Snow Kissed

Chapter 6

Chapter 6

He gathered me into his arms, kissing me with a particular desire.

His mouth was incredible. I anticipated that he'd be a decent kisser, but he still surprised me. I became ravenous for more. Snowed in with nothing left to lose, that's how I justified the return of my lips on his.

“One second.” He drew back, undoing his shirt and stripping. Giving me enough time to take in his physical attributes. A smooth, well-defined upper body, with arms sporting solid bulked muscle. He made my frugality scream.

Chucking his shirt aside, he pulled against him and found my mouth with his.

I wasn't the romantic type and for that reason alone, this would be strictly business with a lonely Bushman.

His hands trailed my body, making me twitch and spasm. My impatience wreathed, we needed to get this show on the road.

I grabbed his belt and he smiled, laughing at me again.

“What?” I hissed, pulling the leather from the buckle.

“You don't slow down and enjoy much, do you?”

“What's that mean?” I kissed him, undoing his jeans, struggling with the zipper.

“Amy,” he laughed.

“What is the problem?” I wanted to scream in my haste.

“Nothing.” He returned to kissing me. His jeans barely holding on to his hips, I wanted them off; I wanted to see what he had going on under them.

Taking the fabric of the shirt, he peeled the flannel off me. His eager mouth found the crook of my neck and he laid small kisses on my shoulder.

My moans buzzed with enjoyment and that was about as surprising as when he picked me up off the ground.

Upon the upheaval, my hands gripped his hair for something to hold onto.

He carried me toward the bedroom and dropped me down on the bed with a care that made stare up at him through the dim light.

His hands came to my jeans and he pulled them off me, underwear included. He regarded my naked form with a look that perplexed me.

Biting into my chest, he stopped my immediate thoughts.

Then he was over me, his hot mouth on my neck as he lapped at my skin. My eyes fluttering shut from his meticulous touch.

He bit into my lips with his kiss and his tongue met mine.

“Amy.”

The way he said my name made my stomach clench with wonderment. Unlatching my bra, he removed it with the same gentleness.

His fingers grazed my chest and that ignited his need as he planted me under him in the quilts and worked between my restless knees. His still clothed pelvis scathing the space between our wanting bodies.

I felt his hands come to my cheeks and he caged around me. My heart thundered with anticipation as he finally kicked off his jeans and returned between my legs, naked.

He kissed me deeper than I expected, but I readily went along with it, dipping the tip of my tongue against his.

He swallowed, opening his eyes to look down at me.

An awkward smile brimmed my lips. His gaze was endearing like he liked me or something. It made me more uncomfortable thinking about what he was thinking, so I stopped thinking and arched my pelvis off the bed toward what I wanted.

His arm wrapped my waist and he pinned me against him, not letting me return to the bed as he tipped the edge of my heat.

My pulse continued to quicken as I waited for the entry.

He nudged his nose against mine, closing his eyes, his cock slipping inside me with a slowness that killed.

"You're..." My eyes fluttered shut as my head fell back on the bed and I finished my breathy thought, "...huge."

He nudged inside me carefully, testing my limit, but I wouldn't see there being one. His thickness felt amazing, I wanted more, I wanted...

“Condom!” I sat up on my elbows ruining the moment and his concentration.

He blinked. “What?”

"Don't you have one?" I was on birth control, but I wasn't taking a ride on the mystery train, even if he was inside of me, as we spoke.

“I don't have any,” Ean admitted.

“What!” I almost slapped him but controlled my wanton hand from doing so. “Are you joking? 'Cause it's not funny.”

His brow wrinkled. “No, I'm not joking.”

“Jesus!” I pushed him off and he ripped himself back so fast I had to bite my lip to stop my scream. “Every guy has condoms.” Especially single ones.

“You're a single guy!” I pressed when he said nothing.

He grabbed his jeans. “I don't have any, I'm sorry.” My eyes fell down his chest and my mouth went dry as he pulled his fly up.

He watched me a moment, embarrassed or put off. “Sorry.”

I peeled my eyes away from his jeans and huffed. “You've got to have one.” I got off the bed and walked to his nightstand, pulling at the drawer. There just had to be one somewhere.

“No!” He clambered around the bed and grabbed me, pulling me away from his nightstand and slamming the drawer shut.

I stared at him, astounded by his unusual behaviour.

“I don't have any.” His voice was harsh and I didn't like it.

“You have wine on your jeans.” I told him with my best sneer.

“I know,” he shot back, stepping into my space like he was about to kiss me. I watched his lips part and I licked mine.

“This was a bad idea,” he said in a deep, clear voice.

I stared at him, far beyond confused, but I couldn't be faulted for wanting a condom.

He walked to his dresser and grabbed a shirt, then headed out of the room.

I watched him leave and it tasted sour. He didn't even look at me!

“What an asshole!” I hissed, angry that I'd even let him get me naked. I collected my bra and dressed myself, putting on my jeans and one of his shirts.

I stormed back out, about to chew him black and blue. Because that's what I did so well and got paid to do it too.

“Ean, what the fuck!” I walked to him in the kitchen.

He grabbed a pan and dropped it on the gas stove. “Do you like steak?”

“What?”

“Do you like steak?” He didn't even give me a glance.

My jaw unhinged.

I tried to figure out what was going on, “You can't be pissy at me for wanting a condom.”

“I'm not upset with you.” His voice broke with a softer tone. “That was a mistake in there. I'm sorry,” he told me, “It won't happen again.”

I choked; it felt like he'd punched me in the gut. Repeatedly.

He looked down to the empty pan. “I'm sorry.” Except I wasn't sure who he was saying sorry too because it sure as hell didn't feel like he was saying it to me.

He walked to the fridge, pulling out some onions, butter, and garlic.

I watched, he didn't look up at me and I started to feel uncomfortable.

He peeled the onions, about to chop them when I did something I never do.

“Sorry, I kinda flipped out,” I apologized. Maybe he'd look at me with his soft green eyes if I did.

“It was my fault.” He picked up the knife and chopped into an onion.

Snowed in with a stranger and now silence.

I turned away and looked at the fireplace, where the box of ornaments still sat. My outbursts were starting to embarrass me, I wish I could blame it on the drugs, but I couldn't, it was me. Amy Black. Loner. Executive. The deflector of the male species and in this case, over a condom. My lowest of lows likely.

I walked to the ornaments and crouched down. Looking through the box and finding a couple of sparkled snowflakes. They were old and for some reason at that moment, I appreciated the fact that they required care and vigilance. It took me forty minutes of tedious tree tending to complete, all the while, I could feel him watching me. Like I would watch him from time to time, but we said nothing and avoided any eye contact. The snow around the cabin made it pin drop silent and if I couldn't have his company, I had the succor of the crackling fire.

“Amy...”

I spun around, my heart picking up from the sound of his smooth voice.

He put a plate of food down on the table for me.

Walking over, I looked down to the well-cooked steak, potatoes, and sauteed mushrooms and onions. It smelt amazing, but my appetite wasn't present.

He sat down and dropped a magazine to the table, flipping it open as he started to eat.

“Are you going to sit down?” he asked without looking up to me.

“I'm not hungry.”

He swallowed what was in his mouth. “Okay.”

That was it. Okay?

I turned and walked away, trying to keep my best composure. I hated that he was rejecting me, but I loathed that I cared. I shut his bedroom door and my strength broke, sort of like when I'd been in college.

I felt little. I felt defeated. I felt under him and I didn't like those feelings.
