Chapter 12
Chapter 12
He hadn't made me a gift!
The idea was ridiculous, but some part of me liked it.
“Sorry, I thought you were going back out to your shop and considering I almost burned down your house earlier; it might not be a good idea to leave me alone again.”
“I was hoping you'd make it five minutes, Amy.”
“I can if you're coming back.” Losing my confident demeanor to desperation, but I sort of was desperate. For him. I wanted him to take me to his bed and...
He stopped within near inches of me. “I'm coming back, don't worry.”
“He was never as nice as you are to me, Ean and you hardly know me. I don't understand why I stayed with him for so long.”
“We don't always do things we understand. Sometimes we just do them because they get us through another day. Maybe he was just getting you through another day.” His simple answer made so much sense and I nodded in reply. Leaning in, he lifted his index finger under my chin and tilted my mouth to his so our lips touched.
“I didn't make you anything,” I said with guilt.
“You made me strudel. Unless it wasn't for me?”
My cheeks heated. “Yeah, it was.”
“Then you did.” He brought his palms to my face and kissed me deeply.
I moved to him, his wool socks on my feet slipping on the wood as I neared my body to his. It was the first time in my life that my heart was speeding because of a man and the way he kissed me. It left me wanting more and craving like I'd never before.
His lips parted and his nose dropped against my stubby nose, a nose, I'd never really liked all that much.
“You want that present?”
I brought my hands from his biceps to his cheeks. “No.”
He lifted an eyebrow. “No? But I slaved all day making it.”
I smiled, tracing my fingers along his chest. “Well, okay, I do want it. Just not right now.”
“Hmm.” He kissed me again, this time his hands crept under my shirt.
My eyelids fluttered and moved into his grip.
The kiss continued and he moved me towards the fire and couches. I didn't really want it on the furniture, though, I wanted the bed. I wanted it and I didn't even know what it meant to want it.
He dropped me into the sofa. “Stay here, no baking. I'll go get the present.”
I huffed and watched as he walked away. “Ean, not fair!”
“Hey, you ran out of the shop earlier, I didn't have time to grab it. Be back in a few minutes.”
"Don't get lost in the snowdrifts!" I called as he left the house.
This left me with minutes. Minutes which were going to seem like hours!
I groaned and pulled my hair from my flushing cheeks, the thought of that man inside me made my stomach start to clench.
I needed something to do, even if it would only be minutes.
On my feet, I walked to the kitchen, taking the time to clean and wash the counters. Once again finding peace in cleaning, but this time it was holding back all my wanton thoughts of Ean Hunter.
I glanced at the clock, it had almost been five minutes and I started to wonder where he was. I found myself at the big sliding doors and I peered out into the darkness, wherein the far back, I could still see the muted lights of his shop.
The front door shot open and I jumped back from being spooked, hand over my heart.
He closed the door gently, noticing my jumpiness. “Sorry.”
“What took you so long?” I huffed.
He shook off his thick work jacket and hung it up. “The snow's deep.”
I watched him walked back to the fireplace. “But it's letting up and it's starting to get pretty cold.”
I saw it in his hand now. It was wrapped in burlap and seemed to be a box shape, tied off with twine. Very man-like wrapping, but I could appreciate the effort.
He sniffed, his nose and cheeks bitten with cold as he looked over to me. “Come here, sweetie.”
“Ean, don't call me that,” I grumbled.
“Why?” He smiled, sitting.
"Because." I sat down next to him.
He put the present in my lap. “Merry Christmas, Amy.”
I found the bow end of the twine, about to pull when I paused.
Ean was watching me and I looked up to him at that moment.
He smiled. “Are you going to just stare at it?”
“No.” I pulled the twine between my fingers and the burlap loosened. Peeling back the course fabric, it revealed a wooden box with a deer carving on the top. My heart stopped. “You...You made this?”
“Yep.” He reached out, lifting the upper part to show me. “You can use it for whatever you want, but I was thinking more like jewelry.” Inside was padded in dark red velvet material that would protect gold. Lifting the perfectly sized box in my hands, I inspected the wood it was made from and tiny feet it had.
The scary thing was a month ago, I would not even have glanced at something like this, but all of a sudden, I found it beautiful.
“Thank you. I love it.”
He smiled. “I'm glad. The deer is so you remember winter tires or chains next time.”
“Next time?” My eyes shot to his.
His face softened and he fell quiet, standing after a few awkward seconds and stoking the fire.
“Ean?”
“Yeah?” He brushed his hands off on his jeans.
He waited, as the patient man he was, but I failed to form the question I wanted to ask. “Thank you again.”
“You're welcome. Just...” His words fell away.
“What?” I wanted to hear so badly what he had to say, but his words foundered too.
“Ean, I...” I swallowed, about to jump off some invisible cliff. “I think- I think, I like you.”
His eyes caught mine and we stared at each other for a long moment before he advanced on top of me, taking my chin and lifting my mouth to his. “You think you like me?”
I smiled, warmth spreading through me. How I could feel so much for one person in just two days was mind altering, it scared me.
He took the wooden box from my lap and placed it on the ground as he leaned into me, biting into my mouth and driving me flat along the couch.
Bringing my hips against his, he settled above me looking smugly euphoric.
I wrapped my arms around his neck. “Come here.” I burned, I wanted more. So much more.
He rubbed his nose against mine, kissing me softly.
My heart did a sputter from the way he was with me. Enjoying the way he looked me over with his deep, green eyes that held a brightness that intrigued.
His mouth sunk against my lips and I swallowed, trying to hold it together. I brought my knees to his sides and squeezed.
“Bedroom.” He lifted me off the couch abruptly and I smiled, almost slipping off, but he held me firm in his grip. He didn't let me go and I wasn't sure if he ever wanted to let me go.
“Jeez.” I breathed, tightening my legs around his midsection as he walked.
“What?”
“You're strong.”
He kissed me and carried me to the room. Lying me down on his amazing bed and crawling over me at a tentative pace.
“You're not very heavy, Amy. I lift wood twice as heavy as you... and I've raised people three or four times as heavy as you.” He scrunched his face from his words. “I hate doing that.”
I giggled at his explanation of my lightness and brushed my hands through his messy hair.
He groaned and put his mouth back on mine.
“Take your shirt off.” My voice was all breathy and loose in anticipation.
He sat up away from me and pulled it over his head quick.
I looked him over, the light hair on his upper chest reminded me of his very male aura but he returned to me with a slowness that penetrated my soul.
“Is that better?” He purred.
I ran my hands over his chest with want, nodding. “You look good shirtless.”
“You look good shirtless too.” He took me around my waist and pulled me up, tugging the flannel away from my body.
I smiled. “You mean bra-less?”
“That too,” he unclipped my bra and freed me from it. His eyes running over my exposed breasts as his mouth moved to them with a precise tongue.
My speech was taken from me, gasping, I attempted to breath as he arranged me under him. Moving away, he stripped the sweat pants from my hips, and my feet free of the wool socks.
I giggled as he gripped my left foot and bit into the arch, causing my toes to curl.
Bending my head back, my body ignited. My foot slipping his grip as he came around me.
“Did you like that?”
I laughed with a slow nod.
He smiled and reached back, gripping my thigh and pushing himself against me through his jeans.
“Aren’t you going to take your pants off?”
“You're very impatient,” he noted as he undid his belt and jeans with his one hand.
I watched, excitement pulsing through me, unable to control my wanting. I didn't feel like me. I just felt like some girl falling for some boy, it was all weirdly normal.
He kicked off his jeans and came around me, teasing me with his thickness.
I bucked, gripping his neck and begging, “Ean...”
“Hmm?” He smiled, watching me.
“Come on.” I urged, pawing his bulked shoulders and tugging his weight on me.
He chuckled and with great concentration, he took me.
My frustrations melted on contact. “Oh.”
He dropped his mouth to my lips and held himself deep, letting me take all of him.
I moaned, wanting the friction of his cock. I hoped he'd catch on.
He settled his hips heavy against mine; his mouth trailing my cheek and kissed my neck gently. His stubbled jaw prickling me with goose bumps and I broke, wanting more than that.
I felt him slip me and return, burying his length inside my folds.
My fingers gripped into his hair as I called out and with my knees, I squeezed his sides coaxing him on.
He was mind numbly the best I'd ever had, even at his slow, destructive pace on my unhinging nerves.
I groaned in agony. “Ean, come on.”
He lifted his head and looked down at me. “Hasn't anyone ever made love to you?”
My insides clenched, reality crashing back to me. “Made what?”
“Why don't you just relax a bit, Amy?”
Relax? I was relaxed, he had ten inches inside of me, how much more relaxed could I get!
“I am,” I said, my impatience hitched in my voice.
Slowly he lowered himself to me and dropped his mouth near my ear to whisper, “Close your eyes, Amy.”
I swallowed and closed my eyes for him, giving in.
He nuzzled me, sucking the soft skin of my shoulder and sending my mind into a far off place of pleasure.
The feeling of him continuing made me relax and I kept my eyes shut as he'd requested.
I moaned, as he moved in and out of me at a smooth, but slow pace.
I wasn't used to the unhurried fucking, I felt my body wanting the digging I was privies to most of the time.
“Ean...”
He smiled against my mouth. “Enjoy it, sweetie.”
My thighs fell apart, losing their strength and he deepened himself at that moment.
I could have screamed at the way he'd just taken me, it had burned all over my body, fizzing my mind.
He continued to kiss my neck, as his shoulders lifted off me and the deep angle kept, with his pelvis grinding.
My hands fell from his chest to the blankets, clutching them in my hot palms upon the tension building in my center.
“Ean, yes,” I opened my eyes, staring up at him with an open mouth.
He crushed against me and kissed me, his tongue melting against mine. He held my cheek and kept the depth, but increased the pace.
I hummed in my new raw state.
“Amy...”
I swallowed as he slowed, my eyes meeting his in the darkness.
My thighs slipped further into the bed as I bucked against his cock.
His concentration broke as he succumbed to our union. “You feel so good, Amy.”
My eyes rolled back into my head as he fucked me. “So do you. You're so-- big.”
His arm wrapped my waist and he took me harder. I felt no control, but for some reason that was okay.
The rest of whatever it was he did, made my body break and I became his, in some off moment in time, I also wanted to be his.
My hands gripped his broad shoulders, hanging on as the warmth spread through me like wildfire.
He groaned as I sheathed his cock with my orgasm. Never in my life had I experienced what Ean Hunter had seemed to put me though.
I hardly noticed the rest of the goings-on's, but I felt him in me, felt my hips as they lifted to him and let him fill me.
He fell around me as he came, hard, whispering gentle words to me. Days ago I would have ran, pushed him off, slapped him, but he had changed me in such a short amount of time, I hardly had to the will to understand. So instead, I just accepted it.
