Chapter 625: He’s Flirting with Me

Su Bai furrowed his brows in thought and then decided he was overthinking it.

Su Wanxin had been waiting upstairs for a long time without hearing the sound of Fu Shihan’s car leaving. Curious about what the two were talking about, she left her room and stealthily peered down from the staircase.

Only the figures of Su Bai and Yangyang were in the living room. Su Wanxin looked around and couldn’t see Fu Shihan, so she went downstairs and asked, "Where is he?"

"He went downstairs."

"..."

Su Wanxin turned and walked towards the kitchen, and sure enough, she found him there. Leaning against the doorway, she couldn’t help but laugh and say, "Are you so eager to enter my house that you’re even willing to apply as a chef?"

"I’ll make you something to eat and then leave, I have matters to attend to at the company this afternoon, and I might need to return to my country tomorrow."

Su Wanxin nodded slowly, aware that it must have been a squeeze for him to make time to come here. But the thought of him leaving so soon made her somewhat unhappy.

Yet she couldn’t say it out loud and just kept staring at him until she heard him ask, "Don’t want me to go?"

"Nope, you’re overthinking it. I’m just looking at how you’re making this." Su Wanxin stood up straight, turned, and walked away: "I didn’t quite catch it, you carry on."

She returned to the living room and chatted with Su Bai for a while, then heard the sound of plates being set on the table.

Su Bai followed to mooch off the meal and, upon seeing that Fu Shihan hadn’t made noodles, asked suspiciously, "Didn’t you say we were eating downstairs?"

Fu Shihan glanced at him and gave a teasing smile. Su Bai quickly caught on and sat down on the chair with an embarrassed expression, falling silent.

Three dishes and a soup – Fu Shihan used everything he could find in the fridge.

He looked down at his watch. He didn’t have the spare time to stay and finish the meal, so he had to say to Su Wanxin, "I have to take care of something, so I’ll leave first. Enjoy your meal."

"You’re not going to finish eating before you leave?"

"Mhm, I have an appointment with a client."

As Fu Shihan spoke, he headed out; Su Wanxin had no choice but to see him off and then come back in to hear Su Bai say, "He teased me."

Su Wanxin: "???"

"Really."

"How did he tease you?"

"He..." Su Bai suddenly choked up, unable to say it out loud, so he buried his head in eating and then realized that the rogue’s craftsmanship was actually quite good.

After Fu Shihan left the Su Family house, he went to the company. Having dealt with Su Wanxin’s matters, he was in the mood to take care of business.

Busy at the company until late into the night, he returned to the hotel, and then the next day, Fu Shihan went to the airport with Lu Ci.

Fu Shihan didn’t tell Su Wanxin the exact time of his flight because he didn’t want her to come and see him off, to avoid not wanting to leave after seeing her. But he didn’t expect that he would still see her at the airport.

Su Wanxin was accompanying Su Yao, and Su Yao, she came looking for Lu Ci.

Lu Ci set the condition with that piece of Jade, asking Su Yao to come to send him off today. Fu Shihan saw Su Yao with a see-through but unspoken expression, and pulled Su Wanxin aside to not be a third wheel.

"Here, take this."

Lu Ci took out the item and handed it to Su Yao. Su Yao slightly frowned, received it, looked it over, and then asked him, "How much?"

"Let’s talk about that later. As long as Aunt Qi likes it, it’s good."

Su Yao: "... I must pay you for this, separate from other matters."

"Then let’s talk about it after you return next year."

"...Okay, then."

Su Yao helplessly nodded, exchanged a few words with him before saying goodbye, and then went to find Su Wanxin, forcefully taking her away.
