Okay, this isn’t half-bad. As disastrous as that raid turned out to be, it wasn’t a total loss. At least, for me.
That Archdemon netted me a pretty massive number of points, more than the rest of the Monsters in the Dungeon combined.
I’d gotten eight and nine points from Luxuria and that other Greater Demon, respectively, so I figured I’d get maybe four or five times more points from the Archdemon.
Nope, closer to fifteen times the amount, I gained a little over a hundred and twenty points from consuming his body.
And that’s just with my physical stats, I got over a hundred points added to my MP too. Well, considering that I very nearly died, I suppose it’s only fair.
It was the following evening, around 6 PM.
I was back home, and decided to distribute the points I got from the Archdemon, only to be completely taken aback at how much it was.
Seriously? His head alone was worth more than two Greater Demons combined?
Wow. Not really sure what else I can say.
My current stats are looking pretty great, it almost makes what I went through seem worth it. Almost.
Here’s what my stats look like right now:
HP: 486
MP: 808
Strength: 491
Agility: 660
Vitality: 481
Perception: 643
Power Level: 594,800
This is a pretty substantial increase, but I’ve still got a lot way to go. The Archdemon’s Power Level was close to three million, I’m not even close to one million yet.
Hey, Ai, you said before that I’ll eventually reach the limit of how far I can keep increasing my Potential, right?
Any idea how powerful I can get before I reach that limit, at least a ballpark estimate?
I see, that’s too bad...well, I suppose it wouldn’t make much of a difference even if I knew.
It’s not like knowing my upper limit will help me progress faster. And either way, I plan on continuing to keep getting stronger.
And the little you have assessed is still pretty useful info. So, the next time the rate of my power growth slows down, I’ll have reached about half the power I’m capable of reaching, right?
And that’s good enough for now, I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself, so maybe this uncertainty is for the best.
Now, then...it’s time to address the other notable gain I acquired in that Dungeon.

I shifted my gaze down as she appeared before me, kneeling down on one knee with her head bowed.

"Yeah, thanks. I’ll get straight to the point...we’re going to need to set some ground rules, just to be safe," I remarked, as I took a seat on the edge of my bed.

"What? No! I was just getting comfortable, that’s all. Actually, kneeling like that doesn’t look particularly comfortable, you can sit up here if you want," I replied with a sigh.
"
"...I meant next to me, not on me."
"
Hey, Ai, is she messing with me? I really can’t tell.
Huh. So, she’s just mad horny?
"
"Hm? Right, let’s get back on track...I touched on this a bit in the Dungeon, but I’d like to be more comprehensive with it. I’ll be setting some ground rules that I expect you to follow, mostly pertaining to how you should act around other humans."

"Good, see that you do. For starters, no attacking or killing humans, not unless I say so," I stated firmly.
"
"Hm, fair point...maybe we could have some kind of signal?" I suggested uncertainly.
"
Right, come to think of it, she was coordinating with me as I wanted, even when I didn’t have time to give out instructions.
"Alright, let’s test that out, see if I can do it at will," I mused, before staring at the wall as I directed an intent at her.
Raise your right arm. Raise your right arm. Raise your right arm! Raise-...!

"Yeah, that’s exactly what I was going for. This is pretty convenient...," I smirked as I glanced at her.

"Okay, you gotta stop assuming everything I say or do is sexual."
