Chapter 1769 - 1822: Another Encounter with Young Master Gu

Li Yifei arrived at the airport, with two hours left before his flight would take off. With nothing else to do, he went to the VIP lounge, ordered a cup of coffee and a few magazines.Originally planning to enjoy some quiet time, he unexpectedly overheard loud laughter from the back of the lounge, followed by an arrogant voice: "You little bitch, following me is the best you can do, right? Damn it, if you keep showing that face, I’ll have someone kill you!"

The lounge was meant to be a peaceful and enjoyable place; those with some manners wouldn’t make noise here. Yet, not only was this man being loud, he was spewing vile words, causing several people to frown and glance up, although the partition blocked them from seeing the situation clearly.

Li Yifei took a sip of coffee and felt the swearing voice was somewhat familiar, but couldn’t recall where he’d heard it before.

After a few more curses, still unsatisfied, the man stood up, grabbed the girl who was covering her face, too scared to look at him, yanked her up and said, "Damn it, if you dare resist again, hide or run, I’ll kill you!"

His words were crude and repulsive, but with the partition there, people couldn’t quite make out what’s going on. In a lounge like this, those who enjoy a good spectacle are less frequent; people might glance over, but few would stand up to see what’s happening.

Li Yifei’s hearing was sharper; he heard the sounds of clothes being torn, and the girl across the partition was crying even more intensely.

After another half-minute, Li Yifei put down his magazine and stood up. He originally didn’t intend to involve himself in such a bothersome issue, but since he’d encountered it, and felt maybe he ought to take a look, he decided to go over.

Turning towards the partition’s doorway, someone was standing there, back facing him, body conveniently blocking the door.

Inside, the sound of slapping echoed—not the kind associated with that kind of activity, but rather the man was hitting the woman. Through their dialogue, Li Yifei understood a bit: the girl saw the man had wealth and power and wanted to meet him; coincidentally, seeing her beauty, the man developed illicit intentions. But because the girl was not very obedient, the man became enraged.

"Move!" Li Yifei stood behind the person, his voice not loud yet startling the person blocking the door.

The man originally blocking the door was watching the spectacle; upon hearing the voice, he instinctively yelped, turned around, and saw Li Yifei. His eyes, initially glaring angrily, opened even wider when he saw Li Yifei, his mouth agape, eyes similarly widened; one hand raised intending to push someone, now trembled uncontrollably half-raised.

His mouth repeatedly uttered "ah ah ah," wearing the expression of someone seeing a ghost.

"Who?" The man inside stopped, looked towards the door, and after asking, said rather irritably: "Drive him out! Damn it, I’m in a bad mood today, just want to vent; whoever tries to stop me, I’ll kill him!"

This person’s tone was quite bold, projecting the aura of fearing no one, even if God himself came.

Inside stood several others; hearing this, they headed towards the door, while the person blocking the door... His lips trembled uncontrollably, finally managing to squeeze out words he’d held back: "It’s you, how did you come here?"

Apparently, this person knew Li Yifei, but judging by his appearance, he was clearly frightened.

Li Yifei thought for a moment before recognizing the man before him; he didn’t know the man’s name, but knew whose man he was.

The Gu Family—Li Yifei had taken down someone from the Gu Family named Gu Yandong. The person blocking the door was one of his underlings.

And the man inside cursing, Li Yifei also recalled who he was, no wonder the voice felt a bit familiar. To his surprise, it was indeed an acquaintance.

Li Yifei glanced at Gu Gan indifferently and said, "Move aside."

Inside, Gu Yandong tossed aside a belt he’d been holding, strode towards the door, and said, "Damn it, who dares interrupt me? You guys, grab that person and bring them in!"

Li Yifei naturally couldn’t know this woman either; he similarly cast a mild glance, pointed at the woman who had been hit and said, "If you don’t want to play with him, you can leave now. If you’re willing, I’ll leave right now, but make sure you keep quiet and don’t disturb me!"

The woman stared with wide eyes; she was quite young, only around twenty or possibly younger, face heavily made up, dressed revealingly, but that didn’t mean she was loose. Initially just curious, coincidentally Gu Yandong offered to take her out; she followed, not expecting him to try assaulting her here, scaring her into crying right away, which enraged Gu Yandong.
