Chapter 710: Breaking Their Opinions
Chapter 710: Breaking Their Opinions
While the matriarch was unsure if she should trust this to Clark, she had nothing to say to him to fully rebuke what he was asking. He even had the energy radiating off of him that proved he had confidence.
"You are this trusting of your own skills and your healer's skills? That you can perform this medical and healing technique? My elves are plenty skilled to do this." The matriarch didn't fully believe this though. It showed in the slightest of twitches on her eyes.
Clark's sharp eyes caught this, just enough that he could understand a few things. However, his mind rested on the stereotypes of the elves.
They were a nature loving race. They relied on nature and their deep connection to it. Therefore, they had long developed more advanced medicinal alchemy. They also studied the bodies of various species of beasts and races. This had allowed them to take a very large step in to the world of healing.
Because of that, they had advanced medicine and even techniques to be able to counter conditions that could not be healed through basic healing or potions. This was due to the simple fact that everyone could be born with these conditions.
The elves might be full of vanity, but that did not mean that the vanity fueled them to push aside those born with certain illnesses or disabilities. Instead, it pushed many to find ways to heal and fix those illnesses and disabilities.
Tumores, lame libs, and even other more dangerous conditions had been researched in depth. This information was never shared with outsiders. Therefore, the degree of importance that this information carried for other traces was enough to make them do anything for it.
Those who had children born with such illnesses had gone to great lengths at times to bring them to the elves. It was how the elves had been able to establish a city here so easily. Not just their racial strength when it came to how old they lived, but their ability to use those people who owed them debts.
They had used those debts to build their city at the earliest of days. Managed to connect themselves to the humans and establish a territory where they would not be bothered. A wise decision that was leading them forward still.
"I am confident in the skills I have and the skills my family has. Maria has already brought healing in to a whole new light for the humans within the universal alliance. I can promise you that when we succeed, all of your best healers will wish to teach her. Not because she will learn it so well, but because she will challenge their idea of healing while she learns."
This statement made the gathering elven healers stunned. They had never heard a human say something so arrogant. Did he even know how powerful their healers were? Did he even know how advanced their techniques were?
They had generations of surgical techniques that allowed them to delve in to the deepest illness within a body. Then they could safely heal the wounds they created without causing further damage or the illness to resurface. It was an incredibly delicate and beautiful process that required the greatest respect for the life that nature could grow.
"I see that there is a lot of doubt. Fine, how about I tell you how your beast growth is wrong first? Healers like the elves should have the most advanced and perfected beast methods for growing their healing beasts, correct?" The matriarch found this entertaining. Especially since they were about to do something grand.
She had already sent out scouts with the information to destroy the hidden communication bracelets after tracking them down. They had beasts that could easily grasp those odd signals. She had even already accepted that she would send assistance to the humans to rid themselves of the same.
But the scouting of possible blood moon cult branches would wait for the moment. Until they handled the dangers closer to home. Right this second, the monsters, or potential monsters, would be handled. But they needed time to prepare everything. Bring the healer that Clark bragged about.
Now that he had made such a bold statement, why would she stop him from showing them what he had to his skill set. He had made many bold claims, while she chose to believe him, she still wished to see it all out in the open.
" That lunar eel around your neck. You feed it the rising moon lily. A rare flower that grows near pools of water and only blooms during the rise of the new moon. But you should be feeding it the crescent moon briar."
"What's ridiculous. You want me to poison my beast!?" the elf in question immediately was indeed. He had cared for his lunar eel his whole life. This was his spirit beast.
"Yes. poison it so that it can become the right beast. You think that it is already as strong as it can be? But you are sitting here and only letting it focus on its innate light affinity for healing. Not the secondary spiritual typing it has." Clark scoffed a little. Just to add some attitude to the atmosphere.
"If you give it the crescent moon briar, it will weaken the light affinity enough for the spiritual affinity to take hold of its body. From there, it will balance the light and spiritual energies within its body. Then you will have a flowing moon eel. Capable of purifying poisons while also healing light related injuries at double the effectiveness as it can now.
That's also if you stop bringing it out in the sunlight so much. It needs calm light from the moon. Walk more during the full moon or let it out to pay the entire night."
"And you, the winged hound you have. Are you stupid? Letting it eat the light crystals? That's asking for it to grow in to a wingless light hound. It will lose the healing ability and become a battle beast. You should have it bath in light crystal sands.
That will let it scrape away the poor skin and fur that are tainted from other energies. Then it can become a four winged hound. Stronger healing ability overall."
"Then you there, you are doing perfect with your methods. I doubt anyone else knows that the dream sheep has a love of colorless lotus flower scents. Bathing in it has begun to help clean the wool to a much better quality. While it is not going to grow in to another form, now its wool is purified and ideal for burn wounds. So much so that it can do better than any basic healing salve made in here."
"By the way, you three there stop letting those monk lemurs eat the sweet cherry fruits? That is why they are getting tired more easily. They are almost addicted to the sweetness at this point. If they keep eating them, they will give up on better healing skills entirely. Never to reach the elder monk lemur that can even heal severed limbs."
The constant onslaught of information made every single elf singled out to drop their jaw. They had no idea how Clark could know so many details about tier partners. Let alone know methods beyond what they had comprehended to ensure that their beasts grew stronger.
"Are you seriously not writing this down? I would charge all of you for this information if I didn't need to make a point! So you- Maria! Come on over and show them Lit. they don't believe anything I tell them." Clark was still playing it up as Maria was led inside. He was certain the others had been brought elsewhere as well.
Maria found that everyone focused on her instantly. Their eyes were full of curiosity. But even more so, with a new level of disbelief. They did not believe what Clark had told them before she got there. She could tell. "Just shop them Lit, they already know that you had a spirit beast glow sting jellyfish.
They don't believe that there is a hidden growth plan that we followed." Clark spoke with pride and comfort toward Maria.
The room also remained more silent now that they had spotted Maria. "Then Lit, please come out and show off a little. These elves doubt your strength." Maria did not cease the show that Clark had been putting on. She adapted and joined in.
As Lit came from the taming space, gasps from the elves followed. The different kinds of barbed tentacles made the elves wonder how a glow sting jellyfish became this. But the spiritual and poison energies radiating from Lit stunned them even more.
When she changed forms and wreathed Maria in an elegant royal cloak, they were stunned again. The colors of the cloak and the tentacles that still moved allowing Lit to heal alongside Maria were too amazing. Their opinions of glow sting jellyfish had been shattered.
