Chapter 271 271: What We Must Do
Chapter 271 271: What We Must Do
-----
After Louis and House Frostbane spent a full year resting and preparing for what was to come, they gathered inside Drakeheart Castle, where the Dragon King greeted them.
"Thank you all for coming today. I have called you here to discuss what is happening not only in this world, but across the entire Universe. The two largest points of dimensional distortion, Earth, Spiritias, and Zipangu, are currently under invasion by the Dimensional Labyrinth and the enemy forces that planned this assault long ago.
As many of you already know, the Dimensional Labyrinth is actually a living organism known as the 'Precursor.' It is currently being controlled to accelerate its digestion of our Universe and the worlds we inhabit.
The ones behind this, as we have identified, are Oblivion himself and his three surviving Venerables, those that belong to the other parts of his body that have yet to be destroyed. In this long war against him, this is the only time we have managed to weaken so many of his aspects.
For those who do not remember, the Five Seats are Oblivion's Eyes, Mouths, Hands, and everything he uses to exert dominion over the Universe. They are:
The Seat of Observation and Judgement, the Ancient Celestial Calendar Venerable.
The Seat of Devouring Hunger, the Abyss-Devouring Gluttonous Tyrant.
The Seat of Equilibrium and Void, the Eternal Balance Immortal Sovereign.
The Seat of Eternal War and Ruin, the Blood-Soaked Slaughter Dao Lord.
And lastly...
The Seat of Whispered Lies and Forgotten Truths, the Shadow-Veiled Deception Monarch.
All of their names have been deciphered after thousands of years of confronting them and traveling across the Dimensional Labyrinth and the Universe. So far, it has been confirmed that the Ancient Celestial Calendar Venerable and the Abyss-Devouring Gluttonous Tyrant have been slain, while the Blood-Soaked Slaughter Dao Lord has been significantly weakened after his vessel was destroyed."
The Dragon King stood before a large crowd that included Louis, his parents, and House Frostbane. Dragons, Giants, Elves, and even Humans filled the hall, all gathered within the Palace of Drakeheart Castle.
"Excuse me, Drake. Who was the one that weakened the Blood-Soaked Slaughter Dao Lord?"
A clear voice rang out from the audience. All eyes turned toward a small, slender figure seated on a throne of golden branches. She had cascading blonde hair, emerald eyes, and wore a graceful white, green, and gold dress. A crown of golden branches adorned with flowers and jewels rested upon her head. She sat with natural majesty.
Exuding an seemingly endless source of Mana and several Ascendancy Laws tied to her Aura and Soul, this dignified and beautiful woman, blessed by the spirits and Yggdrasil herself, was Alma, the Queen of All Elves and Ruler of Alfheim.
She was also one of the Dragon King's many wives.
"Alma, yes, it was Surtr," the Dragon King replied with a kind smile to his beloved wife. "Right, son?"
"Yes," Surtr answered. "He had taken over 'Avalon,' a powerful Grievance that had been living hidden within Camelot. It was originally a guardian of the country, but after it was possessed, it became a raging monster that had to be taken down. While fighting it, I was able to harm his Cosmic Avatar and his True Soul. At first I thought he had died, but it appears his presence still lingers. He is definitely tougher than the ones Louis and his House fought."
"Hmm, I see..." the Elven Queen nodded, sighing. "Damn it, Surtr. Couldn't you have taken him down yourself? Are you getting rusty or something?"
"R-Rusty?! I train almost every day..." Surtr felt offended. Despite his great stature and power, he spoke to the small elven woman as an equal. "Venerables are beings that exist across many Planes of Reality. Killing them is tricky because you often have to defeat them twice, sometimes three times."
"Anyway, let us return to the main topic," the Dragon King said as he continued his speech.
"We must now unify our power and train before the ultimate battle. Just as we once unified and trained to face the Dimensional Vortex that opened at the center of Yggdrasil, provoked by several opposing forces seeking their own gains, something similar is happening now, but on an even grander scale."
Suddenly, a gorgeous young Dragonoid woman stepped forward. She had pale blue skin, short silver hair, and gray eyes. Metallic silver scales covered parts of her body, along with metallic horns and wings that appeared built from mechanical parts, as if she were half machine.
"My daughter, the Technomancy Dragon Queen, Kate, will explain things to you more thoroughly with this hologram."
"Thank you, Father," Kate nodded. She waved her hand, and a large hologram emerged before everyone, displaying a vast space where three worlds intermingled.
"As you can see, a massive Vortex is being formed by the Dimensional Labyrinth. It is spreading between all Fantasy Worlds, and the one on Earth is only making things worse. As of now, Spiritias, Zipangu, and Yggdrasil will be slowly swallowed into this vortex, and eventually the rest of the universe with them.
This vortex leads directly to the depths of the Dimensional Labyrinth, a parallel dimension known as the Void Realm, where a Precursor digests its food. We presume Oblivion is controlling this Precursor so it can not only devour these Fantasy Worlds but also adapt to consuming Fantasium.
Afterward, he will likely use it to devour the entire Fantasium Dimension where the Spirals exist. Once he refines that power through the Void Dimension, Oblivion will gain total control over all Fantasium and the ability to overwrite reality entirely."
Everyone fell silent after hearing those words. What Oblivion had been doing this entire time had been for that sole purpose: to finally gain enough power to overwrite reality and do as he pleased.
Louis could not help but ask, "Why does he aim so fervently to overwrite reality? What is his main goal? And how are you all so certain this is everything he wants?"
"Louis... it is nice to see you," Kate smiled. "You are my big sister's son, are you not? To answer your question, it is not as if we have never met him before. Forty thousand years ago, he attacked Yggdrasil with his forces and the Five Seats, accompanied by an army of Celestials, his own creations. They were god-like beings with immense power that originated from his Realm, Heaven.
Back then, he originally attempted to recruit me so I could join his cause. But after I learned he intended to refine me and turn me into his Sixth Venerable, I refused. He then decided to take over the entire world by force. That is when we fought him, and we won," Drake said with a smile. "Ultimately, the bastard realized we were too strong and escaped after I killed his Five Seats. Now he has new ones, and those two that just died recently might be replaced soon. This is why we must strike now."
"But how do we do that, Grandfather? Where is he anyway? If he is a being that can travel across the universe, how can we figure out exactly where he is?" Louis asked.
"Patience," Drake replied. "I have been tracking him this entire time. I know where he is right now. Where else but in the depths of the Dimensional Labyrinth's Heart? He has placed Heaven itself there, using it to refine the Precursor's Multidimensional Core and control it."
"...!!!" Louis and everyone else finally understood. "So that is where he is?! Then... how many floors of the Dimensional Labyrinth do we need to get through to reach him?"
"A few hundred," Drake said. "However, the Vortex itself is a unique opportunity. It is being created to swallow the three Fantasy Worlds, but we will use it to travel directly to where Oblivion is and finish him off."
"Just like that?" Louis asked.
"It is not so simple," Kate said. "All of you need to become stronger, especially you, Louis. It is quite clear now that you were made to defeat him."
"...Am I?"
"The Time Heart you possess, which allowed you to return to the past after dying, is the key," the Dragon King explained. "Right now, while Oblivion attempts to devour the Fantasy Worlds through the Precursor, he is also expanding his dominion over the Fantasium Dimension, growing in power as he cultivates the purest Fantasium. I have done the same, and so have you. However, only you possess this destiny connected to Oblivion. I am not sure what happened in the Prime Timeline that made you so connected to him, but this connection is the key to defeating him."
"You cannot defeat him, Grandfather?" Louis asked.
"I have grown stronger since the last time we fought," the Dragon King smiled. "Can I defeat him? Well, the thing is, I am tied to Yggdrasil. I cannot easily go anywhere I want. You are not bound in the same way. If I go there, I would have to bring Yggdrasil along, risking it being digested. I cannot do that."
"I see," Louis nodded. "So it is all up to me once I get there?"
The Dragon King smiled with confidence.
"No, I will help you. There are many ways for me to manifest outside of Yggdrasil. I have never tried it on Earth because that small planet would explode the moment I descended. However, things are different now. I can send my strongest Living Avatar, one I have been growing and cultivating this entire time to carry nearly all of my power. It is a perfect vessel for my true strength. It is still under creation and not completely perfect yet.
In the time it takes to perfect it, we will train. Louis, no, all of you will learn and be mentored by the strongest beings of Yggdrasil. Your goal is to break through into the Galaxy Monarch Realm at the very least. You all have the potential, so do not disappoint us.
However, I am certain that in a decade, with all the resources and opportunities we will provide, plus the power of the Andromeda System, it will definitely be possible for all of you to grow far stronger."
House Frostbane was stunned. For some reason, a great deal of what everyone depended on now rested on their shoulders.
"Why us?" Timothy asked boldly. "We... well, at least I am not really anything special... I am just some guy."
"I think the same," Agustina added. "Compared to all of you incredible beings, gods, dragons, titans... what makes us even worth your time?"
"I am also rather curious!" Zorba said.
"Hahaha, so you have not realized it yet?"
"Do you kids really believe you are not special?"
"Incredible. Are they that clueless?"
"I suppose Earth was a truly harsh place if it makes them believe they are below us..."
"Are they for real?"
They received mixed reactions from everyone present. Gods, Elves, Dragons, Titans, and more all looked shocked that these young ones believed they were lesser.
"Ahem, silence," the Dragon King said. "Young ones, you seem to be completely mistaken. There is something incredibly special about you. Although part of it comes from the bonds you have shared with Louis, to the point your Bonds have become permanently connected and created a Unified Fate, there is something more. You are incredible Spiralwalkers and the most attuned with the Fantasium Dimension as of now. Although you are still not at Tier 0, reaching it is only a matter of time and training. Your talent is enough to go beyond Tier 0 and become True Beyonders."
"W-What?!" Agustina asked.
"But we are only Tier 3 at most..." Anastasia said.
"Is this real?" Melisa asked.
"It is," said another tall figure standing beside the Dragon King. "You are all incredibly special. Your power, born from your Bonds and your relentless effort, is the most genuine. None of us present here is as attuned to the Fantasium Dimension and the Spirals of Fate as any of you. Most of us have chosen traditional Ascendancy Law Cultivation because we are completely incompatible with Spiral of Fate Cultivation. But Louis found a way and shared it with you, creating this incredible miracle. You are the most special among all of us."
She was a giantess with blue skin, long white hair, and golden eyes. Dark purple scales covered her body, along with black-blue dragon horns, a dragon tail, and wings. She was both an Ice Titan and a Chaos Dragon.
Belladaan, the Dragon King's first wife and mother of Benladra, Louis's grandmother.
A unique existence, Louis had learned about her after speaking with his grandfather and reading Yggdrasil's archives and history. She had originally been only an Ice Giantess, the first the Dragon King met on his journey.
Through her incredible powers and natural affinity, she had bonded with Chaos Spirits left from the Ancient Ragnarok long ago, absorbing their power and taming them within her Chaos Realm.
At the same time, her power allowed her to absorb the Chaos Dragon Fragments belonging to Ragnarok, the Ancient Chaos Dragon created by Chaos himself, one of the First Summoned Souls and wielder of the Primordial Concept of Chaos.
After being possessed by thousands of Chaos Spirits, the Primordial Mother of Light Dragons had mutated into the First Chaos Dragon, a calamity that nearly destroyed ancient Yggdrasil.
However, through the combined effort of Yggdrasil's Venerables, she was frozen and then cut into five fragments. Due to her immense power, she was once thought to be indestructible.
That was until Belladaan appeared. She began absorbing the fragments of the Chaos Dragon one by one, obtaining their powers and awakening as a Chaos Dragon herself.
Though this only made Louis more curious about why his mother had not inherited the power of Chaos Dragons, while her brother Drakda and a few others had.
By Belladaan's side stood someone else who agreed with her words.
"That is right, so please stop looking down on yourselves or saying such things. You guys are incredible and very special! Honestly, it makes me angry but... we are relying on you."
She looked a little like Belladaan, but her skin was more purple than blue, and she had long cascading black hair. With sharp red eyes, long black horns, and demon-like wings and tail, she was Miranda. In a sense, she was Belladaan's alter ego, her "twin sister," and once a parasitizing alien known as "The Mold" that had transmigrated with her after her tragic death on Earth many years ago.
After dying with her host, Miranda had reincarnated as Belladaan's Unique Skill and slowly stopped being a monster as she realized she could be her own person. She took the original name Belladaan once had as a human from Earth and, over time, evolved into a powerful Demon Spirit while continuously improving her shapeshifting and parasitizing abilities, now used for good.
After a long time, she also became the Dragon King's second wife and the mother of Drakda and many more Demon and Chaos Dragons who inherited her incredible powers in some capacity. She was quite literally the precursor of the Demon and Chaos Dragon families, giving birth to thirty in total for each.
Drakda was known as the strongest and oldest of them all, and now he was going to undergo a special ritual to regain and reawaken all the power he had lost due to rustiness.
But that was beside the point.
Her words and those of Belladaan resonated deeply with House Frostbane, making them realize just how special they truly were.
Among everyone present, nobody had achieved the levels of Spiral Cultivation they had reached. Even those vastly stronger than them simply were not comparable in this regard.
This was very special and important because they were going to fight someone who had quite literally created the Spiral of Fate for his own growth as he refined and absorbed the power of the Fantasium Dimension.
Oblivion.
"The only way to defeat Oblivion completely is to use the same power he created against him," the Dragon King said. "That is why you, the wielders of the Spiral of Fate, are our only hope."
Everyone was left speechless. They had gone from one revelation to another, but now it almost felt like they had finally found their true goal, their true purpose in life.
Although they were a little scared, they were also excited and eager to show everyone, and the world, how truly strong they were.
Above all, they looked forward to using their power to finally end this once and for all.
"Now, as for the entire plan, we will get there in time," the Dragon King said. "Although the situation is dire, Yggdrasil's time has been accelerated as much as possible. We have roughly two decades now to train you all into what might become our greatest hope. But it is not like we are putting all that weight on your shoulders alone. We will fight with all our might as well. And all of you will train too, right?" He stared at his fellow dragons and the many children who had come to see the meeting. They all nodded, some more nervously than others. "Alright! Now that the proper talk is done, you are all dismissed. Tomorrow morning, all of House Frostbane must come here. I will personally assign you your Masters who will help you squeeze every bit of power within you over the next two decades, so get mentally prepared. Also, good thing your wives gave birth already, so being pregnant will not be an excuse to not train hard."
"Um, am I included in this?" Catrise wondered, tilting her head. Although she was not part of House Frostbane, Louis had always seen her as a second mother. Her bond with him was actually very strong.
"Yeah, Catrise," Benladra said. "I will be training you myself. Also, Louis should help you awaken your Spiral."
"Spiral?! Me?" Catrise was shocked. "D-Do I even have the talent for such a thing, my prince?"
"You do," Louis said. "And it seems like a very special one as well. We will awaken it today. How about it, Mother?"
"Sure! Something to do for today is fine by me. Let us go!" Benladra nodded. "Dear, want to help?"
"Ah, of course. I think I might be of help. I have brought plenty of the technology from the lab with me," Gustaf said, nodding.
While the Dragon King continued speaking with the rest of House Frostbane to motivate them and answer their questions, Louis walked away with Catrise and his mother toward a higher floor in the Great Frost Castle Palace of the Drakeheart Empire.
As he had heard, the castle was immense and always busy. Dragons, giants, humans, elves, dwarves, beast people, and more moved from one place to another, all exuding the power of gods.
Some of them were familiar faces that Benladra recognized and greeted. Some were even her little siblings, leaving Louis shocked by the age difference, as some genuinely looked like teenagers compared to his mother.
The Dragon King was a truly active man. Even at his age, he was still having children from time to time. And despite having so many, he took care of them all with great love, always said to have never neglected a single child in his life.
Once they reached a vast white space filled with technology Louis had never seen before, the family was greeted by Kate once more. She smiled warmly at them.
"Welcome back, everyone. I heard you wanted to awaken Catrise's Spiral. Most of us have little affinity with the True Spirals of Fate, though we once awakened Archetypes. That was mostly because Oblivion used us as 'beta testers,'" Kate sighed, showcasing her own "Incarnation," though she called it an Archetype.
"Woah, what is that?!" Catrise gasped.
"An Archetype," Benladra explained. Although she was no Spiralwalker, she also summoned hers. "They are ancient forms of Incarnations, designed by Oblivion at the beginning of his expansion into the Fantasium Dimension. He originally granted my father a fragment of his soul, which he absorbed and allowed him to awaken his first, the Dragoon Knight. From then on, my father was able to use the connections and bonds he made with us to allow others to awaken new Archetypes, all based on our own dreams, powers, family, desires, and so on. Mine is called the Stellar Scale Oracle. It has evolved a couple of times."
"Mine is the Supreme Artificer," Kate explained. "As you can see, they are similar to Archetypes, right? Though much more robotic and ancient in design. Unlike Spiralwalkers with their specifically designed Spirals that have been established as Authorities within the Fantasium Dimension, Archetypes are more like Personal Spirits reflecting one's soul. Incarnations can be the same, of course, but not always."
Louis admired the Archetypes of his mother and his aunt. Both were quite unique. The Stellar Oracle resembled a tall and beautiful slender woman made of gold and white metal, wearing a dress of metallic golden scales and holding a long scepter that exuded starlight energy.
Meanwhile, his aunt's Archetype was a tall, muscular-looking giant made of metal with many hands, each one carrying special tools to craft incredible items as he pleased.
"Unlike Spiralwalkers, our Archetypes have Levels, Skills, and Bonuses, but that is about it. They grow with us but are more like Spiritual Familiars than the incredible things Incarnations can do," Benladra said with a smile. "Nonetheless, they are partners we have not abandoned. Father rejected Oblivion, though, so he is no longer capable of allowing others to awaken Archetypes like he once did, as he lost that power, though not his own, which has continuously evolved with him."
"Huh, well, that is incredible," Louis nodded. "I had no idea such a thing existed..."
From all the game knowledge he had from William, there was no mention of this. All of it was completely new lore, leaving Louis even more amazed.
"Anyway, one of the reasons we are not compatible with Spirals is because of that," Benladra said. "Nonetheless, Catrise, step into this circle. Dear, are you helping?"
"Yeah!" Gustaf nodded. "Sorry, I was caught up in the whole conversation about Archetypes. What a fascinating subject. So Oblivion was 'beta testing' the Spirals themselves back then? Such knowledge would never have left Yggdrasil. That is not something you ever told me about."
"Well, at our level we keep our Archetypes permanently fused with us," Benladra said. "But the scepter I can summon, the spear, or the armor are not exactly Soul Treasures but the Archetypes' own 'Sacred Record Gear.' Items that grow stronger along with the Archetype, tied to it, which we can summon at will. New Incarnations do not have that?"
"They do. Most come with weapons, tools, armor, and so on," Louis said. "And through Incarnation Fusion, a similar or even greater effect can be achieved. I had collected many Archetypes, and through my despair in those five hundred regressions, they all came together into this Supreme Incarnation, a Crown representing the endless cycle of life and death, Uroboros."
"Truly fascinating, son," Gustaf said, readjusting his glasses. "You would not mind me checking on it later?"
"Maybe," Louis smiled. "This crown is special. It can shapeshift into any of the Incarnations it was made of or even summon them separately, up to four at a time right now." Louis showed what he could do, leaving his family speechless as he summoned multiple incredibly strong Tier 2 Incarnations.
"W-Woah! See?! This is why you are so amazing and important!" Benladra said, laughing.
"Incredible. Your son is truly amazingly talented, big sis..." Kate said, nodding. "Incarnations, the finished form of Archetypes... they are indeed the strongest."
"Now, let us begin," Gustaf said. He placed his machines and then began a Spiral Scan and Awakening Ritual with Catrise at the center of the magic circle.
"I am nervous..." Catrise said. Despite being four hundred years old, she acted cute and babyish with her husband nowadays.
"It is fine. You will be alright," Louis said. "Be strong."
"Hm!" Catrise nodded more confidently, closed her eyes, and began to concentrate.
The devices rotated around her rapidly, forming rings of light that then generated a surge of Fantasium Energy everywhere, creating a pillar of rainbow light.
Slowly, Catrise began to see something within her, something that had already begun to awaken beforehand as her Bond of Love with Louis reached Level 10.
It began as a small white dot, but it expanded into several rings, descending and ascending at the same time, creating something...
An Endless Spiral.
The Descending Spiral led to the Spiral of Madness, which was the one most awakened normally.
However, the Ascending Spiral led to the Spiral of Hope, the rarest to awaken.
To awaken both meant that she had awakened the complete Spiral, the Spiral of Fate.
And this Spiral of Fate led to a Pathway, a sense, a purpose, a dream.
It was the combined subconscious of humanity birthing this into existence, along with Catrise's own conviction, her long life, and much more.
Until she heard it, whispering its name to her.
An almighty and imposing voice spoke to her as a new legacy was born.
"Awaken your Spiral, oh Warrior Priestess of Light, Protector of the Weak and Lover of Justice."
"Thou art..."
"The Spiral of the Eternal Guardian."
A brilliant surge of pure white and golden light erupted from Catrise's body, flooding the entire chamber with warm, sacred energy that felt like sunlight filtered through stained glass and morning dew. The pillar of rainbow Fantasium Energy around her transformed, its colors condensing into shimmering halos of platinum and rose gold that spun gently around her form.
Catrise's eyes snapped open, glowing with soft golden radiance. Tears of pure emotion rolled down her cheeks as the voice continued to echo within her soul, gentle yet absolute.
"Thou art the Spiral of the Eternal Guardian, the Light that pierces the Veil of Despair, the Shield of the Innocent, the Blade that severs the Chains of Tyranny. Walk the path of the Protector of Light. Where darkness devours, you shall restore. Where hope fades, you shall reignite. Where justice is forgotten, you shall remember."
As she slowly stabilized, Catrise nearly fell, but Louis caught her before she could collapse. When he asked how she felt, she answered with a single word. "Warm... I feel warm. It is truly... bizarre. Am I the oldest person to get a Spiral?"
"Likely," Gustaf nodded. "All Spiralwalkers are young people. From our age... no ancient person, let alone the old races of Yggdrasil, has fully awakened them. Perhaps their youngest children, but not... someone of your age. Sorry if it sounded harsh."
"No, it did not," Catrise smiled, slowly feeling relieved and revitalized by the radiant light around her. "I think... this is my Incarnation?"
By her side, a tall figure suddenly manifested: an armored female clad in golden and white armor with draconic motifs. Its helmet almost resembled Louis's dragon form, tyrannical and intimidating, yet made of light and pure pristine white void.
It held a large white and gold hammer shaped like the head of a dragon as well, leaving everyone speechless. The Incarnation seemed almost completely designed as a homage to Louis himself, a guardian born from their bond.
"What is it called?" Louis asked.
"The Draconian Paladin," Catrise said with a smile. "Ah, what Tier am I? I feel like there are multiple Abilities within me..."
"Indeed! Your stats have skyrocketed," Gustaf said.
"Incredible. Is this because she was already so strong? Her Spiral has awakened at Tier 5! Not Tier 9..." Kate said. "It makes sense why she has multiple Abilities, and above all, her Incarnation is so strong."
"Wow..." Catrise slowly stood up. "Well, nice to meet you, Draconian Paladin. Let us get along well."
The Paladin nodded silently. As Catrise touched it, the figure turned into golden light, wrapping around her body and forming armor while giving her the same hammer.
"Oh wow! Is this Incarnation Fusion?!" Catrise asked.
"Yes..." Louis nodded.
"Looks like she figured that out right away? Incredible. Catrise is a natural for sure!" Benladra said. "Congratulations, Catrise!"
"Also, a new Spiral made by Louis and Catrise means that Oblivion has lost some territory within the Fantasium Dimension," Kate smiled. "Well done. Now you need to level up more and continue growing your Spiral and Cultivation."
"Thank you for all the help. I am forever indebted to the great divine dragons," Catrise said, lowering her head.
"No need to bow, Catrise," Louis said. "You stand as family here. We are all equals. You also drank my blood and that of my mother recently, right? You should continue cultivating the Dragon Bloodline. I am sure you could awaken a full dragon form. I can feel you have the potential."
"F-Full Dragon Form?! People that are not born dragons who are capable of such a thing are incredibly rare! W-What makes you believe I have such talent, my prince?" Catrise was shaken by such high expectations.
"You truly do. Believe in yourself a little more, my little priest," Benladra giggled, kissing her forehead. "You have grown so much since the first time I met you, Catrise!"
"Thank you, Queen Benladra! Since the moment I started following you, I have felt like I finally had a purpose in this life," Catrise said. "Now that I am serving your son as not just his Maid but also his Paladin, I shall do my best to serve him well!"
"Alright then, we are done," Gustaf said. "This new Spiral of yours is quite something, Catrise. Can we run some checkups?"
"I would like that. Then we can send the info to the lab," Kate said. "Later, we will design special Divine Treasures that will be compatible with your Spirals and boost their power even further."
"You can do that?!" Gustaf was shocked this time.
"It is completely possible. We have developed the technology, but we lacked any Spiralwalker to test it on," Kate nodded.
"Wow, you people of Yggdrasil never stop surprising me! Hahaha!" Gustaf laughed. "Well, alright."
Thus, Louis and Catrise spent the rest of the day together learning and analyzing their Spirals and Incarnations, growing even closer than they already were.
And the day after, House Frostbane finally gathered to learn about their training paths. The Dragon King stood firm as he brought along his strongest allies and assigned each member their masters.
