Super Soldier in the City

Chapter 1849 - 1911: Snatching the Deal

Chapter 1849 - 1911: Snatching the Deal

Huang Dagang was full of confidence. He had just closed an extremely important deal, so he felt assured. Looking at Li Yifei and the others, his eyes were filled with resentment, "You folks just dared to humiliate me earlier, now I’ll make you pay!"Walking to the lounge area, Huang Dagang directly asked, "Where’s Bai He?"

Li Yifei looked up and, seeing that it was Huang Dagang, ignored him. Lianyao gave him a look of disgust, while Qin Muchu suddenly lifted his head, very displeased, and said, "Who are you? Don’t you know any manners? What are you shouting for?"

"And who are you?" Huang Dagang retorted, wondering why there was suddenly another man.

Qin Muchu noticed that this person’s attire was like Bai He’s and realized he was from the dealership, especially since there was a badge on his chest labeled "Sales Consultant." Qin Muchu stood up, looked at Huang Dagang with unfriendly eyes, and said, "Is this how your store treats customers? Get lost."

As for arrogance, Qin Muchu was also a very arrogant person. Since learning of Li Yifei’s identity, he was eager to cozy up, so there was no way he would let anyone offend Li Yifei.

"Watch your words too; this is a BMW dealership, not your home. If you cause trouble here, I have the right to call the police and have you arrested!" Huang Dagang looked at Qin Muchu and responded.

"Oh!" Qin Muchu felt provoked, strode toward Huang Dagang, pushed him, and said, "Try fighting back if you dare. Damn, just a sales consultant, and you dare to be this arrogant, spoiling you!"

Huang Dagang had not expected the other person to be so hot-tempered. He regretted his words after saying them. That was not his goal; if they fought, even the manager could not protect him. If things escalated, even if he beat the other person, it would be him, Huang Dagang, who would suffer the consequences. Realizing this, Huang Dagang’s expression changed, and he spoke more gently, "I spoke inappropriately, but I’m here to find Bai He. Where is she?"

"What, planning to snatch Bai He’s deal?" Lianyao asked, turning around.

"No!" Huang Dagang said.

Coincidentally, Bai He and Yin Feng’er walked back carrying water. Upon seeing Bai He, Huang Dagang walked directly over and grabbed Bai He’s arm.

"Ah..." Bai He was startled. She saw Huang Dagang but didn’t expect him to lay hands on her, causing the two hot cups of water she was holding to spill over, with some pouring onto her hand, making her cry out.

"Are you done yet?" Li Yifei stood up, but Qin Muchu rushed over, grabbed Huang Dagang by the arm, and yanked him away. In terms of reading people’s expressions, Qin Muchu was well-trained and immediately guessed that this person had a prior conflict with Li Yifei. How could he let Li Yifei dirty his hands?

Using force, Qin Muchu pushed Huang Dagang several steps away, stood in front of Bai He, looked at Huang Dagang with unfriendly eyes, and said, "Apologize!"

"Hmph, well, you’ve got some nerve!" Huang Dagang hadn’t expected the other person’s strength to be so great, almost causing him to fall. So he decided not to confront them directly, adjusted his clothing, and said, "Bai He, I just came to tell you that the X6 sports model has already been sold."

"What?" Bai He, ignoring the pain, widened her eyes and looked at Huang Dagang, asking, "When was it sold? That’s impossible; just now I checked the records, and it wasn’t sold. I’m about to sign the contract, so how could it have been sold?"

"It wasn’t sold, but it has been reserved. The deposit is in my hands," Huang Dagang replied.

Li Yifei’s lips curved into a smirk as he coldly looked at Huang Dagang, but Lianyao paid no mind to this. She walked over to Bai He, grabbed her hand, and saw a red mark the size of a coin, likely to blister. Lianyao felt a pang of sympathy, raised her head, and shouted at Huang Dagang, "You’re despicable! I don’t care what trick you used; I’m buying this car today. But you also have to apologize to Bai He, otherwise, even if it blows up, you won’t have a good time!"

Since joining the Li family, Lianyao had never been this angry, let alone said such things. But today, this person had angered her like a fly. Although neither she nor Li Yifei wanted to stoop to his level, he had gotten worse, and now Bai He was injured, Lianyao was truly angry.

Her words represented Li Yifei’s intentions.

With Lianyao’s words, Qin Muchu and Yin Feng’er felt even more compelled to act, especially Qin Muchu, who directly grabbed Huang Dagang’s clothes and said, "Apologize to this lady immediately, or I’ll beat you up!"

"Go ahead, hit me, whatever!" Huang Dagang wasn’t afraid; at worst, he’d take a beating. But being part of a BMW dealership, his background wasn’t weak; if he took a hit, his boss would step in. Huang Dagang wouldn’t believe these people could escape unscathed.

Bai He gritted her teeth, holding back tears, and said, "Huang Dagang, what did I ever do to you? I was negotiating a deal, and you took it; I can accept that. But now you’re still causing trouble? Clearly, it wasn’t sold just now. How did it suddenly get done, with a deposit paid?"

In the distance, several salespeople and security staff were also coming over. They, too, thought Huang Dagang had gone too far. Bullying needs to have a limit; if you go too far, it easily incites collective anger, especially when a big guy bullies a young girl like this—it’s just shameless.

Someone spoke up, "Brother Huang, what you’re doing is a bit inappropriate. Bai He worked hard for her deal. Why not let it go, it’s not like you need it."

"Exactly, Brother Huang. I was right beside Bai He when she was checking the order. The car wasn’t sold, and no one paid any deposit!"

Huang Dagang didn’t expect everyone to side with Bai He, and he became even more infuriated, shouting, "How is it not? Let me tell you, someone came to see this car half a month ago. They paid the deposit this morning. I’ve got it on me; I just forgot because of something earlier. Now I remembered. What, shouldn’t there be a first-come-first-served rule?"

Saying this, Huang Dagang took out a bank card from his pocket, shook it, and said, "There’s a hundred thousand inside; it’s the deposit from the customer who reserved this car. Bai He, if your client wants to buy, they can choose another car, or wait ten days to half a month for us to get more stock from elsewhere!"

Bai He was trembling with anger; it was clear that Huang Dagang was playing tricks.

"You say someone placed a deposit just because you said so? I don’t believe it. I’m about to sign the contract here. Huang Dagang, don’t go too far!" Bai He replied.

Huang Dagang knew in his heart that originally, nobody wanted this car. He had just run inside, made a bunch of calls, and finally managed to pester an old client—a big boss who had come to look at cars half a month ago. It was also Huang Dagang who had received them at the time. The boss was considering buying a BMW X5 or X6 but didn’t purchase due to the high price. Huang Dagang always remembered this and had called a few times after, to which the boss said they’d consider if there were better deals.

Just now, with a surge of determination, Huang Dagang made a bunch of promises to the boss. He promised lifetime warranty services as long as he worked at the 4S shop. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t be feasible, but there’s always a loophole. Huang Dagang had done similar things before. On top of that, he promised the lowest bank loan interest rates. This meant that the boss was coerced into agreeing to buy the car while planning to finance it, unlike Li Yifei, who intended to pay the full amount upfront.

He did this simply to vent his anger, especially after overhearing Li Yifei say they wanted the car today. Now, having heard it, naturally, he wouldn’t let them have their way. Generally, it’s not just a simple matter of paying and driving away the car; there’s a series of formalities that take days to process.

You want to drive away? I won’t let you. My car sold first, and what can you do about it? Hearing Bai He’s questioning, Huang Dagang didn’t reply, and with a smug look, he was clearly provoking everyone.

His provocation got a response. Qin Muchu clenched his fist and swung a powerful punch that struck Huang Dagang square in the face, knocking him flat on his back to the ground.

"Whoa!" The onlookers were surprised by Qin Muchu’s actions. Seeing Huang Dagang get hit, they rushed in to break it up. This kind of fight couldn’t be allowed, especially in the shop or fighting with customers. If it’s not resolved quickly, everyone would be responsible.

Several security guards rushed in to break up the fight. Several sales staff also stood in between.

After taking a punch, Huang Dagang felt his entire face ache intensely, his nose so sore he couldn’t open his eyes. Fortunately, there was no blood. He struggled on the ground for a moment before getting up, pointing at Li Yifei and the others, shouting, "How dare you hit me! Everyone saw it. It was this person who hit me. I’m calling the police!"

"Call them! Let’s see who comes out on top!" With Li Yifei backing him, Qin Muchu didn’t mind standing up to a sales consultant, let alone a district chief. Though if it were the mayor, he might hesitate a bit.

Li Yifei’s face was stern, annoyed that buying a car was causing so much trouble, but with Qin Muchu stepping in first, it saved him the hassle of doing it himself.

Song Lianyao said, "Good punch, Muchu!"

Yin Feng’er, initially a bit worried, echoed her friend’s sentiment, "Muchu, scum like him deserve a beating. Who does he think he is!"

Bai He gritted her teeth but didn’t speak on behalf of Huang Dagang. Even after putting up with it this much, he still wouldn’t leave her alone. She could just quit this job if it came to that!

Huang Dagang nodded repeatedly, saying, "Okay, okay, none of you leave if you have the guts. Let’s see who plays who to death!" He prepared to call the police first, then call the manager and the boss. He already had his reasons ready—claiming people were wrecking the 4S shop. And having sold cars for years, he knew a few cops, even a Sub-bureau Chief in this area. He couldn’t believe he wouldn’t take these people down. Daring to hit me, I’ll make sure you pay a heavy price!
