Chapter 190 Lying
Chapter 190 Lying
Su Wuli glanced at him again; how could Yu Chen possibly say that?
She pretended not to see it and answered other questions.
It was completely dark outside the window, but the number of viewers in the live stream was still rising.
The barrage of well wishes kept flooding in, one after another drifting in from the edge of the screen and piling up together.
She blinked, trying to suppress the heat, but couldn't.
My throat is still tight.
She looked up and met Yu Chen's eyes, which were fixed on her.
His gaze fell on her eyes, and then he silently asked, "What's wrong?"
She paused for a moment, then shook her head to indicate that she was alright.
But then I noticed her brows furrow slightly.
Su Wuli shook her head and smiled again, wanting him to know that everything was alright.
His brow twitched, clearly indicating disbelief.
Su Wuli lowered her head and pretended to read the comments.
The words on the screen were still scrolling, but she couldn't see any of them clearly.
I only heard the sofa make a sound, like something moved.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him change his posture, leaning forward slightly.
He was observing her.
Su Wuli pursed her lips, fixed her gaze on the screen, and unconsciously gripped the cup with her fingers.
There was another sound from the side.
This time, she couldn't help but raise her head.
Yu Chen moved a little closer to her, resting his elbows on his knees and leaning forward to get closer to her.
His lips moved again. "What's wrong?"
He seemed to think that if she didn't speak, he would find a way to make her talk.
Su Wuli quickly shook her head, this time a little faster.
His gaze shifted from the corner of her mouth to her eyes.
Taking advantage of the opportunity presented by fans asking why her eyes were still so red in the comments, Su Wuli spoke up to explain.
"I'm fine..." she said, looking at the man next to her.
In response to his question.
Yu Chen's fingers twitched on his knee, then he quickly withdrew them.
He then leaned back onto the sofa.
While she was interacting with her fans, Yu Chen moved again in the corner of her eye.
Su Wuli picked up the cup and took a sip, only to find that it was full again.
She paused for a moment, put the cup down, and didn't look to the side.
The comments section started flooding again.
[The water my brother-in-law poured.]
[Warm water again, such attention to detail.]
She looked at the words and couldn't help but laugh again.
She smiled. She smiled.
[She smiles whenever her brother-in-law is mentioned; tsk tsk, a woman in love.]
Su Wuli smiled and then looked up at the side.
Yu Chen was leaning back on the sofa, looking at her.
His lips twitched slightly.
At 7 PM, the button to end the live stream was pressed, and the screen went dark.
Su Wuli put down her phone, leaned back on the sofa, and let out a long sigh.
Remembering the blessings from her fans in the live chat, she sniffed and opened her eyes.
Before anyone could react, the person was pulled out of the water.
Yu Chen lifted her off the sofa, and Su Wuli fell backward, her back hitting his chest.
Her legs were caught by his legs, and the next second she was sitting on his lap.
The movement was so fast that Su Wuli's exclamation was stuck in her throat, and she only managed to let out a short, sharp sound.
Yu Chen leaned back on the sofa, with her across his lap and her head nestled in the crook of his shoulder.
The man's arms were wrapped tightly around her waist, as if he was afraid she would run away.
Su Wuli was held tightly by him and could not move, so she could only look up at him.
His chin was just above her forehead, and when she tilted her head back, the tip of her nose almost brushed against his Adam's apple.
Yu Chen looked down at her, his gaze moving from her eyes to the tip of her nose.
The light moved from the tip of her nose to the corner of her mouth, and finally stopped at the outer corner of her eye.
There's still a little red there.
Yu Chen raised his hand and touched the corner of her eye.
His fingertips were a bit rough, and when they brushed against the thin skin at the corner of his eye, they caused a slight tingling sensation.
Her fingers remained pressed there, the heat from her palm seeping through her thin skin, making her eyelids twitch.
"What's wrong?" Yu Chen asked again, this time not silently.
She lowered her eyes, her eyelashes brushing against his fingers.
"Nothing much," she said, her voice unusually soft. "It's just that I haven't chatted with them in a while, and I'm a little..."
She paused for a moment, then continued, "It touched me a little."
Yu Chen's gaze fell from her drooping eyelashes to the corner of her mouth.
His fingers moved away from the corner of her eye and slowly slid down her cheek.
My fingertips brushed against my cheekbone; the skin there was so white you could almost see the capillaries underneath.
Her eyelid twitched when he pressed it.
His fingers continued to brush down the corner of her mouth, stopping on her lower lip.
Su Wuli's breath caught in her throat.
His thumb pressed against the middle of her lower lip, but he didn't apply any pressure; he just held it there.
Her lips touched his fingertips, feeling the thin calluses, the lines of his fingerprints, and the warmth of his fingers.
She was neither open nor closed, just maintaining that slightly open position at this moment.
He showed a little bit of his teeth, and his breath leaked out from between them, hot and spraying onto his fingers.
"You're lying." Yu Chen's tone was certain.
She felt a jolt when the deep voice came down.
A feeling of being seen through, a tingling sensation running from the top of my head all the way to my toes.
His fingertips were still pressed against her lips.
As he spoke, his thumb twitched slightly, pressing down gently as if confirming something.
Su Wuli's lips were pressed open slightly, and a very soft breath escaped from between her teeth, which she herself could not hear clearly.
"I--"
Just as Su Wuli opened her mouth, his thumb moved up slightly and pressed against her upper lip, silencing her.
Yu Chen lowered his head and his lips touched the corner of her lips.
It was very light, as if it would leave if touched.
She held her breath instantly, waiting for him to leave.
However, he did not leave.
His lips moved from the corner of her lips to press against hers, and as his tongue probed in, Su Wuli's fingers gripped the fabric of his shirt.
His lips were hot, lingering on her lips as if he were savoring something.
His large hand moved away from her face, slid down to the back of her neck, and pulled her up a little.
Su Wuli pressed her entire body against his, her chest against his chest.
Heartbeats collided through two layers of clothing, making it impossible to tell whose was whose.
Suddenly, her cell phone, which was on the coffee table, rang, making the tabletop shake.
People's names pop up on the screen.
Su Wuli reflexively pushed him.
Because of her previous docility, the man was caught off guard when he kissed her, and Su Wuli pushed him back, causing his back to hit the back of the sofa.
Su Wuli slid off his lap, her knees hitting the carpet, and she braced her hands on the edge of the coffee table to reach the still-vibrating phone.
However, the moment her finger touched the screen, someone wrapped their arm around her waist.
She was pulled back, her back hitting his chest, and her legs were trapped between his legs.
The phone slipped from my fingers and landed on the coffee table, screen down.
It's still buzzing and vibrating incessantly.
Yu Chen's hand encircled her waist, while his other hand held her chin, turning her face towards him.
Before Su Wuli could react, her lips fell again and sealed hers.
