Chapter 641 We Get Married This Year

Su Wanxin nodded in agreement, giving him a look of disdain as if she was particularly reluctant.

Fu Shihan sat cuddled with her on the sofa, doubting life for ten minutes, then went out with her to have dinner with the bothersome old man who ruined his good timing.

Today’s dinner was originally arranged by GE’s President Hodward who invited Su Wanxin, and since Hodward was Fu Shihan’s professor in university and they had known each other for many years, Fu Shihan insisted on joining the dinner uninvited.

After spending an hour on the road, the two arrived at the restaurant and waited a while before Hodward pushed the door open.

Pretending not to see his reaction, Hodward turned to Su Wanxin and said: "I had some decent people I wanted to introduce to you, but it seems that’s not necessary now?"

"No need." Fu Shihan answered for her before Wanxin could speak: "Please relax, don’t worry about such unnecessary matters."

Hodward slightly raised his eyebrows, looking at him provocatively, though he said nothing.

Fu Shihan snorted with a laugh and leisurely said: "We are getting married this year."

Su Wanxin: "???"

She was sitting aside minding her own business, but burst out on hearing that.

Who was getting married to him this year? When had it been decided? Why didn’t she know?

Under the table, she kicked Fu Shihan before he reassuringly touched her hand.

"Oh?" Hodward asked with interest: "Really?"

"Really," Fu Shihan replied seriously. "Definitely."

"Then I’ll look forward to your good news."

Hodward smiled and then started discussing serious matters with Su Wanxin.

Su Wanxin was somewhat disturbed by Fu Shihan’s words and took some time to calm down, then completely ignored him.

The dinner lasted two hours because they were chatting while eating, occasionally checking some data on their phones.

They were discussing the new company that was about to begin operations after the new year in Hua Country, discussing it seriously, and Fu Shihan listened intently.

After the dinner ended, they left the restaurant. After seeing Hodward off into his car, Fu Shihan turned to look at Su Wanxin and asked, "Why did you agree to cooperate with him?"

"It’s nothing personal, just asking why you chose this type of work."
