Chapter 761: Suppressing the Su Family

Su Wanxin was slightly startled, then she understood.

"Then just reject it. Cancel all projects in cooperation with Fu Group."

There was no need for him to suppress her; she would withdraw on her own. She wouldn’t bask in his glory, nor would she waste his time.

When Chen Lei heard her words, he hurriedly advised, "Don’t be like that, we’re talking about two or three projects! They’re all at the final stage, the products are about to launch, and you’re telling me to cancel everything? What would people think if this gets out?"

"Let them think what they want, it’s not like my clash with Fu Shihan is anything new. Everyone knows it."

"So now you’re addicted to this act?" Chen Lei was in despair. "Ancestors, people act to make money, but you’re acting to lose money!"

Su Wanxin fell silent for a moment, then confessed, "It’s not an act, now we’ve truly fallen out. If I’m not wrong, he’s probably going to go crazy. Try to have as little contact with him as possible in the coming period to avoid being used as a punching bag."

As Su Wanxin spoke, she couldn’t help but laugh.

Thank goodness she was in finance. If she had joined the entertainment industry and became an actress, by now she’d certainly have been thoroughly blacklisted by him, and crying and shouting wouldn’t have helped.

He would stop at nothing to make her bow her head and go to him to admit her mistakes. This was his usual method against enemies, Su Wanxin had seen it too many times, never thinking that one day it would be used on herself.

Fallen out? How so? Was it the kind of falling out where everything’s been broken to bits, with no chance of reconciliation and making up?

"You guys..." Chen Lei started to speak, then stopped, his heart aching. "President Su, can’t you think of another way? Pulling out of these projects, it’s truly going to be a big loss!"

All the time and manpower wasted, that’s all money!

"There’s no way around it. You’ve known Fu Shihan for many years as well, have you ever seen him go easy on an enemy?"

"But you two aren’t enemies!"

"We weren’t before," Su Wanxin said softly, "but we are now."

After hearing her say this, Chen Lei didn’t know what to say anymore.

Even a fair official finds it hard to settle family disputes, not to mention he wasn’t clear on the exact reason why the two had fallen out. It was hard to mediate without understanding, better to say less and avoid mistakes, to keep silent was the best option.

Su Wanxin: "Bring out all the company’s backup plans, and don’t bother with the Fu Family anymore."

"Alright, got it," Chen Lei reluctantly nodded, then hung up the phone.

Su Wanxin’s guess was not wrong; Fu Shihan’s oppression of her had only just begun.
