’s outburst made Chi Cheng smile instead of getting angry.

An Ran was even more annoyed, "What are you laughing at?!"

Chi Cheng lifted An Ran’s chin, his voice somewhat seductive, "What do you wish I would take you as?"

An Ran was completely stunned.

Mouth opened, but not a word came out.

What could she wish for?

An Ran turned her little face away deliberately to annoy him, "If I could choose, I wish I had nothing to do with you."

"Is that so?" Chi Cheng was still smiling, "Too bad, you don’t have the right to choose."

So for your whole life, you are destined not to escape from me.

Without arguing with her further, Chi Cheng got up, holding a clean dress the staff had just brought, "Wear it yourself, or want me to help you? Pick one."

An Ran bit her lip, unmoved.

Chi Cheng noticed the little white rabbit was slowly learning to resist.

He directly pulled up An Ran’s covers, picking up the underwear and dress about to put them on her.

An Ran panicked, her face flushed, "I’ll wear it myself!!"

Truly insane.

It felt like because of this, her and Chi Cheng’s relationship became even more ambiguous.

What was Chi Cheng really thinking?

Exactly how long would he toy with her before he stopped?

This game was like a cat catching a mouse.

No matter how An Ran ran, she couldn’t escape the trap Chi Cheng set.

She really felt thoroughly exhausted.

-

In the restaurant.

An Ran had not let go of what just happened, constantly avoiding Chi Cheng.

She ate absentmindedly with her head down.

Chi Cheng elegantly wiped his mouth with a napkin, exuding an air of nobility in every gesture, "Do you want me to feed you personally in front of everyone here?"

"..." An Ran said nothing.

She was throwing a tantrum, Chi Cheng could sense it.

He pushed a plate of food in front of the little girl, "Finish this, and I’ll take you to the hospital to see Xiyan."

These words finally prompted silent An Ran to suddenly look up, "What happened to her?"

Not being able to reach Xiyan, could it be because something happened to her?

"Eat it, and I’ll take you to her."

An Ran was worried sick, quickly eating in large bites.

Just then, a cheerful voice came over, "Mr. Chi!"

Almost immediately, An Ran turned with Chi Cheng to look.

A man, about the same age as Chi Cheng, walked over, "Is it really you? I thought I mistook someone else."

Chi Cheng faintly smiled, stood to shake hands with him, "What a coincidence."

The two seemed to be business partners, exchanging brief pleasantries.

During this time, the man fixed his gaze on An Ran, "And this is..."

Chi Cheng glanced at An Ran, speaking with a hint of a smile, "My future wife."

Her heart skipped a beat.

An Ran looked at Chi Cheng in astonishment.

What was he saying?

What did he mean by future wife?

Where did he get the confidence that she would be his wife in the future?
