Chapter 716 716: Achieving Ancestor

Chapter 716 716: Achieving Ancestor

Establishing the small planes brought Herag immense benefits, further proving the vast potential of these small planes.

As these small planes gradually develop and grow stronger, they will bring even greater advancement to Herag.

"This is..."

As Herag was swimming upstream, he suddenly had a mystical sensation.

He felt as if the Mother River was calling to him, establishing some sort of connection with him.

Herag immediately realized that the infinite bloodline power within him was establishing some connection with the Mother River.

The Mother River was communicating with the infinite bloodline within, creating some wondrous reactions.

In an instant, Herag understood that the Mother River was acknowledging the infinite blood rune he had condensed, a necessary step towards reaching the Ancestral Level.

For a Level 8 Dominator to advance to Level 9 Ancestor, their bloodline power must be acknowledged by the Mother River.

This step is very difficult, as the blood runes condensed by the vast majority of Level 8 Dominators struggle to quickly gain the Mother River's recognition.

They need to spend a lot of time enhancing their bloodline power to allow their condensed blood runes to reach the Ancestral Level.

Once their blood runes gain the Mother River's recognition, they connect directly with the Mother River, becoming one with it, truly receiving the blessing of the Mother River's power, immortal and eternal.

The infinite blood rune condensed by Herag evidently surpassed ordinary blood runes, thus quickly earning the Mother River's recognition.

For the Mother River, this type of superior bloodline power is what it requires and can aid in its expansion and strength.

Herag quietly sensed the transformations within him; each blood rune in his body was connected to the Mother River, capable of receiving a direct infusion of the Mother River's power vertically.

This state is unimaginable for Level 7 Legendary Life or Level 8 Dominator Life; each blood rune in the body can directly communicate with the Mother River, capable of unleashing power on a completely different level.

More importantly, Herag discovered that when he immersed himself in the Mother River, he could directly release his bloodline power into the Mother River.

These released bloodline powers would follow the river's flow, traveling to various planes in the Endless Plane.

In other planes, various new life forms would carry his infinite bloodline power.

If these beings fell before advancing to Level 7 Legendary, their power would flow back into Herag, providing feedback to him.

But if these beings advanced to Level 7 Legendary or even higher levels,

After their ascension, the Mother River would directly reward Herag, granting countless gifts of power.

For an Ancestral Level existence, releasing their bloodline power is undoubtedly a beneficial act, with no harm to themselves.

All it takes is releasing the bloodline power and then waiting for time to cultivate results and reap the benefits.

Naturally, Herag wouldn't waste an Ancestor's privilege and attempted to release some of his infinite bloodline power.

These threads of bloodline power, once entering the Mother River's waters, swiftly followed the current far away, rushing forward, destination unknown.

At some future time, this bloodline power would appear within a newly born life in some plane, becoming their most primordial force for growth.

Herag was very confident in the power of his infinite bloodline, certain that beings possessing this bloodline wouldn't fare poorly; it was just a matter of how far they could go.

For Herag, the further these bloodline-bearing beings went, the more benefits he would gain.

It's like scattering seeds, just waiting for them to grow into towering trees.

Herag watched the bloodline power flowing far away, contemplating many issues.

Having gained the Mother River's acknowledgment and ascended to Ancestor, Herag found himself moving more freely within the Mother River.

Previously, it was as if only part of the shackles were removed, but now, they were completely gone, allowing him free movement.

However, the speed was still not fast, akin to an ordinary person swimming in the river, not resembling the rapidity of a life possessing extraordinary power.

But Herag was satisfied; it was no longer difficult.

Unlike before, where even twisting his neck would exhaust all his strength, let alone swimming, which was nearly impossible.

Herag then began to swim upwards; now, he couldn't precisely estimate the distance.

In this environment of the Mother River, many things are inaccurate.

However, he could intuitively feel that he was indeed approaching the surface, the distance shortening.

As long as he confirmed this, Herag had no doubts, and all he had to do next was to strive forward.

After swimming a certain distance in the Mother River, Herag felt gradually fatigued.

Just like ordinary people swimming in a river, it took a lot of physical strength, impossible to swim perpetually.

Herag gritted his teeth, persevering until he felt completely exhausted and then was forced to stop, subsequently exiting the Mother River.

Only after fully recovering could he enter the Mother River to continue swimming.

Herag felt it was like meditation before, where only a certain amount of time per day could be meditated, and further meditation wouldn't increase spiritual power.

Swimming in the Mother River was very similar to meditation; daily physical strength was limited, and once depleted, he couldn't move and had to wait for recovery.

Reaching the river's surface required a long process, but Herag was in no hurry.

After ascending to Ancestor, Herag informed Andres and some of the Sixth Ring Tower's upper echelon, letting them have a sense of understanding.

Upon learning this, Andres and the others were first shocked, then overjoyed.

They were amazed at how quickly Herag gained the Mother River's acknowledgment and ascended to Ancestor.

This was rare in the history of the Endless Plane, except for certain existences inherently possessing a complete ancestral bloodline; ordinary people reaching this point step by step was nearly a fantasy.

But Herag did it.

With an Ancestral Level existence on the Wizard Plane, Andres and the others felt more at ease.

Because an Ancestor signifies eternal existence; no one can defeat an Ancestor.

When Herag followed the Thousand-Eyed Ancestor to the Star Realm, confronting the Ancestral Level Star Spirit, they only temporarily trapped him through the Spider Queen's abilities.

The Thousand-Eyed Ancestor and others never thought of killing that Star Spirit because it was simply impossible.

The Ancestor is connected with the Mother River; unless you can kill the Mother River, killing an Ancestor is futile.

And if the Mother River were killed, the entire Endless Plane would collapse.
