Chapter 659: Build Stronger Foundations

Chapter 659: Build Stronger Foundations

"That, is already figured out." Clark smiled at Clara as he asked her to bring forward the people who would be fighting with them.

In the line, there were many students that Clark did not recognize, but from the school uniforms that they wore, he could tell a few things.

They were not the top students from prestigious families. They were mostly the lower ranked students that had gotten here out of luck or a lot of effort. The students forced down by the powerful family young masters or branch families. These students had been forced to be assistants and miss out on the best classes.

Naturally, these had been the students that were reacting the most when they began to hear the whispers of rebuilding the city to be better. Of breaking down the larger families so that the smaller individuals could stand together instead of cut apart.

The same was to be said for the professors and the general guards around the academy. Many had been strong enough when they joined the academy for their positions. But, through time, if they had not bent their knee to allow corrupted bribes or other means to influence them, they had reached the bottom.

Now they were booking upwards again. At a potential future where they would be able to grow and actually learn. Actually teach. Actually uphold the values that their hearts beat for. It was foolish to believe that every single person within Nova City and Nova Academy were evil. They were just too powerless to be able to hold on to those values and enforce them.

"Ella!" Clark shouted when he saw her coming with the others. She was right in the lead with a determined look on her face. The others had been pulled along with her, Ralph looked like he had managed to get a few things done already as well.

"You all brought the notebooks for Ella, Ralph, you can go after the metals. Take whatever you need. Maria, the same with the healing related herbs and medicines. Try and keep track of potions too. Isa, you are doing your supply preparations. Don't let us interrupt you, I know you have a lot to do." Clark knew that all of these were important things.

"Grace, I know you already have a list of herbs you need to help overcome your illness, this is the time to work on that. This entire vault houses everything you might need. Brade and Reese will be helping me gather the things I need for each beast plan we hand out. So, Jerold will be your guard for the time being. His armored chameleon is also not ready yet for a fight."

All of this was spot on. The only two that are in a position to help anyone right now were Reese and Brad since they had already done what they needed. The only preparations they needed were for their beasts in the sense that they did not use any stored energies. Their beasts were preparing whether the pair were moving or not.

Without any hesitation, Clark stepped forward and looked at the first girl in line. She had two guards with her. A clear representation of her family backing her still. "We are from-"

"Your family name and relationship doesn't matter. You came here because you are on our side and want to clean things up. What beast do you have and your guards have?"

The abruptness didn't shake the girl at all. She was still a little shocked due to seeing people died earlier. Now she could only do what she was told along with her guards who called out beasts. The situation was like a dream or a nightmare, none of it made sense to the reality that they knew, but they all understood what they were standing from now. There was a chance for change.

'Spark weasel- rare

The spark weasel is a multi type beast. A very rare beast with water, fire, and wind affinity that comes together to make a lightning type possible. Due to this, it has many potential growth paths.

Due to the lack of materials being given to it due to constant harassment from other beasts, it has been stuck at a weaker strength. But to recover and show its true might at its age, it requires a lightning struck wood, five water energy crystals, and a shivering grass stalk.

The method to allow them to be used…'

The system showed that its intelligence and the rewards from previous quests were not just for show. Clark saw that the needs for the beasts were being shown over the general information. This made it easier for him to be able to have Ella write out a beast plan for the immediate moment.

"Remember, your two prickled hyenas need to be massaged while they absorb the energies from the iron lumps. They are metal type beasts and need to be able to relax their muscles as the energies awaken the dormant effects of their needle like fur. They have been malnourished for too long." Clark gave the papers to the two guards and the girl.

While they were clearly weak due to bullying from other families, Clark knew that they were a good unit to cooperate together. It was also an easier solution for them.

His eyes fell toward a group of professors assistants. He had seen them rushing around the academy. Always carrying materials or other random things. Food, drinks, and even laundry. None of which was their job. But they had been forced to where they stood.

Now, they held defiant look of determination.

Some would question if these people would be willing to listen to a child. But they could sense the strength that Clark's group radiated. Well above their own since they had always been stamped down. Some even becoming weaker since they received their positions here.

They also understood that Clark's group had purposefully left the city for longer after the tournament. They showed some strength and had committed to becoming even stronger. Clara had even purposefully let that fact drop. That these students at such a young age compared to guards, professors, and many other professionals, had managed to walk through a deep wilderness area as training!

"You need to let your beast sit in the water formation circle for an hour. Ten just let it eat a few of the lily pad seeds in this bottle. Your green sky hawk was forced to cut its feathers. It won't be able to fight in the air, but you can feed it these tornado bush berries to allow it fight stationary attacks. Then your fisher cat needs…'

As Clark and Ella worked, the rest of the group had fallen in to the motions. Both Brad and Reese listened to what they needed carefully. Amazed by the sizer and organization of the vault here. Every rare material, every perfect description there was. They were learning and also helping as needed.

Maaria managed to find the section of potions and medicinal herbs. So many that she could not hold on to all of them. That was where she found Isa. many people would not fight. They were unable to or too afraid. But that was where they had gathered with Isa.

They could easily gather together and be able to help Isa send supplies toward the groups fighting. They would be the reasons that no one perished that did not have to. With Maria's help, they would also double as healers or medicine givers.

As Jerold was standing to block off the section of herbs where grace sat slowly feeding the frost finch ice and wind herbs, he could sense the massive changes. These were not some low class series of herbs. They were rare and held powerful unique ice and wind energies.

For Grace to have access to them, sped up her healing by years, if not tens of years. This illness was a cause of her own doing, but it had been the thing that helped save their lives. Therefore, Jerold did not let a single thing come nearby him or Grace. He had a duty to protect what he could.

His armored chameleon was also dealing with the potent poison from the frogs that they had acquired within the violent jungle waterfall area. It was slowly changing the strength of poison energies within his partner and also its saliva. That way, when Jerold left here to fight wherever he was told to do so, he would be a force to be reckoned with.

All this happening at once with nearly flawless cohesion made Clara, the Mane family forces, and Alexander wonder just who they were and what they had done for their entire lives. They were being outdone by a younger group of children who had barely been tamers for a year.

The level of knowledge, and strength being displayed was more than any single person should have at their age. A clear example of genius in its own territory. A perfect example of a better future that this younger generation could carry on for years while building the foundation for what could come beyond that.
