Chapter 854: Chapter 848: New Goal (Part 1)

The ancient civilization had been destroyed by a force known as the Dark Believers. Unfortunately, even as they faced annihilation, they had no idea who was truly behind the Dark Believers. It was only in the inevitable end stages that this civilization began to think of ways to leave behind warnings for future civilizations.

That is why these secret bases were preserved, and these were the secrets Finn Lewis had heard about in this place.

“As my descendant, there isn’t much I can leave you. Next, you need to write down these coordinates. Also, your personal brain-computer will be operable here. I will transfer some information to you.” As this voice narrated, a complete star map appeared in front of Finn Lewis.

“Luna Starfield,” Finn Lewis tentatively said, testing the waters.

“Yes, Your Highness, I can connect with you now. There is a portion of data here attempting to transfer to me, should I accept it?” Luna Starfield asked.

“Accept the data, store all of it, encrypt it, the highest level of encryption. No one but me is allowed to access it,” Finn Lewis said decisively.

...

“Yes, Your Highness,” Luna Starfield promptly responded.

After some time, Finn Lewis suddenly heard a noise. Then a wave of pain hit his brain, but it wasn’t severe, within an acceptable range for him. He immediately opened his eyes, and upon doing so, found that he had exited the Virtual World, his body’s nutrient pod slowly opening.

Once it opened, Finn Lewis rubbed his forehead. The pain wasn’t as intense as he’d thought, perhaps related to his strong mental fortitude. Stepping out, he discovered the headmaster of the noble academy, along with dozens of other top figures from the school, waiting outside.

Moreover, they had changed into different clothes. As Finn Lewis emerged, everyone present bowed on one knee with respectful expressions and said in unison, “Congratulations on your graduation, Your Majesty.”

“Everyone, please rise,” Finn Lewis said, catching on after a moment of surprise.

“Yes, Your Majesty.” As for the change in honorific from “Your Highness” to “Your Majesty,” Finn Lewis was indifferent. To him, these titles held no intimidation anymore. Now, he thought, he could entirely disregard the might of the Galactic Federation.

Of course, unless the collective power of the Federation was combined, which sadly, was impossible. Moreover, for the Galactic Federation, such a scenario seemed eternally improbable. With so many families hard to unite, the Galactic Federation was, bluntly, much like the United Nations on Earth.

The families were like the various nations within the U.N., with the royal family’s nine great surnames being equivalent to the five permanent members. In essence, that was how it worked. Other families were just attending the prince’s school, so to speak, and the Oversight Board was like the U.N.’s peacekeeping forces.

They might hold substantial sway over smaller nations, but when it came to the nine great surnames of the royal family, it was all nonsense, effectively powerless. Of course, the sole difference was that the Federation’s peacekeeping force was somewhat more formidable in power, but to Finn Lewis, this strength was built on a shaky foundation.
