Substitute Bride: Utterly Pampered by Her Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1351: I Do

Chapter 1351: I Do

"Willow," Morgan Ashworth looked at Willow Crawford seriously, "are you willing to come with me?"

This time, his tone wasn’t domineering and forceful; instead, he was cautiously asking if she was willing to go with him.

She wasn’t an ordinary girl; she was Princess Willow Crawford, beloved by all, and leaving with him meant giving up so much.

Willow looked at him and nodded seriously, "I’m willing."

He was willing to give up everything for her, so she was naturally willing to sacrifice everything for him. From now on, he would no longer be the heir of The Merfolk Kingdom, and she wouldn’t be Princess Willow. Together, they could roam the world freely.

Hearing her say those three words, "I’m willing," Morgan Ashworth pulled her into his embrace tightly.

...

Morgan Ashworth wanted to take Willow away, but leaving wasn’t easy because Prince Rosen had already sent people to search the whole city for Willow’s whereabouts.

The two of them stayed in a small cottage; they couldn’t go to a big hotel as it would be too easy to get discovered. Morgan apologetically said, "Willow, we’ll have to make do here for the next few days. We can leave soon."

"Alright." Willow nodded, "The environment here isn’t too bad. I can handle it."

Although she was a pampered princess, she wasn’t fragile and could endure hardships.

"Willow, I’m going out for a while. Stay home and don’t go anywhere, okay?"

"Got it." Willow assured him she would be good.

Morgan Ashworth headed out.

With nothing to do alone in the cottage, Willow felt bored. It was almost noon, and around lunchtime, Morgan would surely be hungry when he returned. Perhaps she should try cooking herself!

Willow, who had never lifted a finger in the kitchen, decided to cook was indeed very bold.

Willow entered the kitchen. Though small, it was well-equipped. She looked at the ingredients and finally decided to make the simplest dish, scrambled eggs.

She cracked the eggs and put them in the pan, but soon felt a sharp pain on her fingertip; she had gotten burned.

Ah!

She let out a cry of pain.

Just then, Morgan Ashworth happened to return. He rushed over upon hearing her, "What happened?"

"I burned my hand," Willow said softly, like a child who had done something wrong.

Morgan immediately grabbed her finger and turned on the faucet to run cold water over the burn. Her skin was tender, and her fingertip was red from the burn. He furrowed his brow in pity, "How could you be so careless? Look at it!"

"I just wanted to make you a meal... but my eggs are burnt!" Willow exclaimed.

Morgan glanced into the pan; there was no oil, and the eggs were stuck to the bottom, obviously burned.

He was both exasperated and amused; this little princess had no idea how to cook, only adding to his troubles.

"Willow, have you ever cooked before?"

Willow felt heartbroken about her eggs, "No, this is my first time. I thought I’d show off my skills... Morgan, do you think I’m silly, that I can’t do anything right?"

Morgan reached out, pinched her pretty and cute little face. This high-and-mighty little princess not only squeezed into this little cottage with him but also cooked for him for the first time. It all felt like a dream.

"Yes, you’re silly, so from now on you’re not allowed in the kitchen!" Morgan ordered.

"But..."

"Willow, I’ll make sure you’re well-fed," Morgan assured her earnestly.

Willow blushed, breaking into a sweet smile.

Morgan took her little hand, "Willow, you must be hungry. Let’s go eat out."

"Can we go out? I’m afraid of being discovered." Willow expressed her concern.

Morgan smirked, "Don’t worry, everything is sorted out. We can leave tonight."

Willow was relieved; she knew he had a way to take her away. Even if the outside world was full of traps, he could help her take flight.

...

Morgan took Willow to a restaurant, "Willow, sit here, I’ll go order."

"Alright."

Morgan went to the counter while Willow sat there; she wore a baseball cap and had changed her clothes to avoid being recognized.

Just then, someone nearby said, "Look, the Crawford couple is here!"

The Crawford couple?

Hearing those words, Willow’s heart skipped a beat. Who else could be called the "Crawford couple" in the world but her parents?

Willow immediately looked up and saw a luxury Rolls-Royce speeding down the street through the glass window, followed by two black luxury cars speeding past, bringing forth a strong gust of wind with the aura of a business mogul. The scene was quite impressive.

Her parents were really here!

Hayden Crawford and Serena Sterling had arrived!

"Why are the Crawfords here? I haven’t seen Hayden Crawford, the richest man in the world, and legendary doctor Serena in a long time."

"Haven’t you heard? The Crawford couple’s precious daughter, Princess Willow, has gone missing."

"What? Where did Princess Willow go?"

"I don’t know. I heard some rumors that Princess Willow eloped with a poor boy."

"How is that possible? Princess Willow isn’t foolish. How could she have been lured away by a poor boy? Besides, could she really bear to leave her parents and two brothers, who are everything to her?"

Willow couldn’t hear what they were saying anymore. She quickly got up and ran out.

She hadn’t seen her parents in such a long time. Now that they were here, she couldn’t contain her yearning any longer. She ran after the Rolls-Royce in front of her.

Dad!

Mom!

But soon, Willow’s steps came to a halt. She couldn’t chase after them any further. If she left, what would happen to Morgan?

She had already promised to go with him.

Willow stood still, her fair eyes were flushed and filled with a shimmering, moist mist. She raised her small hand to cover her face and wept loudly.

I’m sorry.

Really sorry for disappointing her parents and brothers after so many years of care.

When Morgan Ashworth came out, he saw Willow with trembling shoulders, hiding her face and crying bitterly, looking like a lost child.

He walked up to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

Willow looked at him through teary eyes, then buried herself in his embrace, "Morgan, if I leave like this, my dad... mom... brothers...will be very sad. I don’t even dare... to say goodbye to them..."

Morgan understood, he knew it all. They had chosen an incredibly difficult path together. He gently embraced her and consoled her, "Willow, it’s just temporary. I promise you, once things settle down, I’ll take you back to see your dad, mom, and brothers. You’re always their daughter and sister."
