Chapter 173: Enough Talk and More Action
Chapter 173: Enough Talk and More Action
“Anthony did something very similar before. There was this birthday party of one of our mutual friends. We were all invited to the party and ended up going together. I didn’t want to be there but Diana was insistent on dragging me along. I remember I felt like such a third wheel and I hated it...” I said in a light tone as I recalled my memories from that day.
Surprisingly, I found it easier to recount the story to Bradon now that I have started. I had no idea why I was suddenly telling him this or why I suddenly felt so talkative but it felt better than the silence that dwelled between us just a short while before. Even more surprisingly, was the fact that Bradon was silently and willingly listening to my tale.
“Someone said something that pissed me off and I decided to escape rather than making a scene. I didn’t want to ruin Diana’s date with Anthony, so I just walked away alone into the garden at the back of their mansion. This is going to sound so stupid, but it was dark and I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to watch my every step that I was taking and where I was going. The next thing I knew, I had already fallen into a body of water which I figured out afterwards was a pond in their garden...” I continued with my story before taking a pause.
It had been so long since I recalled this incident so I had forgotten just how much it could scare me. The cold and dark water that seemed to suck and swallow me up felt so opressive and suffocating. It felt like all I could do was sink slowly to the bottom. The scariest thing was what went through my head at that time rather than the fact that I was drowning. I felt so alone and empty and I thought that I didn’t mind just fading away completely without putting up a struggle because no one would find me there. It was a very impulsive thought and it frightened me beyond measure.
“I didn’t die, obviously. Anthony found me and rescued me. He told me that he came looking for me because I had disappeared for a while and he got worried. It’s so like him...” I quickly concluded my story.
Anthony’s outfit was dripping wet when we both made it out of the pond. He sat next to me as he stroked my back and the back of my head while repeatedly asking if I was fine. I was too shocked to give him an immediate answer and he ended up consoling me by telling me that everything was fine over and over again. Memories seemed to overlap over each other in my mind as my memory of Anthony in his wet clothes morphed into Bradon standing in front of me in his wet clothes.
Is that why I’m telling him this?
“I don’t know why I’m suddenly bringing this up right now. Anthony probably told you a concise version of this story already and there’s nothing so interesting about it. I guess what you did today sort of reminded me of that time...” I murmured as I looked away from him.
I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath in an attempt to calm the rapid beating of my heart and the tightness in my chest. That happened so long ago so I wans’t sure why I was suddenly feeling emotional about it. After that incident, I found out that the pond wasn’t at all that deep and I also made my decision to get over my fear and learn how to swim properly.
“Are you done?” Bradon asked coldly.
The bed let out a small creaking sound and then I felt a slightly heavy weight on top of my body. In one swift movement, Bradon climbed on top of me and straddled me. His intense blue gaze as he stared down at me from above told me that he wasn’t at all joking about this. I only managed to call out the first syllable of his name before his lips were on mine. Although I didn’t entirely believe that we could spend an entire night in a bedroom alone together without something like this happening, I had thought that I might be safe for tonight since he did seem to stay put during our conversation on the bed.
I’m so wrong...
His kiss felt immediately devouring as he crushedh is lips against mine. My heart raced in my chest as I made a small whimpering sound in my throat. Bradon’s wet tongue probed my lips before firmly thrusting in between them to meet with mine. His kiss felt hungry and very demanding as his tongue entwined with mine. Our kiss quickly grew deeper and wetter as I began kissing him back with equal fervor. I thought that he was tired from his trip to sort out his work but that didn’t seem to hinder him from any of this. His hand had already slipped into the front of my night gown where he cupped and then began massaging my soft womanly flesh.
“Wait...” I whispered between my harsh breathing when he finally freed my lips.
He smirked down at me as his squeezed my breast roughly. I let out a soft moan despite myself as my body writhed under him. My nipples felt tight and I knew that they had already hardened. Bradon bent down again, burying his face into the side of my neck. I heard myself let out a sigh that sounded so relieved and satisfied at the same time when he began kissing the sweet spot at the side of my neck. His small kisses didn’t seem enough, and soon he was sucking and licking my sensitive skin.
“Don’t worry. I’m not too tired to fuck my wife...” he whispered close to my ear.
“Ahh...” I moaned in response to his seductive words.
His hand rove around my breasts as he paid loving attention to each one.
