Chapter 274 274: Spiritias - The Demon War

Chapter 274 274: Spiritias - The Demon War

-----

Spiritias, Northern Continent, Middle of the Spirit Master Demon War Battlefield.

The smell of blood and sulfur coated the entire atmosphere. The sky was dark red, and the cries and roars of countless Demonic Beasts and Demons clashing against Spirit Masters echoed loudly across the entire battlefield.

Hundreds of thousands of corpses littered the battlefield, their blood drenching the earth a deep red, while demon flames fed on death and spread like seas of agonizing souls.

It had been only half a year since the war between the Demon Continent and the Spirit Continent began. The Supreme and Ultimate Leader of all Demons, the Limitless Archdemon Venerable, had declared war against the Spirit Continent and all other races.

The Demons, who had originated from the Hell Dimension that merged into Spiritias hundreds of thousands of years ago, had initially held a great relationship with humans. Despite their previous invasions, the Great Primordial Spirit Beast King had defeated all Seven Archdemons and their King, Lucifer, and had freed demons from their tyranny.

With all his effort and those of his family, the Great Primordial Spirit Beast King did everything he could to create a peaceful world where both demons and the other races—such as humans, elves, dwarves, and beast-men—could live together in harmony.

Unfortunately, this harmony did not last forever. After hundreds of thousands of years of ever-growing conflicts due to differences and ancient grudges between the old factions of Spiritias that persisted—such as the Elven Kingdom and the Dwarven Empire—conflict continued to escalate out of proportion.

The breaking point, however, was the Dimensional Labyrinth's arrival and the Dimensional Rifts spreading Corrupted Fantasy Fields across Spiritias. Entities and Grievances began to take over the world and, although Spiritias could handle them better than Earth at least, they gave Demons the power and resources to finally start their "rebellion."

Using Fantasium Crystals and the many other Treasures and Resources that the Dimensional Labyrinth brought with it, the Demon Faction grew tremendously powerful. Unlike the rest of the races who had to first refine the materials to make them useful, demon physiology made it easy for them to assimilate Fantasium without any drawbacks or repercussions, and they were incredibly compatible with its Mutations.

While humans, elves, dwarves, or beast people had to make sure not to absorb too much Fantasium, Demons swallowed as much as possible, even going to war against one another for these precious crystals. The more they ate, the stronger and larger they became. Many underwent mutations, becoming Pseudo Demon Entities, and later the strongest among them even turned into Pseudo Grievances, or Fractured, which were later referred to as the "New Seven Archdemons."

However, the Limitless Archdemon Venerable was not always a confrontational man. Born as a half-demon from a human woman who had become a demonic human through a ritual in her early years as part of an ancient Demonic Cult, he had grown fond of humans and had always attempted to create good relationships with them.

But the ever-growing necessity of the demons for resources—due to their larger population and how infertile the lands of the Demon Continent were compared to the Spirit Continent, and how demons were treated whenever they attempted to migrate to greener pastures—constantly made his resolve and righteousness falter.

However, what made him completely change his mind was the "Great Demon Settlement Massacre," where a large army of soldiers from the Empire of Light within the Central Continent completely slaughtered a large Demon Settlement that had been living their lives peacefully for almost fifty years on a small island near the northwest seas.

They had become incredible trading partners for the demon mainland and were becoming more and more popular. Every demon always wished to be able to move to that island.

But it all ended when they were completely exterminated. The entire city they had built with their effort and hands alone crumbled to dust, and all demons—even the children—were slaughtered.

And it turned out that just when that happened, his youngest daughter had gone there to visit and check the city for herself with her retainers.

And to his despair, she was among the victims of that massacre.

In that moment...

The Limitless Archdemon Venerable let go of all his past attachments, realizing that in this world demons would never be able to live in peace and prosper as long as the other races were here.

Even though they had been the ones that once attempted to invade Spiritias, even though their own world had been merged into Spiritias against their will, and even when they had attempted for hundreds of thousands of years to get along with humanity...

The Limitless Archdemon Venerable said, in the moment he learned the news about his dearest daughter's death... as he saw her burnt corpse delivered to his doorsteps by the King of the Empire of Light.

"No more."

Constantly suppressing his demonic instincts and assuming a human-like appearance, the Limitless Archdemon Venerable completely underwent a permanent metamorphosis into the being he is known as today. He gained the title of Limitless Archdemon Venerable after he became a Grievance and absorbed the power of Fantasium into his very being, mutating into the almighty entity he is now feared as.

Always holding back the Seven Archdemons and their Orders, he finally gave them the permission to start the war that they should have done much earlier—to completely slaughter all those that opposed demon kind and finally create a world only for them to govern.

Among the Seven New Archdemons, Myrghoul, the Archdemon of Infestation, Plague, Famine, Death, and Suffering, was sent to Earth to create the Order of the Fly and control that world as well, as the Limitless Archdemon Venerable was convinced by his advisors to expand demon kind's territory as far as possible.

The war had already begun even before the Dimensional Labyrinth started to devour everything into a twisted vortex, but when it all began, due to desperation over resources, the war broke out with incredible intensity like never seen before, with hundreds of thousands or even millions dead.

Both humans, elves, dwarves, beast people, and demons' corpses littered the battlefield equally. But while the Allied Races of Spiritias were strong, the Demons were simply superior in every way. They had hundreds of times their population numbers combined, and they also had incredibly strong "Elite" warriors named Demon Lords, who had undergone Entity Mutation and even Grievance Awakening.

Demons, uniquely capable of retaining their own sanity and minds even after mutating and growing powerful, became the ultimate beings, destined to govern not just Spiritias but even the other worlds.

"So Myrghoul is dead... And why exactly are you telling me this so late?"

And now, as the Demon King's Army continued to advance through the Northern Continent and began to close in on the Central Continent, also known as the Spirit Continent, the Limitless Archdemon Venerable sat over his throne of bones and skulls of all the humans he had killed with his bare hands, staring at the three Archdemons that had come to report what happened to Myrghoul.

The three Archdemons, all powerful beings comparable to Level 9 Grievances at this point, stared fearfully at the Limitless Archdemon Venerable—a being even beyond their rank, so powerful already before even mutating into what he became now that his new strength simply surpassed all norms and logic.

His figure was gigantic, over fifty meters tall, immensely muscular and bulky, with four enormous muscular arms. Each arm was of a different color; some had scales, others fur, some had spines. Each arm reflected a power he had obtained. They were known as the Limitless Archdemon Venerable's Eight Arms of Annihilation.

He had bright red skin besides his arms, with long cascading black and white hair, and sharp crimson-gold eyes with long white eyelashes and a sharp purple third eye in his forehead. His face, despite his monstrous and muscular form, was incredibly handsome, showing the beauty he had as a half-demon, inheriting the beauty of his mother since birth.

A crown of golden horns adorned his head, and golden flame-like tattoos spread across his crimson skin. He also possessed a large pair of enormous crimson wings with eyes constantly staring at the Archdemons.

His figure exuded an aura so potent it almost warped reality.

"Well... it is complicated. There is a time dilation within Earth because it has landed on Yggdrasil."

"The time it took the Vultarn High Dominion to return to the Demon Continent was too long."

"And so the news about Myrghoul's death and his failure to permanently possess the Holy Dragon Mother of Earth."

"..."

The Limitless Archdemon Venerable gazed at the three other Archdemons, each one resembling a bit the original precursors who had once become Demon Spirits under the control of the Great Primordial Spirit Beast King.

The original Archdemons had all been killed by him. Even as immortal spirits under the Primordial Spirit Beast King, the Limitless Archdemon Venerable's power had grown so vast he could permanently kill the Great Primordial Spirit Beast King's Summoned Spirits.

The traitors had already been dealt with; however, these new ones were still too shabby in some things, making the Demon Venerable's eyebrows twitch in annoyance.

"Your majesty?"

One of the three who dared to speak was a Succubus, Regalia, the Archdemon Queen of Emotional Manipulation, Soul Enslavement, and Mind Corruption. She had cascading purple hair, a third eye in her forehead, long black horns, and a slender and small body with pale white skin.

She was the ancestor of most of the demons sharing her similar features, which had also moved to the Vultarn High Dominion, giving birth to many hybrids with similar appearances.

"Myrghoul's death is truly tragic, but the Vultarn High Dominion was sent here and it has returned packed with resources he had taken from Earth, my lord."

The second to speak was a purple-skinned, tall and skinny demon with a bald head and a long nose, sharp white fangs and glowing red eyes. He was the creepiest of the seven, Nergal, the Archdemon King of Thievery, Deceit, and Enslavement.

"Once we're done wiping the floor with these humans, we may invade Yggdrasil and make the one that had killed him pay."

And the third and last was a wolf-headed and fur-covered werewolf-like demon with red and black fur, glowing golden eyes and a long black horn in his forehead, with four arms and sharp claws. He was the Archdemon King of Feral Savagery, Slaughter, and Pillaging, Beolwulf.

"..."

The Limitless Archdemon Venerable stared at them in silence for an awkward minute, resisting the urge to kill them for being such pathetic failures.

However, his hatred toward humans and... of somebody specifically was much greater than anything else in this world.

"I hardly care about Yggdrasil," he said. "And I don't even care about Myrghoul's death either."

"...?"

"...!"

"..."

"He was sent as an experiment to see how far our influence could go toward Earth. But now that he is dead he has proven to us that he was unfit for the job."

"Naturally!" Regalia nodded fervently.

"Of course, he was useless," Nergal said with a demonic sneer.

"I am glad he's gone," Beolwulf nodded, crossing his arms.

"However."

TRUUUM!

"Guh?!"

"Aagh!"

"Ngh?!"

The three Archdemons fell to their knees, vomiting blood as they felt their souls and bodies being crushed by an immense demonic force.

"I have also grown bored of your failures."

"F-Failures?!" Nergal gasped.

"For months now, you three have performed the worst among the other three. You are utterly useless and a waste of resources."

"W-What?! Wait, your majesty, give us another chance!" Regalia begged.

"You are simply unfit to be part of the world I am shaping."

"No, have mercy! We've served you with such loyalty! Why?! Why?!" Beolwulf screamed.

"Don't worry, you will not be killed. You will be devoured and become part of my power."

"...!!!"

The three archdemons felt their power beginning to be drained as the Limitless Archdemon Venerable opened his eight palms, revealing jaws in each one of them that absorbed their very essence, slowly turning all three of them into ashes.

"Wait! Please have mercyyyyyy!"

"Aaaagghhhh! How could you do this to us?! Us fellow demons are supposed to... work together..."

"Didn't you promise us a future...! Why...! Why now...?!"

"..."

But the Limitless Archdemon Venerable didn't flinch, staring at them emotionlessly. Even though they used to hate his previous self when he was kinder and more "human-like," now, after his daughter's death, the Great Demon King had truly become a completely different being altogether.

Devoid of what once made him human, devoid of his kindness, of his attachments... of his emotions. With the death of his wife years ago, he was already at the verge of losing it all if it wasn't for his children, but when his youngest—the last child he had with his wife—died so horrifically... his entire self shattered into countless pieces.

And from these fragments, something else awakened.

"I must kill the Great Primordial Spirit Beast King, so we can take over Spiritias... and finally end this suffering... this endless cycle... this spiral... of madness..."

"AAAAAAGGGHHHHH!"

The three Archdemons agonized, trying to fight back but ultimately being completely eaten by the Limitless Archdemon Venerable, which absorbed their powers, gaining even more.

Three new arms sprouted from his body, revealing the slight appearance of these Archdemons, their faces emerging as tattoos across his red skin.

"With these three new Archdemonic Authorities, I might be strong enough to face him... Today, I will kill you... Blake."

The Demon King stepped out of his walking demon fortress and then stepped in front of the advancing army. Millions of demons faced him in awe and silence.

"Demons! Today we shall break through the Alliance of Races and destroy their last wall of defense! The Summoner has tried but failed to stop us. And now... we shall show them, all of them! What we truly are made of. We will build a world for us, demons, alone!!!"

"OOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!"

All Demons roared in unison. Their Demonic Auras surged as the inspirational words of the Demon King possessed magical powers by themselves. Even the weakest soldier here was comparable to a Level 5 Grievance after that incredible buff.

"We're close... CHARGE!!!"

"RAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"

All Demons roared, charging across hundreds of kilometers in mere minutes due to their incredible physical abilities and speed. The Demon King used his abilities to warp space and make it even easier for them to reach their destination.

And indeed, it was right there—the last wall, a giant wall made of spiritual energy and built using billions of spirits, gleaming rainbow in color, blocking the demons from ever advancing into the Central Continent.

The Limitless Archdemon Venerable saw the approaching army composed of the strongest Spirit Masters of the Human, Elven, Dwarven, and Beast People Races, accompanied by millions of Summoned Spiritual Beasts, which were all under the control of the Great Primordial Spirit Beast King, the current ruler of the "Old World."

He could feel it; the Demon King could feel his presence! He was no longer just sending his troops while relaxing somewhere secluded. The Great Primordial Spirit Beast King, or as he was also known as the Summoner King, was finally here.

The Demons did not come alone either. With them came an army of hundreds of millions of mighty Demonic Beasts, all born from the Limitless Archdemon Venerable's blood. As he cut his own body, more of his blood poured out, birthing thousands of Demonic Beasts per second.

"You are no longer the only Summoner in this world, Blake... That privilege no longer belongs to you alone!"

With a mighty roar, the titanic Demon King advanced. His true size began to reveal itself; fifty meters was simply too small. There were demons larger than him after all.

Thus, he assumed his true form: hundred, two hundred, three hundred, five hundred, one kilometer, two, three, four, five...

Ten.

Twenty.

Thirty.

Forty.

Fifty.

One hundred.

RUMBLE!

His massive form, taller than the atmosphere of the gigantic Fantasy World, stared down at the walls that even reached as high as he did.

And then, after charging energy into his fists...

He unleashed the almighty power of the Limitless Archdemon Venerable's Eight Arms of Annihilation.

"Limitless Archdemon Venerable's Eight Arms of Annihilation."

"First Form."

"Apocalypse."

The eight palms descended, and the entire formation attempted to resist. Each fist spread cracks that couldn't completely regenerate before his fists hit it again.

And each fist hit as hard as a giant meteor descending at light speed toward the surface of the planet.

No matter how strong Blake was and how much power he poured into this barrier to stop the Demon Invasion...

It ultimately shattered.

BOOOMMM!!!

A massive explosion echoed everywhere as his army collided against the Continental Alliance of Spirit Masters. Every one of them was slaughtered by the stronger and superior demons, mostly relying on the Divine Beast King's Summons to fight back as much as they could.

"I-Impossible!"

"T-The barrier!"

"The Demon King shattered?!"

"No...!"

"After hundreds of thousands of years since peace was reached, is this how we will all fall?!"

"I knew it, we must have eliminated them all! These damned demons! I knew that one day they would come after us!"

"Their grudge is simply too big!"

"The Summoner King, that foolish man forgave them and was so kind to them, only because their ruler was one of his friends...!"

"Now look at this!"

"Our entire world is going to descend into hell!!!"

As the Spirit Masters screamed in agony, disbelief, and horror, the army of demons advanced. The three remaining Archdemons, the strongest of them all, roared, smashing and crushing the Spirit Masters as they slaughtered thousands of Divine Beasts with ease.

"WEAKLINGS! DIE AND PERISH!"

The one in the front was the biggest of them all, towering over three hundred meters and packed with four muscular arms and a body covered with red magma stones, with a pair of long burning horns and a single crimson-gold eye burning with flames. He was the Archdemon King of Brutality, Slaughter, and Destruction, Torturious.

He smashed his foes with his giant burning fists. The Spirit Masters gathered together to stop him—all sorts of people from every race, expert wizards, valiant young warriors, strong female warriors, and many more—all crushed, exploding into pieces as their guts splattered into the ground and their bodies were flattened.

He was unstoppable, and the Demon King's most favored as a result.

"Gahahahaha! It is finally time for reckoning, humans! You will pay for taking the life of the daughter of the Demon King! You were simply too foolish, weren't you?! Always on your high horse! Well, not anymore!"

A slender and handsome demon laughed, with pale white skin, long red and purple hair and a pair of long butterfly wings with eyes on them. His head was adorned by a pair of spiraling black horns and a third golden eye in his forehead. The Archdemon King of Famine, Pestilence, and Curses, Kiereinon laughed with awe, spreading endless fog and scales from the flapping of his wings, making all spirit masters and divine beasts agonize and dry out like mummies, dying on the spot despite their strength.

His method of killing was not through brutality but poisons, curses, and life-draining powers that his wings and body naturally exuded—a foul and deadly magic that had no counter at all. And the worst of all was that it didn't stop at killing them.

"Now rise, my beautiful children! Rise and feed on your enemies! Devour humanity and use their bodies to lay more eggs!"

From the corpses of those that had just died, or from the bodies of those that were strong enough to not die instantly but slowly feel their life drained away, giant butterfly monsters emerged, tearing blood, bones, and flesh, and beginning to fly, spreading more poison and curses.

And behind them came the third of the strongest Archdemons, the most mysterious and yet the most beautiful and with the greatest magic power. A beautiful demoness with long purple tentacles for legs and hair, pale blue skin and bright red eyes that spread across her face and through all her tentacles, wearing nun clothes and with dozens of powerful Demonic Grimoires floating around her body as she endlessly conjured destructive spells.

"Annihilation is coming, humans. And we will not leave a single one of you alive. We must cleanse this world of your malice so our children can prosper in a world without fear."

She placed her hands together and prayed to the Demon Spirit God, Angra Mainyu, the God born from the suffering and pleas of all Demons as they found themselves in a world with no guardian. While the rest of the world of Spiritias enjoyed many Elemental Holy Spirits as their Gods, always protecting them, the demons had none, so they made their own god, and their prayers made him real.

His Divine Demonic Power surged from her body as her spells became even more destructive. Beams of annihilation disintegrated thousands of divine beast summons, dragons, titans, gods, and many beings that the Summoner King summoned, while the Spirit Masters hid or ran away, only to get crushed or poisoned and turned into cocoons by the other two Archdemons.

"Well done, my Archdemons. Unlike those that I have devoured, you truly are my strongest," they gained the immediate praise of the Demon King as his gigantic figure walked across the land. "Let us advance toward the Spirit Continent. From there, we shall spread our demon army and conquer the Empire of Light and all other adjacent Kingdoms in mere hours. This world is one step from being completely ours!"

"Yes, master!"

"Naturally, my lord!"

"It will be done as our lord says!"

The Demon King advanced with his troops. As they faced the sea connecting to the Central Continent after crushing the last forces in the Northern Continent, he simply smashed the ground with his foot.

BOOOMMM!!!

And created a path made of rising stone toward the Central Continent. Space had been altered so teleportation became harder to do, and this was much more efficient nonetheless, as all his demons moved incredibly quickly.

He stepped into the seas alone as he shook them and evaporated them with his heat, rapidly beginning to spread a massive drought across his surroundings, evaporating 20% of the ocean until there was enough space for everyone to walk through.

In awe and joy, the demons charged, slaughtering anything that got in their way, until they finally reached the Central Continent, where a giant flowing tree made of divine gold and emerald light awaited them, accompanied by three prominent figures and an army of billions of Divine Beasts, Dragons, Titans, Machines, Undead, Vampires, and Gods—all of them Spirits that He summoned.

They exuded immense power as several layers of buffing auras covered each and every single one of them, while glistening with holy power to make them extra effective against the demons.

"That's enough, Erdrich. You don't need to keep doing this."

And a voice echoed, so strong, powerful, and almighty that it forced all the demons to halt their advancement. The pressure was immense, covering their bodies and forcing them almost to kneel before Him.

However, the Demon King, Erdrich, surged with his eight different demonic auras, fusing them together into a sea of demonic energy that covered his demon army, healing them from their weakened states and empowering them even further.

"You're finally here."

The Limitless Archdemon Venerable's glowing eyes gazed upon the small, human-sized figure of the Summoner King, also known worldwide as the Great Primordial Spirit Beast King after being deified after hundreds of thousands of years since saving Spiritias from the Demon Invasion.

And as he had always seemed to be on the surface, the Summoner King, Blake, was born as a normal human being and looked like one. A tall, slender man with pale white skin, long black hair and sharp red eyes. His ears were slightly pointy, however, and he exuded an aura of blood and darkness initially.

The reason was simple.

The Summoner King was a Vampire.

"Erdrich, I am sorry for what happened to your daughter. But that does not justify what you're doing right now. Why keep doing this? Why insist on fighting?"

"I am fighting to take revenge on humanity for what they did to us. I will no longer tolerate any more abuse. Demons are to be respected and feared, and we will only let those that know that live."

"After you helped me fight and defeat Lucifer with everyone else... is this really how it is now?"

"It's been almost a million years since then."

"..."

"People change, Blake. Perhaps you're forever stagnant in your paradise, with your wives that never age like you, with your family of vampires that cannot die... living a blissful life, while I have been working every day, every year, just for the demon's sake."

"I could have helped; you could have asked me to help."

"I did multiple times. Every time you did it more and more halfheartedly. Afterward, what happened? You stopped caring about the world and went to live in seclusion. You let humans do whatever they wanted... and that led to my daughter, to everyone in that island's death."

"The culprits have paid; I already personally executed them... I can show you their bodies, even their souls, right here. Let's stop this."

"Hah?"

The Demon King's face twisted in disbelief as the Summoner King dropped a pile of corpses in front of him and offered him the souls of all the soldiers and knights, even the generals and politicians behind this.

In this time, he had already taken care of his revenge, leaving the Demon King completely... shocked.

But at the same time, the Demon King slowly reduced his size to match Blake's, compressing his power within a smaller body to form even greater power than before.

That giant body was merely just to intimidate his foes and destroy large things easily after all.

"Hahah... HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

He laughed.

The Demon King grabbed his face and laughed. Even small tears appeared in his eyes as he laughed, leaving both the Continental Alliance and the Demon Army speechless.

The Demons, ever since their King transformed into the Limitless Archdemon Venerable, had never seen him laugh or express any other emotions before.

"..."

Blake simply stared at him in silence, realizing that his old friend had gone through so much on his own and that perhaps... he should never have left him behind.

While others were able to live their own lives, Erdrich had such a complicated existence, always questioning himself, that he never realized that, despite always saying that he was fine.

He truly wasn't fine.

"I know that when you needed me the most as your friend... I let you down," sighed Blake. "I should've been there when that happened. I could've prevented this. I could've revived your daughter and—"

"Revive her? You mean enslave her into a pitiful summon? Into your familiar?"

Suddenly, the atmosphere became tense as everything darkened and the smell of blood and sulfur spread everywhere.

The Demon King was furious.

"No, I mean..."

"You know what I mean. I killed them, those pathetic Archdemons. Leviathan, Lilith, Satan, and so on, all of those pathetic traitors. Before, your summons were invincible. No matter how much they were killed, they could be summoned again, but you no longer can do that, correct?"

"..."

"I have attained immense strength, strength that I will now use to show you the pain and grief of not just me but of us demons—the collective agony and pain we've suffered for hundreds of thousands of years, Blake."

"Why?! I've already avenged your daughter! Why do you pursue this?! It's nonsensical. You've never been this way—"

"Why are you so sure?"

"...!"

"You seem so confident about me. You believe you know me? You think you actually know me? After hundreds of thousands of years since the last time we met?"

"...Erdrich, I...!"

"Enough."

"What?"

"I will not accept your offering of corpses and souls I no longer care about. What is the point of taking revenge if I don't do it with my own hands?"

"But..."

"You've always been a stupid bastard, haven't you? You've never understood how people think. You've always struggled about how someone's mind works. I bet you still struggle with your own wives."

"Enough. I won't let you talk about them like this."

"But is it wrong? You've always been cold and scheming. You killed my own mother in cold blood just because she was desperate and panicking!"

"What?! Is this what this is all about?! You... you still hold a grudge against me... over that?"

"It never left me. Deep down, I always kind of hated you. I forced myself to befriend you, to care about you and everyone else, mostly out of guilt. I've always felt guilty about my own existence, about my cursed upbringing... you, the entire world, you all made me feel that way."

"...!"

"But these people... my demons. They welcomed me. They became my family. They called me their king... and then I understood my true purpose. And I say... no more."

Blake tried to stay calm and composed, trying to reason with Erdrich until the very last moment.

"Wait, Erdrich. I don't want to fight you."

"Then die."

BOOOMMM!!!

Before Blake could react, the Demon King smashed his body across the central continent with all eight of his fists, sending him crashing through mountains into a vast forest, and then hitting the sea right at the other side of the continent, traveling thousands of kilometers in mere seconds.

SPLAAASH!

"Nnnggh?!"

Blake groaned as he felt Erdrich grab him by the neck and lift him, emerging from the sea as half of what was visible evaporated instantly into a sea of white steam.

BOOOM!

As they both reached the skies, Erdrich roared, charging energy into his fists and attacking with the intent to kill his old friend.

"This is... FOR MY MOTHER!"

Blake's eyes widened as he saw Erdrich exuding tremendous power he never had before. His eight fists blazed and warped space, channeling all his strength and energy into a single destructive attack.

"Limitless Archdemon Venerable's Eight Arms of Annihilation."

"FIRST FORM! – APOCALYPSE!!!"

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
