Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth

Chapter 781: Not calling myself Fu Shihan unless I twist your head off.

Chapter 781: Not calling myself Fu Shihan unless I twist your head off.

After confirming the meeting time with Zhong Xian tomorrow, Su Wanxin sent him a message, then tossed her phone aside.

Fu Shihan firmly took the day off to stay at home, lying in bed staring at the ceiling contemplating Su Wanxin, was interrupted by a phone call from Lin Rui and got really annoyed.

"Brother Han, there’s something off about Cheng Yao!" Inside the airport, Lin Rui sat on a chair with his legs crossed, reporting to Fu Shihan. "She just boarded a plane and left!"

Ever since that day when Fu Shiyi told him that Su Wanxin had hit Cheng Yao at the restaurant, Fu Shihan had been secretly keeping an eye on her.

But he hadn’t expected that she would just leave like that.

Hearing Lin Rui’s words, Fu Shihan leisurely got up from the bed, went to the study, and rebuffed, "If she was alright, would I need you to follow her?"

Lin Rui: "..."

Fair point.

Lin Rui: "I checked the flight information and found out she flew to Canada. Brother Han, who exactly is this woman?"

Lin Rui had no memory of her. If Fu Shihan hadn’t instructed him to watch her, he wouldn’t have even known she existed.

"My secretary," Fu Shihan answered calmly, turning on his computer.

"What?!"

Lin Rui sometimes visited the Fu Group too, and he quite liked going to the secretary’s office because, after all... there were many attractive ladies there.

The Fu Group’s secretarial department was considered top-notch nationally, both in terms of appearance and professionalism.

But despite his numerous visits, Lin Rui really had no memory of this Cheng Yao. She was quite attractive, so how come she had such a low profile?

Hearing Fu Shihan’s reply, Lin Rui was puzzled: "So, did she resign?"

Fu Shihan contacted the head of the secretarial department using his computer to confirm that there was no resignation letter from Cheng Yao.

That meant Cheng Yao left because of her conflict with Su Wanxin.

Fu Shihan asked the person to send him Cheng Yao’s employment details, though he knew they might not be very useful since no company would thoroughly check the basic information employees fill out upon joining.

"Keep an eye on Su Wanxin for me, 24 hours round the clock," Fu Shihan ordered while looking at the details on his computer. "Report immediately if anything seems off."

"What about Cheng Yao? Aren’t we going to check where she went?"

"I’ll look into it myself."

Fu Shihan switched the computer window; the last location shown by the software, marked by the red dot, was conveniently the airport.

That day, he had casually inserted a little device into the lipstick Cheng Yao carried. It seemed to be working well so far.

Although he wasn’t sure how long it would last, he had found out her destination for this trip, which was enough.

"Brother Han." Lin Rui scratched his head, mind went blank, and recklessly asked: "Did Wan God dump you?"

As soon as he asked, Lin Rui inwardly cursed.

Why did he blurt out what he was thinking?

The phone went silent for a few seconds, then Fu Shihan’s cold voice came through. "Come back now and ask me that question to my face."

If I don’t twist your head off, I’m not Fu Shihan.

"I’m off to find Wan God! Bye Brother Han!"

Lin Rui hastily hung up and hurriedly walked out of the airport, deciding to steer clear of Brother Han for the foreseeable future, or he was virtually certain to get punched.

Fu Shihan glanced at the screen that went dark and continued looking at the documents from Cheng Yao that the company sent over.

From the documents alone, nothing suspicious could be discerned; she seemed like a normal person. However, Fu Shihan raised an eyebrow when he saw her date of birth.
