"No." Li Yifei said, then with a mischievous grin, added, "But if you give me a kiss, I might consider it!"

"Scoundrel, shameless scoundrel!" Chu Xiaoyao continued to struggle, while Su Lio finally relaxed seeing that Li Yifei had embraced the girl. She turned away, no longer worried.

Li Yifei had already grabbed Chu Xiaoyao’s hands, feeling how clammy they were, showing her emotions were running high. Li Yifei whispered into her ear, "My beloved little wife, your husband is apologizing. Don’t be angry, okay?"

"No! Who’s your wife!" Chu Xiaoyao shook her head, still struggling.

Li Yifei said, "You are, you’re my wife."

"I’m not. We aren’t married or registered. Even if we’ve slept together, so what? A wash and I’m good as new." Chu Xiaoyao retorted.

Hearing this, Li Yifei immediately retaliated, smacking Chu Xiaoyao on the butt twice, making her yelp. Su Lio was startled, turning quickly to look, only to see Li Yifei still holding Chu Xiaoyao, leaving her confused and blinking innocently.

"Why’d you hit me!" Chu Xiaoyao asked angrily.

"Why do you think? Since I’ve been with you, you’re mine, and now you want to deny it? Believe me, I could strip you bare and have you right now!"

"You dare!" Chu Xiaoyao glared, but her big, beautiful eyes weren’t intimidating. Li Yifei said, "Good wife, I’m apologizing, so please don’t be mad."

"No way, you yelled at me in front of so many people."

"Then how about I make it up to you?"

"No, what could you possibly offer me? Besides money, what else do you have?"

"Honey, with money, we can have many things. Besides, you have me. I know you’re not really mad, so why don’t we forgive each other and be happy, okay?"

"No." Chu Xiaoyao shook her head again, but this time said nothing more, letting Li Yifei know her heart was softening. All that was needed was a kiss, a kiss full of love.

This kiss lasted for a long time; Li Yifei didn’t want to stop, and Chu Xiaoyao didn’t want to stop either, at least not now.
