Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth

Chapter 610: Grievance

Chapter 610: Grievance

Su Wanxin never expected Fu Shihan to make a special trip for her; her heart was filled with a mix of indescribable flavors.

"How did he know we were shopping there?" Su Yao asked curiously.

Su Wanxin hesitated, biting the corner of her mouth. After thinking for a while, she answered in a low voice, "No matter where I am, he always knows."

Su Yao: "..."

What kind of dog-food-like answer is this.

She suddenly regretted asking.

Su Wanxin hung up the last piece of clothing and began to organize the accessories they had bought. Her expression clearly changed when she picked up a ring.

Su Yao had been sitting on the floor, observing her, and took note of this moment.

Su Wanxin let out a sigh and continued to answer Su Yao’s earlier question, "What if I told you that he has put a tracker on me, would you believe it?"

"What?!" Su Yao sprang up: "Did that bastard implant a chip in you?!"

Su Yao walked over to Su Wanxin, concerned, "Where is it? Let me see it! Does it hurt? I’ll take you to the hospital tomorrow to get it out!"

Seeing her reaction, Su Wanxin grinned and appeased her agitated mood, "No, it’s not like what you are thinking."

Su Wanxin pulled out the necklace she was wearing from beneath her clothes and looked down at it intently.

This necklace was familiar to Su Yao; when she first found Su Wanxin, Su Wanxin was wearing this piece, and she had not taken it off for a long time.

It wasn’t a branded good, and though Su Yao had advised her to switch to another necklace, she only shook her head and refused.

"This... it’s given by Fu Shihan, right?" Su Yao frowned and asked, also leaning in to observe the ring, "What’s so interesting about it?"

"He said the tracking system is inside this ring, but I can’t see anything unusual about it."

"Really? It’s that magical? Take it off and let’s examine it!"

The two of them sat on the ground and stared at the ring for a while, eventually feeling that Fu Shihan was probably just fooling them.

Su Wanxin got up and tossed the ring into the jewelry box, not wanting to wear it anymore.

But less than half a minute after she walked out of the room, she turned back and returned—under Su Yao’s "I knew it would be like this" gaze, she reluctantly put it back on.

Su Yao chuckled gently, "Did Fu Shihan never give you anything nice before? Is a ring really worth your cherishment?"

"I don’t know." Su Wanxin replied, unhappily pursing her lips, "It just feels very important. As soon as I take it off, I feel uneasy."

She couldn’t remember what Fu Shihan had said when he gave her the ring initially; otherwise, just like Su Yao said, a ring should not be something to fuss over so much.

Even if the ring was supposed to be their engagement ring, Su Wanxin felt that this so-called engagement must have been something sneaky that only the two of them thought was legitimate.

There was no news report about the Eldest Young Master of the Fu Family ever hosting an engagement party.

From the past to the present, being with him for so long had always been hidden from the public eye. Whenever she thought about these things, Su Wanxin couldn’t help but feel aggrieved.

To what extent was she not fit to be seen in public?!

Damn Fu Shihan, having the nerve to have her enter into a secret marriage with him and then sneakily have his child!

Was her head filled with water? Why would she fall for his tricks?!

Su Wanxin strongly suspected she had been drugged by Fu Shihan.

After tidying up everything, Su Wanxin went downstairs and returned to her bedroom. Yangyang had already been lulled to sleep by Qi Ran, lying in the middle of the bed.

Seeing him, Su Wanxin’s heart felt much more settled.
