Chapter 657: Su Wanxin: I’m involved with him; I agreed to be his girlfriend.

Su Wanxin’s words reminded Su Yao. Not to mention other things, if she clumsily annoyed Fu Shihan, given his shameless nature, he really could do anything.

Su Yao looked at Su Wanxin with a tight frown, feeling uncomfortable inside. Su Wanxin knew she was worried about herself, otherwise, she wouldn’t be so anxious.

"I’m going upstairs to sleep. You should go to bed early too. As for the blind date, forget it, even if you arrange it, I don’t dare go."

Su Wanxin stood up to go upstairs; Su Yao blinked, reacting belatedly.

"What do you mean you don’t dare to go? You can’t let yourself be completely controlled by someone with the surname Fu right now! You two aren’t even in a relationship yet!"

"We are." Su Wanxin replied softly: "I agreed to be his girlfriend."

Hearing this, Su Yao was truly at a loss for words.

Was her sister an idiot, the kind that couldn’t be pulled back no matter what? What kind of aphrodisiac had Fu Shihan given her?

After Su Wanxin went upstairs, she felt a bit tired and lay on the bed, seeing a message from Fu Shihan.

The content was quite ordinary, telling her where he dined tonight and with whom from which company, just having returned from the engagement.

Fu Shihan had one very good quality: he was always transparent about his whereabouts.

Where he was, what he was doing, and who he was with. Without asking, he would always clarify everything.

Su Wanxin saw that the first message was sent over a dozen minutes ago. She didn’t reply, so he sent a second one, saying he heard from Fu Shiyi about tonight’s events, asking if she was angry.

Su Wanxin thought for a moment and replied: I was chatting with Yaoyao downstairs just now and didn’t have my phone with me. I’m not angry, just a bit uncomfortable, but it’s within what I can bear.

Anybody would feel upset hearing that their boyfriend’s grandpa didn’t like them, and Su Wanxin was no exception.

She had made an appointment to see a therapist tomorrow. The treatment for her amnesia needed to continue, and she felt she needed to adjust her emotions. She didn’t want negative feelings to accumulate too much and lead to some accident.

H: Mr. Lu is a good person. There must be a reason for what he said to Shi Yi today. Leave Grandpa’s matter to him; you don’t have to worry.

Su Xiaopian: Why leave it to him to handle?

H: He understands Grandpa’s temperament. They’ve known each other for decades, survived the battlefield together, so there are things we can’t say or do that he can.

Su Xiaopian: Was it you who asked him for help?

H: Sort of. I should have asked him a year ago when you hadn’t left, because he later came to me for payment, and I didn’t dare to admit I’d forgotten about it.

After reading this, Su Wanxin’s lips curled into a smile, probably imagining how Fu Shihan had bluffed his way through then.

H: Don’t overthink it and don’t be unhappy. I’ll take care of the family matters.

Su Xiaopian: Okay, I understand. I’m going to sleep now, good night.

After chatting with him, Su Wanxin put her phone aside, stretched languidly, and went to sleep.

No matter how many people liked her or disliked her, life must go on.

After waking up to the bright day and having breakfast, she still had to go to work to earn money.

Su Wanxin got busy in the office all morning and intended to go out for lunch when she saw Fu Shiyi wandering in the corridor.

Su Wanxin didn’t know when she had arrived but was fairly certain she had come to see her.

"Wanwan..." Fu Shiyi saw her coming out the door, spoke in a low voice: "Shall we have lunch together?"
