Chapter 704: Training Her

The earpiece brought the sound of the ringing phone, and Su Wanxin puzzledly took it out, seeing Fu Shihan’s name, she frowned and answered.

"Find a place to stand still, don’t move, I’m coming to find you."

Fu Shihan’s deep voice came through the earpiece, leaving Su Wanxin slightly startled, she asked, "Where are you?"

Fu Shihan was a bit irritable, surrounded by crowds, noisy and loud, he had a headache.

"I’m not sure, there are too many people, send me a landmark."

Su Wanxin: "... You’re at the temple fair?"

"Mhm."

"Why did you come here?"

"What do you think?" Fu Shihan was unhappy. "What’s there to see in this lousy place?"

The weather was cold and windy, the ground dirty, and the place crowded and noisy.

He must have been so bored, so idle to have come here.

Su Wanxin could hear the anger in his words, her mouth pursed, the light in her eyes dimmed somewhat, and her speaking voice became much quieter.

"Alright, I know, wait for me, I’m sending it to you now."

She replied softly, hung up the phone, and looked around. Then she took a few photos and sent them to him, and just kept waiting in the same spot.

It was truly quite cold, once one stopped moving and stood in one place, the feeling of coldness intensified.

Both sides of the street were filled with vendors hawking their wares, there were children’s toys, candied haws, sugar figurines, and a variety of snacks, attracting people’s attention.

Su Wanxin’s hands were in her pockets, and she was looking down with her head low. After standing for a while, she inevitably drew some sidelong glances, she didn’t know what to do, so she just bowed her head pretending not to see and clenched her teeth, waiting for Fu Shihan to appear.

Time slowly passed by, she didn’t know how long she had been waiting, but her hands and feet were freezing to the point of extreme discomfort, almost to the verge of tears, when a familiar voice came from beside her.

"What’s there to see at this place? Coming alone at night, aren’t you afraid of getting lost?"

He admonished her in a low voice, Su Wanxin looked up at him after hearing him, gave him a couple of glances, then quietly looked down again, without saying a word. But her expression looked especially aggrieved.

Seeing her like this, Fu Shihan’s heart instantly softened. He pulled her hand into his coat pocket, feeling her resist and struggle a bit, he then held on tightly and did not let go.

The only person wearing a suit and leather shoes to a place like this was him. Plus, he was tall and handsome, so wherever he went, he drew a crowd.

Fu Shihan didn’t mind being watched, but today he was in a bad mood and had a cold expression all along.

Su Wanxin followed him for a while, knowing that he didn’t like places like this, so she softly suggested, "Let’s go back, let’s not wander anymore."

"Not watching the fireworks anymore?" Fu Shihan looked down at her, he had heard on the way there that there was a fireworks banquet, not sure when it would start.

"Let’s not, let’s go." Su Wanxin shook her head and replied in a subdued voice.

Fu Shihan stopped in his tracks and asked with concern, "Are you angry?"

"I have nothing to be angry about." Su Wanxin smiled: "You came all this way to find me, I’m too happy for it."

Although she said that, her eyes didn’t look happy in the slightest.

Thinking of his bad tone on the phone earlier, Fu Shihan guessed it was because of that and then pulled her closer by her shoulders, saying, "Let’s wander a bit more."

Su Wanxin smirked, following him, but her heart had already lost the excitement she had earlier.

These past two days, she had been holding back too many things in her heart, and seeing him now, it all came rushing back, causing her such discomfort that she didn’t feel like doing anything.

In the freezing cold, she just followed his steps, wandering aimlessly, until Fu Shihan stopped in front of a stall and bought her a balloon.
