Chapter 240: Just the Tip

"?" Suggested Luxuria hopefully.

"Absolutely not," Huffed Aria indignantly.

"."

"Yeah, well, I’m very much involved, so I’m not just going to stay out of it."

It was the next day, the 17th of October, 2169, around midday. And I’d just summoned Luxuria to update her on my new relationship status.

I did think about just telling her in my head, but that felt wrong, like I was taking the easy way out.

"Sorry, but no. Of course, you’re free to continue watching porn and stuff, but I’m not going to get involved anymore," I replied firmly.

"," Sighed Luxuria, her shoulders slumping.

"Uh, I can set you up on dating apps or something," I offered, as I patted her shoulder.

"Wait, really? I thought, since you’re the Apostle of Lust and all, you’d be fine with anyone. Uh, no offense," Chimed in Aria sheepishly.

"Huh, so that’s how it works," Responded Aria in bemusement, looking a bit awkward.

"I’m sorry to disappoint you, Luxuria, but there’s no room for compromise here. If there’s anything non-sexual I can to make it up to you, say the word," I added with an apologetic smile.

"," She shook her head.

I do feel bad, but I just can’t accommodate her desires anymore. I promised Aria that I’d never do anything to hurt her, and I fully intend to keep that promise.

"Sorry again. I’ll withdraw you now, I’ll summon you again later, so-...," I began.

"Actually, wait...is it alright if I talk to her in private for a bit, Kai? I kinda feel bad, so, um...yeah," Spoke up Aria.

"Huh? I mean, sure, that’s fine. What exactly do you want to talk to her about, though?" I asked her curiously.

"Honestly, I’m not sure. It’s just...I don’t know, I feel like I need to have a one on one conversation with her, without you around. I feel like she’ll be more honest if you aren’t here."

Ah, so that’s what it’s about.

"Well, so long as it’ll only be a conversation, that’s fine. No hostilites, Luxuria. Oh, and if she asks you to keep whatever you talk about a secret, listen to her and don’t tell me," I instructed.

"," She nodded, a bemused look on her face.

"Thanks, Kai, I really appreciate it," Smiled Aria, before I reached out and patted her head.

"Sure, don’t mention it. I’ll be in the rec room, let me know when you’re done," I replied, before heading out of the bedroom and shutting the door behind me.

Yeah, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. But it’ll be fine, I’ll just have to trust that Aria knows what she’s doing.

"?" Inquired Luxuria warily.

"Well, um...I’m not really sure. I don’t have anything in particular in mind, so-...oh, I know! Earlier, you said that you didn’t sense any hesitation in Kai, right? Is that really true?" I asked her.

"," She responded with a grumble, before adding, "?"

"No, that’s not it...I trust him, it’s just that this is a big change, so I wouldn’t blame him if he had some regrets about, um...not getting to, you know, do stuff with you and other women," I muttered awkwardly.

"?" She inquired with a smirk.

"H-Huh? I, um...m-maybe not right now, but eventually, I-...I mean, it’s not like I’m not interested in that stuff, I-I’ve just never done it before. S-Sure, I’ve thought about it, but...," I stuttered, before trailing off in embarrassment.

W-Wait, what am I saying?! She doesn’t need to know all that!

"?" She smirked, narrowing her eyes at me.

"Th-That’s none of your business!"

And there’s no shame in that, but it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to adequately please him...unless, of course, you had some instruction. Mm, I do believe I’ve caught your attention>," She whispered, as she circled me at a slow, deliberate pace.
