The surprise had worked and I saw quite the interesting look on Noah’s face when I revealed myself.
But it didn’t mean that I was able to remain here for long.
After all, there was still something else that I had to handle.
Since I had revealed myself, there shouldn’t be a problem from the other countries. Especially since I had taken the position of the minister which showed just how close I was with Noah.
That meant that all of them would treat this wedding seriously and try to build a good relationship with Noah.
They would have done that already since they knew that Noah was the prime minister of the Kite Kingdom. However, there was nothing that gave him more leverage than having a good relationship with me.
Proving this to the world was like giving the prime minister a powerful weapon.
Since I had the Holy Empire help me prepare everything, they were also the ones that helped transport me back to their territory in the end.
It took no time at all to bring me back to the Holy Empire and to the main church.
Once I was back, I saw that there were all of these different paladins and priests that were prepared. It was as if they were getting ready for some kind of war with how many they had gathered.
Though they did make sure that all of these people were inside of the main church and didn’t show a trace of themselves elsewhere. With how much they had prepared, it was quite easy to see the determination of the Holy Empire.
I didn’t say anything since this was indeed the level that this matter had to be treated with.
This was the difference between being able to fight against the last of the Four Omens.
Not to mention that I had a clear idea of just how strong that last member of the Four Omens was.
Which was why this was something that had to be done.
Once I was at the main chapel, I turned to them and said, "I’m counting on you to make sure that no one comes in."
It wasn’t all of the popes that were here.
Since they had coordinated with my plan, some of them were currently still in the Kite Kingdom attending the wedding. They had to do at least this much or else it would have drawn attention.
However, the ones that were left behind knew exactly what they had to do and they seemed determined to see it through.
In fact, it even looked like they were willing to sacrifice their lives just to see this through, which was a bit too intense for me.
None of them hesitated as they nodded in agreement and they even went to take their places. It seemed like even the popes were getting in on this, as they were personally taking guard positions.
There was no doubting the power that they possessed since they were popes of their religions.
Only the most faithful could reach these positions and when faith was power, that meant that they were among the most powerful in the Holy Empire.
With them here, there shouldn’t be anything to be afraid of.
Though what Zwein didn’t see was that after he went in, there was this barrier that appeared.
"This is a divine barrier..." All of the popes could see that right away.
After seeing this, their eyes seemed to fill with passion and determination as they went to take their places.
They knew that they weren’t wrong to put their faith in this Holy Son of theirs.
After entering the chapel, I was pulled right into the god realm.
There was only Solista who was waiting there for me.
It wasn’t that she was the only one that wanted to see me, it seemed like she had sent everyone else away with how solemn she looked. It seemed like even Solista was taking this matter seriously even though she was just giving a trial.
Which was why I couldn’t help feeling a bit worried.
The way that Solista acted certainly didn’t seem normal.
It seemed like she was taking this even more seriously than I was, which was strange since I was the one undergoing the trial...
"Are you ready?" Solista asked in a simple manner after seeing me.
However, I shook my head to say, "What is this trial even about? You haven’t told me a single thing yet."
Solista didn’t say anything at first, but then she asked, "You just have to confirm if you’re ready first. Once we start, we can’t go back on this."
I couldn’t help knitting my brows upon hearing this, but it didn’t seem like she was going to go back on this.
As such, the only thing that I could do was give a nod and wait to see what she would do.
After I confirmed this, that was when Solista finally explained what this trial would be about.
"So I just have to go to this place and help develop the people that are there?"
No matter how I looked at it, it didn’t seem as simple as it sounded.
After all, this kind of trial for fourth inheritance of the Creation God didn’t seem like it was a fair deal.
It really felt like there was more to this.
However, Solista didn’t say anything else after that as she just nodded to confirm this.
It seemed like there were things that she couldn’t say about this trial, which meant that it really wasn’t as simple as she was making it.
In that case, it might be best not to take this trial...
Only the reward for the trial was something that I really needed.
After a long moment of silence, I finally said, "Alright, send me there."
Solista didn’t say anything in response as she waved her hand to send me away.
But before leaving, I heard her say, "Good luck."
"Damn, even a god is wishing me luck..."
